This research aims to increase students' active critical thinking in Civics Learning by implementing the Discovery Learning Learning Model. The subjects in this research were class X DKV students at SMKN 2 Maros with a total of 34 students, consisting of 21 male students and 13 female students. The research method used in this research is Kemmis and Mc Taggart using a classroom action research design consisting of two cycles. In this research, it is a multiple choice test which is carried out at the end of the cycle. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average score of 60 and an average percentage score of 60%, while classical completeness was 60% in the sufficient category and continued in the next cycle in the second cycle actions obtained an average of 83 .0, the average percentage score of 83.0% with classical completeness of 90% is in the very good category. The results of the data in cycle II activities have met the KKM which has been determined by student learning outcomes in PPKn learning obtained in cycle I and cycle II, showing that there has been an average increase of 30%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can increase active critical thinking in PPKn learning for class X DKV students at SMKN 2 Maros for the 2023/2024 academic year.

In the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Indonesian people are faced with technological sophistication that makes them able to do anything and communicate without meeting. However, unlimited convenience has a negative impact on the social society of Indonesia based on diversity. The space for communication is increasingly limited because we rarely see others, and everyone becomes individualist and less sensitive. It is necessary to strengthen through sociodrama-based PPKn learning on diversity material to strengthen a sense of unity and unity. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (PTK) is to improve learning outcomes on Indonesian diversity material with the sociodrama method of grade VII-E students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya. The subject of research is students. The data collection uses tests and non-tests. Analytical techniques use qualitative and quantitative. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes on average 59.5 in the first cycle to 77.3 in the second cycle. For the highest value of 79 in the first cycle to 90 in the second cycle. As well as the value in the first cycle 30 in the first cycle to 62 in the second cycle. Sociodrama improves PPKn learning outcomes in Indonesian diversity material for grade VII-E students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya.

The purpose of this study was to increase student learning independence in Civics subjects by applying the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a research design using the Kemmis & Taggart spiral model. The research was carried out in 3 cycles where each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. Each cycle is carried out through 4 stages of activity, namely planning, implementing actions, observing (observation), and reflecting. The success criterion set in the research is 60%. The results showed that in cycle I the level of student learning independence increased from the initial condition of an average value of 23% to 49% but had not yet reached the established success criteria. Cycle I then made improvements to continue in cycle II. After the repairs were made, there was an increase in cycle II which increased by 9% to 58% but also did not reach the specified success criteria. Improvements were made again in cycle II to be continued in cycle III. The results of the research cycle III increased by 11% to 69%, which means that the action was declared successful because it had achieved the specified success criteria.Keywords: Independent Learning, CTL Learning Model

The world of education, especially Civics learning, requires innovation and variation in the learning methods applied. The brain-based learning method is very interesting because optimizing brain work can be started in a simple way. Educators' knowledge of fundamental questions about "what is good for a child's brain?" is the essence of applying this learning method. This is research that uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The process of data analysis is done through reduction, display, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study state that the Brain-Based Learning Method with cybernetic learning theory is an innovative alternative in Civics subjects, so that learning is more efficient and fun. This learning method can be carried out in simple ways, such as paying attention to brain nutrition in students, paying attention to brain relaxation such as stretching or relaxing and listening to music, paying attention to plants and class aromas that can improve brain performance, paying attention to recess, and playing games in class.

This research was conducted because the background was low student motivation and critical thinking skills. So the aim of this research is to explain how teacher activities increase student activity, learning motivation and skills in critical thinking. Researchers used a qualitative and also quantitative approach with this type of PTK research carried out over 4 meetings. The research subjects were class V students at SDN Murung A with a total of 14 students. The results of the research show that teacher activity at the 4th meeting received very good criteria, student activity was very active, student motivation reached a percentage of 85.71% and critical thinking skills at the 4th meeting reached 85.71%.

The importance of this research is that there are important things that must be considered in this research, namely, in order to achieve the expected educational goals, quality and effective learning is needed. What are the values ​​of character education in PPKn learning to develop critical reasoning in class VIII-E students at SMPN 17 Malang, 2. The aim of this research is to find out school policies regarding the implementation of character education in PPKn learning to develop critical reasoning at SMPN 17 Malang. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques use triangulation to obtain the validity of the data, while the data analysis used in the research is reduction, display and verification.

This research aims to find out what democratic values ​​are implemented in PPKn subjects at SMPN 19 Malang, the factors inhibiting the implementation of democratic values ​​at SMPN 19 Malang, and how democratic values ​​are implemented in PPKn subjects using the inquiry method at SMPN 19 Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses triangulation techniques to obtain validity of the data, while the data analysis used in this research is reduction, display and verification. The research results show that, 1) Democratic values ​​have been implemented for a long time and are running well at SMPN 19 Malang. These values ​​consist of: tolerance, cooperation, responsibility, and deliberation to reach consensus. 2) Factors inhibiting implementation are students who violate school regulations and the existence of active and inactive student groups. 3) The implementation of democratic values ​​in PPKn subjects using the inquiry method at SMPN 19 Malang has apparently not been implemented by PPKn teachers. Because students are not yet able to study independently, students lack confidence and are embarrassed when asked to present in front of the class, as well as limited time in teaching and learning activities which means Civics teachers have not implemented learning using the inquiry method.

This article is entitled "Observation of PPKn Learning Methods at SMP Negeri 35 Medan". This article aims to find out the difficulties or problems faced by teachers in PPKn learning at SMP Negeri 35 Medan and look for methods or strategies that can be used to overcome these problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. Difficulties faced by teachers in learning include lack of facilities, differences in student backgrounds, lack of student interest and motivation, as well as lack of parental guidance and lack of economic support for students' families. Solutions implemented by teachers include a closer approach, special attention, additional lesson hours, and home tutoring. This article also provides suggestions for improvement and further research.

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the teaching style of Civics Teachers at SMP N 35 Medan and to find out what facilities the teacher uses when teaching in class.This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method using a field study approach. The results of this research show that the PPKn teachers at the school use an interactional teaching style and the learning facilities used are quite simple, such as the use of blackboards, study tables and PPKn package books.The conclusion is that the teacher has taught according to the RPP that has been prepared and he teaches well and with quality.

The aim of this activity is to increase the competency of PPKn teachers in the field of Anti-Corruption Education, eradicating corruption through more effective and systematic educational strategies through students and teachers in anti-corruption outreach efforts. The implementation method is training which aims to increase understanding of the dangers of criminal acts of corruption and strengthen commitment as an extension of the eradication of corruption, followed by training in the form of mentoring prospective Anti-Corruption Counselors. The problem of this research is the lack of understanding of the material and student involvement and learning outcomes that have not yet reached the KKM. This study aims to increase student learning activities and outcomes in civic education learning in class V SDN Antasan Kecil Timur 3 Banjarmasin. This study used a qualitative research approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in three meetings. The research setting was fifth grade students at SDN Antasan Kecil Timur 3 Banjarmasin for the 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 23 students consisting of 12 male students and 11 female students. The results showed that teacher activity at meetings 1 to 3 increased from a score of 19 to 28. Student activity at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 43.4% to 82.6% (classical). Cognitive aspect learning outcomes at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 60.8% to 86.9% (classical). The learning outcomes of the affective domain of discipline at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 69.5% to 91.3% (classical), the affective domain of confidence at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 69.5% to 86.9% (classical) and learning the affective domain of the area of ​​responsibility at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 73.9% to 82.6% (classical). The results of learning the psychomotor aspects at meetings 1 to 3 increased from 47.8% to 82.6% (classical).

This research aims to determine the role of civics teachers in improving the discipline of class X students at SMA St. Maria Rubit and to find out the teacher's efforts as well as the form or model of teacher example regarding student discipline. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The informants in this research were the Principal, Citizenship Education Teacher, and Class Teacher at St. Mary's High School. Maria Rubit. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research show that: The role of civics teachers is very important in improving student discipline at St. Maria Rubit, In accordance with existing school regulations, the aim is to apply discipline so that students can be time disciplined, be on time for school, be disciplined in dressing, be disciplined in attitude and be disciplined in completing assignments. In improving student discipline at school, I give constructive sanctions to students, all school members must comply with school regulations and work together with all school members to improve student discipline. Student discipline at St. Maria Rubit still lacks discipline, because there are still students who do not follow the rules set by the school, for example; time discipline, discipline in dressing and discipline in speaking. Exemplary efforts/forms made by teachers in upholding student discipline are by providing guidance and socializing the importance of discipline. The efforts made by teachers are by providing good examples for students.

The auditory learning style can help students rely on their hearing. This means being able to remember and understand certain information in learning. Students need the teacher's role in developing an auditory learning style that can help students improve their learning. The aim of the research is to determine the role of PPKn teachers in developing an auditory learning style to stimulate students' thinking patterns. This research uses a qualitative case study method. data from research findings shows that the implementation of learning using the auditory learning style of students has a systematic implementation of learning as usual, namely: 1). Providing or explaining the material to be discussed using an auditory learning style or lecture method, 2). Assignments and assessments. In implementing learning using the auditory learning style, a diverse learning atmosphere is created, 3). Learning uses an auditory learning style because it is considered fun and exciting. Based on research results, the auditory learning style really helps students in carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Civics teachers play an important role in the process of developing an auditory learning style in stimulating students' thinking patterns.

This research aims to ensure accuracy, ease of use, and effectiveness in the learning module development process which aims to increase understanding of the content of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 1945). In this research, research and development (R&D) methods are used using the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the research results, it is known that the results of expert validation of teaching materials obtained a score of 96% and validation of material experts obtained a score of 91%. In the practicality results obtained from the response questionnaire to teachers and students after using the teaching modules used, the practicality results for teachers were 94% and students were 98%. In the results of its effectiveness by giving evaluation questions to class X students, an average of 83.7 was obtained, while the KKM for class The results of this research show that the learning module that has been created meets the third evaluation standard, namely validity, ease of use, and effectiveness.

Character education is important in the content of the elementary school curriculum. The content of this curriculum can be constructed on local content subjects, in addition to conveying material as well as strengthening character according to local customs and culture. The development of character education that contains traditional values and local culture is important because it sees the reality on the ground that school children are very dependent on gadgets but are not used for educational activities, and in making decisions for the future they are still very dependent and centered on parents' decisions. So that the service team from the Unisri PPKn study program was motivated to provide workshops on the implementation of regional culture-based local content curricula. Methods Implementation of activities is carried out in the form of counseling and training in implementing a local content curriculum based on regional culture. The results of community service activities at SDN 01 Bumi Laweyan include teachers starting to carry out and apply local culture in daily learning activities such as greetings, greeting fellow friends, and with teachers using fine Javanese. The role of civic education teachers in instilling students' moral awareness is to provide learning motivation for students. The three moral components are knowledge, feelings and actions. The data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher concluded that the solution to the problems faced by teachers in fostering students' moral awareness is by teachers becoming good individuals so that students can emulate them.

Quality education requires a quality learning process. Quality learning is certainly designed in learning activities that use learning methods that are in accordance with the eyes taught by the teacher so as to assist the teacher in giving directions so that students can understand the content delivered by the teacher. In reality, education in Indonesia has decreased the quality of learning in the context of an independent curriculum. There are research findings called learning loss and learning gap devices in this problem. So it is expected that subject teachers must be able to restore the declining level of learning quality.  So researchers use a problem-based learning model. Where this problem-based learning model can solve problems and increase students' knowledge. The purpose of the study was to analyze the implementation of problem-based learning in improving the quality of PPKn learning at SMP Negeri 19 Malang. The method used in this research is qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques based on observation, interviews and document research. The result of this study is the application of the ICT-assisted problem-based learning model showing that a significant change because students are directed to examine problems in learning activities using problem-based teaching methods that have a positive impact on student achievement outcomes. Based on the results of the research, researchers can conclude that the application of ICT-assisted problem-based learning models in class VIII PPKn subjects of SMP Negeri 19 Malang students can solve problems in groups given by teachers.
