This study aims to formulate an integrated Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategy that synthesizes the acculturation of Islam Nusantara and ecological ethics as a response to the fragmented character of conventional PAI learning which has not yet optimally integrated local cultural values and ecological awareness. This research employs a qualitative library research method with a systematic literature review approach, analyzing 28 primary sources selected from 67 identified literature published between 2019 and 2025. Data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke's thematic analysis through six stages: familiarization, initial coding, theme searching, theme reviewing, theme defining, and report writing. The findings reveal that Islam Nusantara contains three relevant pedagogical principles cultural humility (tawadu' budaya), cosmological inclusivity, and peaceful transformation while Islamic teachings hold rich ecotheological dimensions through the concepts of ecological tauhid, khalifah fi al-ardh, amanah, and rahmatan lil 'alamin. Based on this synthesis, four integrated learning strategies are formulated: Contextual-Cultural Learning, Eco-Thematic Quranic Interpretation, Community-Based Ecological Projects, and Ecological Spiritual Reflection. This study proposes a new conceptual framework termed "PAI Nusantara-Ekologis," which positions students not merely as ritually devout individuals but as responsible stewards (khalifah) of the earth.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' personality and morals, not only by imparting religious knowledge but also by internalizing moral values for everyday life. The rapid development of technology, globalization, and social change presents challenges to moral development, requiring PAI learning to effectively integrate moral values in classroom dynamics. This study aims to examine the integration of moral values in PAI learning and its implications for strengthening character education. Using a qualitative approach with library research, data were gathered from books, journal articles, and previous studies on PAI and moral education. Data collection was through documentation, and content analysis was used to synthesize concepts, theories, and findings. The study finds that moral values in PAI learning are integrated through two approaches: explicit and implicit. Explicit integration involves teaching materials containing moral values, while implicit integration occurs through teacher role models, humanistic interactions, classroom management, and participatory and contextual learning methods. The integration of moral values enhances the meaning of PAI learning and contributes to students' attitudes and behavior. This study highlights that well-designed, value-oriented PAI learning plays a vital role in strengthening character education and continuously fostering students' morals.

Islamic education learning models in campus environments often face challenges in integrating critical thinking with religious character building. Dogmatic and lecturer-centered learning makes students less involved in discovering contextual religious meaning. This study aims to explore the development of an Islamic value-based Guided Inquiry learning model in Islamic education courses. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with an adaptation of the Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel model using the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), as well as a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed methods) through tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and reflective journals. Quantitative analysis used a mean difference test. The results showed that the developed model consisted of eight phases, namely Open, Immerse, Explore, Identify, Gather, Create, Share, and Evaluate, which were integrated with Islamic values, such as faith, honesty, responsibility, and tolerance. Expert validation showed high feasibility, namely 93.33%. The implementation in the student classroom showed the feasibility of the model syntax with an average observation score of 87.4%, with the Open and Share phases being the most consistent. In the context of modern education, performance assessment is a crucial instrument for measuring the effectiveness of the learning process. Unlike test-based assessments that generally focus on cognitive aspects, performance assessment highlights students' abilities in applying the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they have learned in various real situations. This is very relevant to the multidimensional characteristics of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, including cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitudes and values), and psychomotor (practice of worship and skills) aspects. This study aims to: 1) To determine the concept and implementation of performance assessment in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. 2) To identify the types of performance assessments that are relevant and can be applied effectively in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. 3) To examine the effectiveness of implementing performance assessments in improving understanding, practice, and character building. This study uses a qualitative approach with the model used being library research. The results of the study indicate that performance assessment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is a form of authentic evaluation that is very important to be applied in the learning process. Unlike traditional assessments, which emphasize cognitive aspects, performance assessments provide balanced attention to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. These assessments assess not only what students know, but also who they become. Therefore, it is crucial for teachers and educational institutions to optimally integrate performance assessments to shape a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually and socially mature.
