Wewewa Timur District is an administrative area in Southwest Sumba Regency that has great potential to improve the quality of public services. However, in practice, services at the sub-district level are still faced with various obstacles, such as slow administrative processes, manual data recording, and lack of coordination between service departments. This makes it difficult for government officials to cause problems and has a direct impact on public satisfaction as service recipients. As a solution, the development of a Web-Based Integrated Service Information System is the right step to address community needs and support government performance in Wewewa Timur District. Through this system, the public can access various services on a single digital platform without having to come directly to the sub-district office, and helps officials in accelerating administrative processes. This study uses a software engineering approach to design and implement a Web-Based Integrated Service Information System in Wewewa Timur District. The method used is the Waterfall method, which is a classic method in software engineering with sequential and systematic stages, from needs analysis to system maintenance. Test results using the black box method showed that the software could identify malfunctioning functions, interface errors, data structure errors, and access to external databases, while also producing expected output. Therefore, this system is considered effective in improving the quality of public services in Wewewa Timur District.

English speaking skill is a crucial competence for university students, particularly those involved in student organizations focusing on language development. Members of English clubs are expected to actively use English in academic and organizational contexts; however, many still face challenges related to pronunciation accuracy, fluency, limited active vocabulary, and low confidence. These challenges are often caused by limited structured speaking practice and insufficient integration between digital learning tools and communicative pedagogy. This community service program aimed to enhance the English-speaking skills of members of the Bhamada English Club at Universitas Bhamada Slawi through the utilization of the Duolingo application integrated with a Task-Based Learning (TBL) approach. The program was implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included needs analysis, speaking pre-test, guided Duolingo practice focusing on pronunciation and speaking features, task-based speaking activities, and post-test evaluation. The results demonstrated improvements in pronunciation accuracy, speaking fluency, and participants’ confidence in using English orally. The integration of Duolingo as a source of comprehensible input and Task-Based Learning as a communicative output strategy proved effective in enhancing speaking skills. This program indicates that technology-supported task-based instruction can serve as an effective and sustainable model for improving English speaking skills among university students.

The development of bioinformatics has led to the availability of large amounts of genetic data through public databases such as NCBI Gene, OMIM, and Ensembl. However, the complexity of data presentation and the dominance of English language hinder students, novice researchers, and the general public in understanding the relationship between genes and disease. This research aims to develop a simple web-based information system to identify disease-causing genes with concise, Indonesian-language, and user-friendly information presentation. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes literature study, needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The system was developed using a MySQL relational database with a web interface that displays basic gene information, chromosome location, biological function, and gene-disease relationships, complete with simple visualizations. Black Box testing results indicate that all main functions run according to user requirements. This system is expected to improve bioinformatics literacy and become an effective learning medium.

Moral learning in junior high schools often faces challenges in improving the understanding and application of moral values in everyday life, especially in the material of Trustworthiness and Honesty. This paper is intended to explain the design of the Problem-based learning (PBL) learning method as an innovation in moral learning of the material of Trustworthiness and Honesty in class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Panarukan, which is expected to improve students' understanding through a more contextual, active, and applicable learning experience. The PBL method allows students to analyze real problems related to Trustworthiness and Honesty, develop solutions, and reflect on the application of these values in everyday life. This learning design method adopts two stages of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, namely the needs analysis stage and the learning design stage. The results of the study indicate that the need for moral learning in class VIII of junior high school includes the importance of more interactive and problem-based methods, which can bridge the gap between moral theory and its application in real life. This PBL learning design integrates case studies, group discussions, and reflection to create meaningful learning experiences related to the values of Trustworthiness and Honesty. Although this design has considered various pedagogical and contextual aspects, the method is still in the design stage and has not been directly implemented or evaluated. Therefore, further research is needed to test the effectiveness of the PBL method in the context of moral learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Panarukan.
