This study aims to examine the consumer behavior of teenagers in pagerbarang village in using ShopeePay and analyze it from the perspective of Islamic consumption ethics. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with twenty teenagers selected using the snowball sampling technique. The results indicate that consumer behavior is influenced by discounts, promotions, transaction convenience, and social pressure. Teenagers tend to make impulsive purchases driven by emotional needs and low financial literacy. From the perspective of Islamic consumption ethics, such behavior contradicts the principles of moderation (qanâ’ah) and prohibition of extravagance (israf). Teenagers often overlook these values due to social and technological influences that facilitate easy transactions. Therefore, increasing awareness of financial literacy and religious values is crucial to fostering more prudent consumer behavior.

The relationship between Islam and democracy has been a complex and often debated topic, particularly in Muslim-majority countries. This research aims to explore the compatibility between Islamic principles and democratic values using Indonesia as a case study. As one of the largest Muslim countries in the world, Indonesia offers a unique context in integrating religious teachings with the modern democratic system. Through qualitative methods that included a Google Form-based survey and a literature review of academic articles and journals, this research found that the majority of respondents (70%) believe that democratic values are in line with Islamic teachings, such as justice, deliberation and equality. However, the research also identified a number of challenges that Indonesia faces in harmonizing the two concepts. The main challenges include differences in the interpretation of Islamic law, difficulties in balancing sharia law with secular law, and the issue of political pluralism. In addition, factors such as intolerance, radicalism and identity politics often become obstacles in creating harmony between religious and democratic values. Despite these obstacles, Indonesia has made significant progress through moderation, strengthening civil society, and successfully managing religious and cultural diversity. Local traditions such as deliberation, gotong royong and pluralism provide a strong foundation for building an inclusive democratic system. This approach is not only relevant for the Indonesian context, but can also serve as a model for other Muslim-majority countries seeking to integrate religion and democracy. This research offers a new contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between Islam and democracy, and highlights the importance of civil society strengthening, pluralism education, and the adaptation of religious values in the context of modern democracy. With the results obtained, this research is expected to be a reference for other Muslim countries in creating harmonious and sustainable political governance.

Islamic education has a strategic role in shaping the character of students who are able to live harmoniously in a multicultural society. Islamic values such as tolerance, mutual respect and cooperation must be taught to promote harmony amidst cultural, ethnic and religious differences. Although Islamic teachings support inclusivity and respect for diversity, its practice is often faced with challenges. Therefore, an Islamic education approach with a multicultural perspective is needed to teach students to understand that differences are God's decree and must be seen as a social force. This educational concept needs to prioritize human values, moderation and openness, as well as integrating diversity in learning. Through education that emphasizes multiculturalism, it is hoped that a generation that not only adheres to religion but is also able to maintain social harmony can be formed. This research also identifies challenges in implementing multicultural education in Islamic schools and offers strategies to overcome these obstacles.

This study aims to examine the factors affecting the use behavior of the Flip.id application using the UTAUT2 framework. The results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence positively affect behavioral intention. Meanwhile, facilitating conditions and behavioral intention positively influence use behavior. The study found that facilitating conditions and performance expectancy are the strongest antecedents in this research. The findings also reveal a negative effect of hedonic motivation on behavioral intention, while price value does not influence behavioral intention to use the Flip.id application. The moderation testing of experience on facilitating conditions and hedonic motivation shows a positive relationship. However, perceived credibility does not moderate the relationship between behavioral intention and use behavior. Based on the findings, it is evident that the ease of application use, adequate facilities, usefulness, and recommendations play crucial roles in increasing behavioral intention. Conversely, emotional and financial aspects do not demonstrate significant importance for users. This study provides implications for Flip application developers to enhance functional features, user education, and other facilities that support transaction processes within the application.

Reflection : Islamic Education Journal 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia

From a religious perspective, diversity is God's gift and will; If God wills, it is certainly not difficult to make His servants uniform and of one type. But He really wants humanity to be diverse, into tribes and nations, with the aim of life being dynamic, learning from each other, and getting to know each other. So, isn't diversity very beautiful? Grateful for the diversity of the Indonesian nation. Apart from diverse religions and beliefs, within each religion there are also diverse interpretations of religious teachings, especially when it comes to religious practices and rituals. Generally, each interpretation of religious teachings has adherents who admit and believe in the truth of the interpretation they practice. The problem is, why do people divide and claim the truth from each other even though the basis is only from religious interpretations. Mutual claims to truth actually announce untruths. If mutual claims to truth are used as a basis for legitimizing divisions on the basis of religious truth, it is very dangerous in the future life of the nation. Religious moderation is a way that can be used as a link to unite those who are divided due to religious interpretations.

This study examines the effectiveness of three integration-interconnection models in Islamic Religious Education (PAI): the Tree of Knowledge Model, the Spider Web Model, and the Twin Towers Model. These models are designed to bridge religious knowledge and general sciences, enriching a holistic approach in Islamic education. The Tree of Knowledge Model positions religious values as the ethical foundation for all disciplines, integrating faith as the basis for understanding general knowledge. The Spider Web Model envisions education as an interconnected, interdisciplinary network, enhancing students' ability to perceive connections across various fields. The Twin Towers Model balances the roles of religious and general sciences, promoting moderation and openness among students. The study findings suggest that these models help reduce the dichotomy between religious and secular sciences and assist students in developing a comprehensive and relevant understanding of both disciplines. The study recommends adopting these models into the PAI curriculum, providing comprehensive teacher training, and developing integrated learning modules to prepare Islamic education students to face contemporary social and scientific challenges with critical thinking and a strong ethical foundation.

The flash floods and landslides in Central Aceh Regency are hydrometeorological disasters resulting from the interaction between natural factors and environmental conditions, such as extreme rainfall and declining ecological capacity due to land-use changes. In this context, community service activities conducted by law students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara function not only as humanitarian responses but also as a medium for social learning in internalizing the values of religious moderation based on local wisdom. This study aims to examine the role of students in disaster response and how these values are internalized through interactions with the Gayo community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-participatory design. Data were collected through participatory observation, informal interviews, and documentation during activities in disaster-affected areas, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that these activities contributed to both physical recovery and social-psychological support, including trauma healing. Local wisdom values such as deliberation, mutual cooperation, and social solidarity act as social capital in strengthening community resilience and reflect religious moderation in daily life. Overall, this approach integrates academic knowledge, humanitarian values, and religious moderation while fostering students’ social awareness, empathy, and commitment
