This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Nurul Ittihad, Jambi City. Critical thinking skills are very important for students to face challenges in the modern era, so appropriate learning strategies are needed to develop them. This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of a guided inquiry learning model in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with reference to the Kemmis and McTaggart model which includes four stages, namely planning, implementation and observation, reflection, and re-planning. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. Data were collected using documentation, tests, interviews, and observations to measure the increase in student engagement, teacher activity, and learning outcomes that reflect critical thinking skills. The results showed a significant increase in several indicators. Student engagement increased from 87% in cycle I to 92% in cycle II. Teacher activity also increased from 71% in cycle I to 83% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the percentage of students achieving learning mastery increased sharply, from 21% before the intervention to 68% in Cycle I, and 89% in Cycle II. These findings indicate that the implementation of the guided inquiry model can actively and purposefully improve students' critical thinking skills. This model effectively encourages students to become more involved in the learning process, ask questions, explore information, and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Through literature analysis, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning paradigm in teaching science at the primary school level. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, characterized by a literature review that analyzes various publications related to the implementation of the guided inquiry model. The results of the analysis show that the inquiry learning approach is effective for increasing student learning achievement, improving science processes, and increasing student learning motivation in science subjects. This model facilitates students to be actively involved in the learning process while still receiving direction from the teacher. The results of this study indicate that a directed inquiry learning model can serve as an effective alternative for science learning in primary schools.

The issue faced in current learning is that it is still teacher-centered, which leads to low student interest and motivation in learning. Additionally, students' attention during lessons is lacking, and they tend to get bored, resulting in poor learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model assisted by the Google Lens application to improve the science learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP PGRI POOPO. The subjects of this study were 39 seventh-grade students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research utilized a classroom action research method in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in student learning achievement. The classical completeness percentage in Cycle I was 52.63%, while in Cycle II, it increased to 84.21%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that implementing the Guided Inquiry learning model supported by the Google Lens application can improve science learning outcomes for seventh-grade students at SMP PGRI POOPO. This model is expected to make students more active, interested, and motivated in learning, leading to better learning outcomes.

This study aims to develop an inquiry-based e-module as a teaching material for ecosystem topics for tenth-grade high school students. The e-module is designed to enhance student engagement in learning and foster critical thinking skills. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using Sugiyono’s development model. Validation was conducted by subject matter experts, language experts, and media experts, yielding results of 86%, 93.33%, and 94.54%, respectively, all categorized as highly feasible. Practicality tests by teachers resulted in a score of 93.75%, while student practicality surveys reached 95.4%, indicating that the e-module is highly suitable for learning. The critical thinking skills test showed an overall student score average of 77.25%, classified as high. This e-module offers several advantages, including ease of access, an engaging design, and interactive content incorporating text, images, videos, and exercises. However, challenges in its implementation include limited technological access in some schools. Overall, the inquiry-based e-module is considered effective and ready for use as an alternative teaching material for ecosystem learning in high schools.

This article provides an explanation of how the use of LKPD using the guided inquiry learning model to train the science process skills of class X students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. By using guided inquiry LKPD, it allows students to learn actively and be able to practice their science process skills. Students can improve their ability to observe, interpret observations, predict, apply concepts, communicate and ask questions. These are indicators that can be trained in science process skills. Data were collected through several techniques, including literature review and classroom observation. All data obtained in this article are based on the results of literature reviews and observations that have been made at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The use of Guided Inquiry LKPD is expected to train students' science process skills, especially in science learning. The findings of this research include; lack of supporting learning media, such as infocus and speakers and inadequate networks that disrupt the learning process. The results showed that students' science process skills were well trained.

This research is development research which aims to develop a learning E-Module using a guided inquiry model in reaction rate material to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the E-Module. The development model used in this research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This E-module has gone through a validation stage by validators/experts and has gone through food trials, resulting in an E-Module that is valid, practical and effective. The results of the research are 1) E-Module validity assessment by material experts obtained a score of 0.77% in the medium validity category, and media experts obtained a score of 0.81% in the high validity category; 2) the assessment of the practicality of the e-module in student responses obtained a score of 83.75% and teachers who obtained a score of 94.64% were categorized as very practical; 3) The assessment of the effectiveness of the E-Module was seen from the learning results test on 20 students and received a score of 94% so it was categorized as very effective. The conclusion is that the development of a learning E-Module using a guided inquiry model in reaction rate material is valid, practical and effective for use in learning.

. This research aims to determine the effect of an environmentally based guided inquiry model on students' science process skills. Quasi Experimental research was conducted with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design- nonequivalent control group. Saturated sampling technique was used to determine the treatment class, namely class VA as the control class and class VB as the experimental class. Data collection was carried out using a written test in the form of short answer questions. For the data results obtained by the experimental class, the average pre-test score was 56 and the post-test score was 70. Meanwhile, the data results obtained by the control class had an average pre-test score of 52 and post-test score 58. Based on statistical tests using the SPSS test. effect size (ES), probability value (significance) is 0.89, so the Ho hypothesis is rejected, meaning the guided inquiry model has a significant effect on students' Science Process Skills.
