Local wisdom, particularly traditional snacks, constitutes an essential part of national cultural identity that needs to be introduced from an early age. However, observations at SDN 1 Tanggungharjo revealed that students' understanding of traditional snacks remains low, compounded by a lack of contextual and engaging visual learning media. This study aims to design an illustrated book titled "Belajar Jajanan Tradisional" (Learning Traditional Snacks) as a local wisdom-based educational medium for grades 3–6 students at SDN 1 Tanggungharjo. The Design Thinking method was employed through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data were collected through direct observation, teacher interviews, and student questionnaires. The outcome is a 20-page digital illustrated book in A5 PDF format covering four traditional snacks — klepon, dadar gulung, apem, and kue lapis — with content encompassing their origins, philosophy, cultural values, ingredients, and preparation processes. The applied design elements include character personification, vector cartoon style, bright color palettes based on the snacks' natural colors, rounded sans-serif typography, and a charactercentered layout tailored to the cognitive characteristics of students aged 9–12 years. Trial results demonstrated that the illustrated book effectively enhanced students' understanding of and interest in traditional snacks, while receiving positive feedback from teachers as a contextual and meaningful supplementary medium for thematic learning.

This study examines the emergence of localized English expressions in Indonesian social media discourse, highlighting how English is adapted and reinterpreted in multilingual digital contexts. While previous studies on English in Indonesia have primarily focused on formal domains such as education and language policy, limited attention has been given to informal online communication where linguistic innovation is highly visible. This study aims to analyze how English lexical items are re-semanticized and creatively transformed by Indonesian users on social media platforms. The study employed a qualitative approach using data collected from Instagram posts and comments, focusing on selected examples of English-derived expressions such as boba, gas, voucher, server, and suamiable. The analysis compares the conventional meanings of these terms in Inner Circle English with their localized meanings in Indonesian usage. The findings reveal that English functions as a flexible linguistic resource, undergoing processes of semantic shift, metaphorical extension, and lexical blending. These localized forms reflect users’ creativity as well as their ability to adapt global linguistic resources to local cultural contexts. The study concludes that English in Indonesian social media is not merely borrowed but actively reconstructed, contributing to the dynamic development of English in the Expanding Circle.

The development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed the field of education. Teachers no longer depend only on lectures to deliver learning materials but also use various learning media to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. One of the most widely used innovations is interactive learning media, which combines text, images, audio, video, and other interactive features to support student learning. Interactive learning media can create a more engaging and enjoyable learning environment. Through this media, students actively participate in learning activities rather than simply receiving information passively. As a result, their attention, motivation, and understanding of the learning materials can improve. However, low student learning outcomes remain a challenge in education. Limited student involvement in the learning process often affects their ability to understand lessons and achieve learning objectives. Previous studies have indicated that interactive learning media can enhance both the quality of learning and student achievement. Therefore, examining the influence of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes is important to support the development of more effective, innovative, and technology-based learning processes in the digital era.

This study aims to examine the strategic role of teachers in instilling anti-corruption educational values in elementary school (SD/MI) students in the digital era. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five SD/MI teachers in Karawang Regency conducted in May 2026. Findings reveal that all informants possess adequate conceptual understanding of anti-corruption education as a character-building process rather than mere knowledge transmission. Teachers perform three principal functions: as behavioral role models, value-based learning facilitators, and collaborative partners with families. Implemented strategies include exemplary conduct, habituation, cross-subject value integration, and utilization of digital media such as educational videos, animations, and interactive quizzes. However, implementation faces significant obstacles, including social media normalizing dishonest behavior, instant-gratification tendencies among students, and weak synergy between schools and family environments. This research affirms that successful internalization of anti-corruption values requires consistent teacher exemplarity, a conducive school ecosystem, robust digital literacy, and sustainable tri-center educational collaboration. Practical implications include the necessity of strengthening teachers' pedagogical competencies in designing character-based learning that is adaptive to the dynamics of the digital era.
