This study aims to examine how nepotism can manifest through the role of informal institutions and its influence on administrative integrity within the bureaucracy. The method used is literature analysis by examining various related scientific references, such as books, journal articles, and research, which are then analyzed descriptively and analytically through identification, classification, and data integration. The research findings indicate that nepotism does not only arise from weaknesses in the official system, but is also strongly influenced by the existence of informal institutions such as personal networks, social norms, and organizational culture. This practice tends to persist within a system because it gains social recognition, making it difficult to overcome solely with regulations. The consequences include a decline in employee professionalism, weak accountability, and erosion of administrative integrity, which impacts on reduced public trust in government institutions. The implications of this study indicate that a comprehensive approach is crucial in bureaucratic reform, through strengthening the official system and changing organizational cultural values ​​to produce transparent, accountable, and dignified government management.

The use of AI in today’s era has significantly expanded across various sectors of life, including the education sector. The use of AI in education is quite helpful in improving the quality of learning by providing innovative teaching materials, real-time feedback, and fostering student creativity; however, in practice, there are numerous instances of misuse of AI, such as for criminal activities. Such practices are clearly counterproductive to the learning process and threaten the quality of the nation’s future generations. The objective of this community service initiative is to deepen students’ understanding of AI from a legal perspective and to enhance the quality of learning. The methods employed include participatory-based education, encompassing lectures, Q&A sessions, and statements of commitment. The results of this community service initiative include an enhanced understanding of AI and its proper use. Additionally, students have committed to using AI ethically, in accordance with existing legal frameworks, and with a focus on improving the quality of learning without compromising their foundational and social skills, so that in the future they can compete effectively both nationally and internationally.

Christian leadership rooted in John 15:1 8 and 13 17 depicts Jesus as the true vine, where leaders, as branches, must abide (remain attached) in Him (Jesus Christ) to bear abundant fruit through divine vision, moral integrity, and passionate service. This analysis explores how the vine metaphor shapes a leadership model that depends on an intimate (attached) relationship with Christ, producing fruit in daily life and ministry. The relationship between the vine and the branches reflects the necessity for church leaders to rely on Christ for guidance, strength, and the ability to serve others effectively. The model emphasizes the importance of nurturing personal spiritual growth, cultivating virtues that align with God’s purpose, and fostering a ministry focused on service and integrity. These principles are relevant for Indonesian church leaders who are called to integrate their faith with contextual ministry. By examining the passage through exegesis and literature review, this article provides insights on developing a Christ centered approach to leadership.

Integrity is a fundamental value in realizing clean, transparent, and accountable public sector governance. Various integrity assessment instruments have been implemented in the public sector in Indonesia, such as the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Integrity Zone (ZI) by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), and IntoSAINT developed by INTOSAI. However, all three still have limitations. This study aims to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of these three instruments and develop an alternative assessment tool, the Integrity Assessment Tool (IAT), which can be an alternative choice to the integrity assessment model in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies and analysis of integrity policy documents, with a theoretical foundation of the OECD Integrity Framework and the Anti-Bribery Management System (SNI ISO 37001). The results show that the Integrity Assessment Tool is able to assess organizational integrity comprehensively and objectively through four main dimensions: history, performance, potential, and perception. This approach integrates quantitative, qualitative, and psychometric aspects to produce a more accurate and sustainable picture of the integrity position of public sector organizations. Theoretically, this research enriches the study of public sector integrity management, while practically, it provides guidance for government agencies in building a measurable, systematic, and sustainable integrity evaluation system as a basis for establishing a national model for integrity assessment.

Islamic leadership faces significant challenges related to personal integrity and institutional governance, requiring a comprehensive theoretical study to bridge these gaps. This research aims to examine the integration of prophetic values with system improvement to strengthen Islamic leadership in the modern context. The study employs a qualitative approach based on literature review and textual analysis, exploring Islamic leadership theories, public administration practices, and historical experiences of Islamic civilization. The findings indicate that Islamic leadership becomes more effective when the personal integrity of leaders is aligned with adaptive, transparent, and accountable institutional systems. These results emphasize that system improvement is necessary to ensure moral values are not limited to individual practice but embedded within organizational governance and social institutions. The study also highlights the relevance of Islamic leadership in addressing the era of disruption, where synergy between prophetic character and institutional reform is essential for sustainability. The research recommends emphasizing the synergy between moral values and system improvement so that Islamic leadership can sustainably address social challenges while remaining relevant to modern demands and contemporary societal needs.

The rapid development of digital technology in the 21st century has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. One of the emerging innovations in the educational field is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to support the learning process. The integration of AI in history education offers new opportunities to create more interactive, adaptive, and contextual learning experiences through access to various digital historical sources. This study aims to analyze the integration of Artificial Intelligence in history learning and its implications for improving students’ digital historical literacy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method through a literature study by reviewing various scientific articles related to the use of AI in education and digital literacy in history learning. The findings indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence can assist students in accessing, analyzing, and understanding various digital historical sources more broadly through interactive media such as online archives, historical simulations, and technology-based learning platforms. In addition, the integration of AI can increase student engagement in the learning process, encourage critical thinking skills, and support more personalized learning based on students’ needs and abilities. However, the implementation of this technology must be accompanied by the strengthening of digital historical literacy as well as the application of academic integrity, ethical principles, and responsible use of technology. Therefore, the proper integration of Artificial Intelligence can serve as an innovative strategy to enhance the quality of history education in the digital era.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of integrity and ethics among Civil Servants (ASN) in public service delivery at the 5 Ilir Subdistrict Office in Palembang City. The 5 Ilir area, which is located in an urban setting with high population density and dynamic socio-economic activities, requires subdistrict officials to provide fast, responsive, and citizen-oriented services. The study adopts a qualitative approach using purposive sampling, designating the Head of the Subdistrict as the key informant. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation of administrative service processes, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method to identify practices, values, and mechanisms related to the enforcement of integrity and ethics in public services. The results indicate that the implementation of integrity and ethics at the 5 Ilir Subdistrict Office is reflected in transparent standard operating procedures, an open queuing system, routine briefings, internal and external supervision mechanisms, and responsive leadership in addressing community issues, including the resolution of social conflicts and flood mitigation. The existence of a legal aid post further strengthens public access to justice. The enforcement of integrity is not merely normative but is systematically implemented through regulations, organizational culture, and oversight mechanisms. This study recommends strengthening the digitalization of public services as a strategy to enhance transparency, accountability, and service quality at the subdistrict level.

Auditors' compliance with the Public Accountant Professional Standards (SPAP) is the main concern in maintaining the quality and trust of the audit process, especially in the face of increasingly complicated audit tasks. This study aims to evaluate the level of integ-rity and skepticism of auditors in supporting compliance with SPAP. This study uses a de-scriptive qualitative approach with observation methods and document studies. The object of the research is the Public Accounting Firm Dra. Yati Ruhiyati, data was obtained from direct observation during the field professional practice period and analysis of relevant audit documents. The results of the study show that the integrity of auditors can be seen from consistency in carrying out audit stages, compliance with established procedures, and clarity in audit documents. The professional skepticism of auditors can be seen from the cautious attitude in evaluating audit evidence, including the application of additional checks before drawing conclusions. These findings show that compliance with SPAP is not only formal, but also highly dependent on the auditor's professional attitude. This study shows the importance of increasing the integrity and professional skepticism of auditors as part of efforts to improve quality and compliance in audit practices in Public Accounting Firms.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peningkatan kinerja pegawai sektor publik yang sering terkendala birokrasi, budaya organisasi hierarkis, dan regulasi ketat. Kepemimpinan autentik dan penyesuaian pekerjaan dipandang sebagai faktor yang dapat   memengaruhi kinerja pegawai baik secara langsung maupun melalui keterlibatan kerja. Kepemimpinan autentik berperan dalam menciptakan iklim kerja yang terbuka dan penuh integritas, sedangkan penyesuaian pekerjaan memberi ruang bagi pegawai menyesuaikan pekerjaan dengan kekuatan dan preferensi pribadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap 153 pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Pemalang. Instrumen berupa kuesioner berskala Likert yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) untuk menguji hubungan langsung maupun mediasi antar variabel berdasarkan teori JD-R, COR, dan Authentic Leadership. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat hipotesis diterima dan satu ditolak. Penyesuaian pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlibatan kerja dan kinerja pegawai, serta menjadi prediktor paling kuat bagi kinerja (β = 0,432). Kepemimpinan autentik berpengaruh positif terhadap keterlibatan kerja (β = 0,335), namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja (β = 0,120). Keterlibatan kerja terbukti memediasi sebagian hubungan penyesuaian pekerjaan dengan kinerja, tetapi tidak memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan autentik. Model penelitian mampu menjelaskan 44,2% varians keterlibatan kerja dan 60,8% varians kinerja pegawai. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya faktor individual seperti penyesuaian pekerjaan dibandingkan faktor kepemimpinan top-down dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di sektor publik. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini adalah perlunya organisasi pemerintah mengembangkan program penyesuaian pekerjaan, memperkuat keterlibatan kerja, serta membangun kepemimpinan autentik sebagai fondasi budaya kerja yang positif.

Meningkatnya ketergantungan pada sistem komunikasi digital telah memperkuat kebutuhan akan metode yang andal untuk melindungi data sensitif dari akses tidak sah. Studi ini memperkenalkan mekanisme keamanan terintegrasi yang menggabungkan enkripsi ChaCha20 dengan steganografi citra Least Significant Bit (LSB), yang menargetkan perlindungan data berbasis citra digital. ChaCha20, sebuah cipher aliran modern yang dikenal akan kecepatan dan keamanannya, digunakan untuk mengenkripsi pesan teks biasa (plaintext), menghasilkan ciphertext yang sangat aman. Data terenkripsi kemudian disematkan ke dalam citra sampul — khususnya, logo universitas — menggunakan teknik LSB, yang mengubah bit paling tidak signifikan dari nilai piksel untuk menyembunyikan informasi tanpa memengaruhi kualitas citra secara signifikan. Pendekatan dua lapis ini memastikan kerahasiaan dan penyembunyian informasi sensitif. Sistem ini dievaluasi menggunakan metrik objektif seperti Rasio Sinyal terhadap Derau Puncak (PSNR) dan Indeks Kesamaan Struktural (SSIM) untuk menilai fidelitas citra setelah penyisipan data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mempertahankan integritas visual (PSNR > 50 dB) sekaligus memungkinkan ekstraksi data yang akurat. Integrasi ChaCha20 dan steganografi LSB menawarkan solusi yang ringan, aman, dan efektif untuk perlindungan informasi digital, khususnya cocok untuk komunikasi akademis atau kelembagaan di mana gambar logo berfungsi sebagai pembawa konten terenkripsi yang tersembunyi.

The phenomenonoccurring in various universities shows an increase in cases of academic fraud, such as cheating, plagiarism, research data manipulation, and misuse of technology in the learning process. This behavior not only undermines academic integrity, but also has the potential tocreate a mindset of cheating that carries over into the workplace. Integrityis a fundamental value that forms the moral foundation of every aspect oflife, both in education and in the workplace. In the context of higher education, students are expected not only to excel academically,but also to possess honesty, responsibility, and strong professional ethics.Accountants are future professionals who will be directly involved inthe management and financial reporting of organizations. This profession demandsa very high level of honesty and integrity, because the accuracy andreliability of financial reports form the basis for business and public decision-making. However, in practice, there are many cases of accounting fraud, such as budget mark-ups, financial statement manipulation, creative accounting, and data misstatement, which occur due to weak values of integrity and moral responsibilityamong individuals. If dishonest behavior has already been established during college—for example, in the form of cheating, manipulating assignment data, or falsifying lab reports—then the risk of bringing similar habits into the workplace will be even higher. This study aims to analyze the influence of transactional leadership, servant leadership, and work integrity on employee performance at PT. Istana Argo Kartika (Sanken) Surabaya Branch. The research applies a quantitative approach with an associative design to examine the relationships among variables. The population consists of all permanent employees, and because the total number is limited, a saturated sampling technique was used so that every employee could serve as a respondent. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and later analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both partial and simultaneous effects. The findings reveal that transactional leadership, servant leadership, and work integrity each have a positive and significant impact on employee performance when tested individually. In addition, the combined influence of all three variables also shows a significant contribution to overall performance levels. These results suggest that firm direction, supportive service-oriented leadership, and strong adherence to integrity can effectively improve employee outcomes. Therefore, this study is expected to provide useful insights for management in designing leadership development programs and strengthening human resource strategies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kedudukan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) dalam perspektif norma dan konstitusi, mengidentifikasi penyebab krisis kepercayaan publik, serta menegaskan urgensi penguatan peran wakil rakyat dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan normatif-yuridis melalui telaah terhadap UUD 1945, peraturan perundang-undangan, literatur akademik, dan laporan survei kepercayaan publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa krisis kepercayaan publik terhadap DPR disebabkan oleh kesenjangan antara norma konstitusional yang menempatkan DPR sebagai representasi rakyat dan praktik politik yang terjadi. Untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut, DPR perlu memperkuat posisinya dengan menegakkan prinsip akuntabilitas, transparansi, dan integritas. Penguatan ini diperlukan guna memulihkan legitimasi publik, memperkuat kualitas demokrasi, dan memastikan DPR menjalankan fungsi konstitusionalnya secara optimal.

Penyebaran hoaks keagamaan di media sosial telah menciptakan tantangan serius terhadap narasi keagamaan yang sahih, menuntut peran krusial Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai garda terdepan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kompetensi profesional Guru PAI, menganalisis strategi mereka dalam merespons hoaks, dan merumuskan implikasi kebijakan pelatihan guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis konsep Kompetensi Guru PAI (Pedagogik, Sosial, Kepribadian) dan Literasi Media/Digital (KLM) untuk merumuskan model kompetensi ideal. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Guru PAI memerlukan rekonstruksi filosofis agar mampu menjadi pembimbing etika dan agen perubahan yang mengintegrasikan nilai Islam dengan teknologi. Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Sosial terbukti penting untuk edukasi anti-hoaks dan pembentukan etika digital, diperkuat oleh Integritas Personal dan KLM sebagai keterampilan inti untuk berpikir kritis dan menyaring informasi. Implikasi penelitian merekomendasikan prioritas pelatihan guru pada etika dan literasi digital, serta menyarankan penelitian mendatang untuk studi komparatif kuantitatif guna mengukur efektivitas program.

In the modern computing era, servers face significant challenges in data storage due to hardware failures, cyber attacks, or human errors. The problem highlighted focuses on the impact of file systems on three critical aspects: data integrity (accuracy and consistency of data without corruption), data recovery (the ability to restore data after a failure), and failure resilience (fault tolerance, such as redundancy and journaling to prevent downtime). The main issue is that traditional file systems like FAT32 or NTFS are often susceptible to fragmentation, metadata loss, or long recovery times, which can lead to data loss of up to 20-30% on enterprise servers, especially in high-traffic environments like cloud computing.A simple problem-solving process is conducted through a straightforward comparative analysis approach: (1) A literature review of popular file systems (ext4, ZFS, Btrfs); (2) Failure simulations using tools like fsck and stress testing on virtual servers (e.g., via KVM or Docker); and (3) Measuring performance metrics with benchmarking tools like Bonnie++ for I/O throughput, recovery time, and error rates. This process is designed to be simple, requiring only a virtual lab setup without expensive hardware, and is analyzed quantitatively with descriptive statistics.The solution to the problem indicates that advanced file systems like ZFS or Btrfs provide significant improvements: data integrity is up to 95% more secure through automatic checksums, data recovery is achieved in minutes through snapshots and RAID integration, and failure resilience is higher with copy-on-write features. The main recommendation is to migrate to journaling-based file systems for servers, combined with automated backups, which can reduce the risk of downtime by up to 50%. This research provides practical guidance for system administrators to enhance server reliability without excessive additional costs.

This research examines the paradox of Christian leader integrity in facing political polarization and group identity in Toraja society. The background of the problem is a contradictive phenomenon where Christian communities strongly emphasize ethical character of leaders, yet strong group identification can blind them to ethical inconsistencies of supported leaders, especially in the dynamics of regional and presidential elections that divide churches. This research aims to analyze the paradox of Christian leader integrity, identify psychological, theological, and sociological factors causing ethical blindness, and formulate leadership principles that can maintain integrity amid political pressure. Using qualitative descriptive methods based on literature study, this research collects data from leadership theology literature, group identity psychology, and empirical studies on political practices in Toraja Christian communities. Research findings show that the integrity paradox manifests in local political dynamics where ethical standards become loose when leaders come from the same identity group. Factors causing ethical blindness include in-group bias and cognitive dissonance (psychological), sacred-secular dualism and permissive interpretation (theological), as well as clan structure and conformity pressure (sociological). The formulated leadership principles include commitment to biblical standards, theology-based political education, transformative prophetic role, accountability systems, contextual leadership, and building mature faith communities. The implication is that this research provides theoretical contributions to the development of contextual leadership theology and practical recommendations for church leaders in navigating the complexity of identity politics. Research recommendations include developing theology-based political education programs in churches, building leadership accountability systems, and further empirical research to validate the conceptual framework that has been built.

This study aims to analyze the effect of audit quality and financial distress on the integrity of financial statements in financial and banking sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. The integrity of financial statements is a critical factor in maintaining stakeholders’ trust in the financial information presented by companies. A quantitative approach is used in this study, employing multiple linear regression analysis. Audit quality is measured using audit opinions (Unqualified and Non-Unqualified), while financial distress is assessed using the Z-score method. In this study, audit quality did not affect the integrity of financial reports, while financial distress did. Audit quality and financial did. Audit quality and financial distress jointly affected the integrity of financial reports.

Pendidikan karakter menjadi fondasi yang sangat penting dalam membentuk kepribadian anak usia dini. Masa ini, yang sering disebut sebagai periode emas perkembangan anak, merupakan waktu yang ideal untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan etika melalui pendidikan yang terintegrasi dalam lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang berlandaskan studi literatur untuk menganalisis pentingnya pendidikan karakter serta metode yang tepat dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter perlu melibatkan tiga aspek utama: moral knowing (pengetahuan moral), moral feeling (perasaan moral), dan moral doing (tindakan moral). Selain itu, pendidikan ini harus didukung oleh nilai-nilai religius, kejujuran, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreativitas, dan kemandirian. The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, particularly through the use of language models such as ChatGPT, has brought about significant changes in educational practices in Indonesia. The use of this technology has contributed to the creation of a more efficient learning process while enriching students' abilities to master and understand material more comprehensively. However, the use of AI in academic activities presents a number of problems, particularly related to scientific integrity, including an increased risk of digital plagiarism and a decline in critical thinking skills. In view of these developments, this study focuses on examining how the use of ChatGPT affects academic integrity and the quality of digital learning at UIN North Sumatra. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method, in which data is collected through interviews with five students from the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI) to gain a deeper understanding of their perceptions of the use of artificial intelligence in learning activities. The findings show that although ChatGPT provides convenience and efficiency in the learning process, students emphasize the importance of supervision and knowledge of ethics so that this technology can be used appropriately and responsibly. Therefore, universities need to strengthen digital literacy and ethics among students and increase supervision to ensure that the use of this technology does not compromise academic integrity. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of AI use on academic integrity in Islamic universities in Indonesia.

Tahapan seleksi anggota Panitia Pengawas Pemilu Kecamatan (Panwascam) memiliki peran penting dalam menjamin kualitas pengawasan pemilu di tingkat lokal. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dalam Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk menyusun proses seleksi yang objektif dan bebas dari konflik kepentingan. AHP digunakan karena kemampuannya dalam merancang hierarki keputusan, menentukan bobot kriteria dan subkriteria, serta memastikan konsistensi hasil. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan Bawaslu Kabupaten Brebes yang mengidentifikasi lima kriteria utama: integritas, kompetensi, pengalaman, kesehatan, dan netralitas politik, masing-masing terdiri dari tiga subkriteria. Penilaian terhadap kandidat menghasilkan calon A1 sebagai pilihan utama dengan bobot 0,41, disusul A2 dan A3. Analisis konsistensi menunjukkan nilai CR < 0,1, yang menandakan hasilnya valid dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.
