This study investigated the effect of genetic quality of local North Sumatra cattle on fattening efficiency. PCR and RFLP-based genetic analyses and fattening efficiency measurements through average daily growth (ADG) and feed conversion (FCR) were used. local cattle from Deli Serdang, Langkat, and Simalungun were used. The study showed that feed management involving the use of concentrate and high-quality forage can improve cattle fattening efficiency, and the IGF-1 gene plays a significant role in cattle growth. A strong correlation between fattening efficiency and genetic quality (r = 0.85) indicates the importance of genetic selection to improve productive local cattle. Based on these findings, it is recommended to implement molecular marker-based genetic selection programmes and improve feed management by diversifying local feed sources. In addition, it is necessary to improve farmer training on more efficient husbandry methods. This research provides policy suggestions that can be implemented to support the curiosity of the livestock industry in North Sumatra and improve the efficiency of local cattle production.

The husband's obligation to provide for his wife is one of the primary responsibilities in marriage, as regulated by various legal systems and religious values. However, challenges arise when a husband is in a state of economic poverty and unable to meet the family's basic needs. This article aims to explore how the concept of provision (nafkah) is applied in such situations from the perspectives of Islamic law, state law, and social norms. Based on a literature review, it is found that Islam provides flexibility for impoverished husbands to strive within their capacity, while emphasizing the importance of communication, mutual understanding, and cooperation between husband and wife. Furthermore, the responsibility to provide is not solely material but also includes emotional and spiritual aspects. This article also highlights the need for community and state support in creating social protection systems for impoverished families to ensure their welfare. Thus, the husband's responsibility to provide is not only viewed as an individual duty but also within the framework of collective responsibility.

His research discusses the influence of wives in earning a living on family welfare, where this research was made based on observations regarding wives who work to earn a living, who are the backbone of the family in order to meet all the needs of their respective households. The majority of the labor force for women always increases every year. Because of the big role that women play as housewives, most of them play a big role in the welfare of their families, from paying for housing, education and even food. The role of the husband as head of the household and the wife as a housewife must go hand in hand. The husband as head of the family is responsible for earning a living for the welfare of the family. On the other hand, as a housewife, the wife must have creativity in managing the family economy. And what needs to be understood is that in the household each husband and wife have their own roles. So that general conclusions can be drawn, namely: a. The husband is obliged to provide his wife with shelter and other support. b.  The wife must follow her husband and live at her husband's place.  The amount of maintenance obligations depends on the husband's discretion.  So providing maintenance is based on the husband's ability, not the wife's request. Families are formed through the marriage process. Marriage is a pattern of behavior created by God for regeneration in the development of human life in a world that is always dynamic in accordance with the times. With marriage, a life together in the household is formed. The journey of a household is like an ark that sails across the vast ocean and goes through a long journey where winds and storms will definitely come which will become obstacles on the journey.Recently, the reality is that many households find it difficult to realize the goal of marriage. Many households are unhappy due to various problems such as disharmony, economics, infidelity and so on. It is often found in household life that husband and wife complain and complain to other people or to their family, as a result of not fulfilling the rights that must be obtained or not carrying out obligations from one of the parties. Lack of understanding and even ignorance of husband and wife regarding the rights and obligations in the household is often be the cause of disharmony and rifts in the household. In order to achieve a good household, individuals in the household should know each other, understand and carry out their respective rights and obligations.

Indonesia, based on natural resource potential, has great potential to achieve beef self-sufficiency. The contribution of this sector is not only limited to meeting food needs in the form of beef, but also includes economic aspects such as providing employment opportunities, industrial raw materials, and increasing the income of local farmers. This shows that the development of this sector has great potential in supporting food security and improving community welfare. Therefore, research was conducted on performance indicators that could influence the performance of the cattle farming sector in Indonesia in 2022 using cluster analysis. Cluster analysis is a statistical method that identifies groups of samples based on similar characteristics. Cluster analysis has two methods, namely hierarchical and non-hierarchical. This research focuses on classifying regions in Indonesia into groups based on similar characteristics. In this research, cluster analysis assumptions will be tested, namely the multivariate normal distribution test, conducting cluster analysis using hierarchical and non-hierarchical methods, characterizing the data in each cluster, then drawing conclusions and suggestions from the research results. Based on the research results obtained on data characteristics, it was found that variables tend to have a variety of data. Hierarchical cluster analysis uses the single linkage method which has an optimum number of clusters of 4. The highest number of cluster members is in cluster 1. Then cluster 1 shows the highest performance in the cattle farming sector. In non-hierarchical cluster analysis using the k-means method which has an optimum number of clusters of 5. The highest number of cluster members is in cluster 4. Then clusters 2, 3 and 4 show higher performance in the cattle farming sector compared to clusters 1 and 5 .

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a major nutritional challenge in Indonesia, including in Bukittinggi. Despite proper health service utilization, the burden of CED is relatively high and has a non-economic component that includes cultural and family social support.  The influence of the husband on the nutritional status of pregnant women is frequently overlooked by prevention and control strategies. This study sought to investigate husbands' thoughts and roles in the prevention of  CED  in pregnant women in  Bukittinggi.  The present study employed a qualitative phenomenological research design including 15 husbands of pregnant women (experienced and non-experienced  CED)  and  5–7  triangulation informants  (pregnant women and health workers).  Semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observations provided the data, while  NVivo  12  was employed for thematic analysis. Source triangulation and member checking validate the data. The results indicate that the majority of husbands do not understand CED scientifically and view their support solely as financial assistance. Although emotional and informational motivations can affect positive nutritional behaviors, they are still regarded as weaknesses. Among the external barriers are costs, long hours of work, and a patriarchal culture that severely restricts husbands' ability to be involved in their wives' nutritional problems. However, some informants have indicated a value shift that prioritizes emotional involvement over intellectual focus.  The  intervention strategies for future implementation should be family-based with a primary focus on couples' nutrition education, emotional  strengthening,  and  the  inclusion  of  males  in  maternal  health  programs  (e.g.,  paternity-readiness sessions

This research discusses the wife's right to support after polygamy from the perspective of legal protection. Marriage is a sacred thing that gives rise to rights and obligations for husband and wife, one of which is the husband's obligation to provide support for his wife. However, in practice, there are still cases where the legal wife does not receive support from her husband after the husband commits polygamy. This shows that there are problems in fulfilling the wife's right to support after polygamy. This research aims to analyze the legal protection of legal wives' rights to support after polygamy. The research method used is an empirical method with a statutory and case approach, and uses observation and interview data collection techniques. The research results show that legal protection for legal wives' rights to support after polygamy is inadequate, both in the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law.

The rapid development of technology increases the need for effective and efficient information. Information that is not managed properly loses value, especially when large amounts of data are available, making conventional methods no longer adequate to analyze the potential of the data. Therefore, a system capable of analyzing, summarizing, and extracting data into useful information is required. The Department of Agriculture and Food Security, as an agency that handles food security, agriculture, animal husbandry, animal health, and fisheries, is responsible for supporting the increase in agricultural yields to meet the food needs of the population and encourage economic growth. To achieve this goal, the agency needs to utilize technology to process agricultural data quickly and accurately. The system built using the apriori method can analyze data efficiently and provide recommendations for increasing agricultural yields. Based on the test results, a support value of 9% and a confidence of 68% were obtained, with the rule If the crop is Cassava, then the production yield is 6000-8000 tons.

According to data collected from Midwifery Clinician Tri Utami Sari S.SiT Manyaran Semarang in 2022, injectable contraceptive users ranked first when compared to those using pills, condoms, IUDs, and implants. However, the use of 1-month injections is more common than 3-month injections. One of the factors is that the Fertile Spouse knowledge about 3 months of injectable contraception is still low, and the lack of support of the husband. This matter means that the use of 3 months of injective contraception is still small, approximately 300 of the 1240 participants. This cross-sectional study determined the correlation between a mother's knowledge and the use of a one-month injectable contraception. The study's population included a woman of fertile age who received a 1-month injectable contraception at the Midwifery Clinician Tri Utami Sari, S.SiT Manyaran. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique to gather a sample of 50 respondents. The Spearman rank correlation test found a p-value of less than 0.029, indicating no correlation between mother knowledge and one-month injectable contraception at Midwifery Clinician Tri Utami Sari S.SiT Semarang in the year 2023.

Divorce represents the dissolution of the marital bond between husband and wife within a household. Divorce can only occur when there are strong reasons justifying the decision. One reason that can lead to divorce, according to the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), is due to one party's addiction to gambling. This is reflected in the Batam Religious Court Decision Number 150/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Batam. This study aims to understand and analyze gambling as a reason for divorce, as well as the legal protection for the wife in a divorce caused by her husband's gambling addiction, based on the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This research employs a normative juridical approach with descriptive analytical specifications. The research methods used in this study include library research and field research through interviews. The data analysis method employed is qualitative juridical analysis. The research results indicate that, first, the lawsuit in the Batam Religious Court Decision Number 150/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Batam is in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 letter a of the Government Regulation on the Implementation of the Marriage Law in conjunction with Article 116 letter a of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). Second, as a preventive measure to protect the rights of the wife and children in a divorce caused by gambling addiction, the wife can include claims regarding custody and support for herself in the divorce petition.
