The integration of Islamic education into a nation’s educational system represents a strategic effort to align religious and national educational objectives under a unified policy framework. In many Muslim-majority countries, the responsibility for managing Islamic education is delegated to local governments as part of a broader national consensus involving various educational stakeholders. This arrangement, however, often raises tensions because education policy is inherently a political decision influenced by state interests and ideological considerations. The process of incorporating Islamic education within the national system reflects the dynamic interplay between religion and politics, where Islamic education both shapes and is shaped by political structures. This study explores how political power affects the development, autonomy, and implementation of Islamic education policies. The objective is to highlight the challenges of maintaining educational freedom and religious authenticity while ensuring state oversight and quality assurance. The findings emphasize that a deep understanding of educational politics enables Muslim educators and policymakers to advocate for Islamic education that aligns with Islamic principles yet remains relevant within the national educational framework. Therefore, the balance between state control and institutional independence is essential in realizing the holistic goals of Islamic education in contemporary society.

The phenomenon of childfree has become an increasingly discussed topic in Indonesian society, especially after public figures like Gita Savitri openly expressed their decision not to have children. This phenomenon is related to various factors, including past trauma, concerns over overpopulation, economic instability, and the evolving mindset of Generation Z, which is more realistic and focused on personal freedom. However, the decision not to have children also presents challenges, especially from a religious perspective, particularly Islam, which teaches that having offspring is both a blessing and an obligation. This research aims to analyze the childfree phenomenon from an Islamic perspective by examining the principles of Sharia and the relevance of childfree to fiqh rulings such as ‘azl. The research findings indicate that while childfree contradicts religious views on the obligation to have children, the phenomenon can still be understood within the framework of reproductive rights granted to married couples in Islam. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the childfree phenomenon and its relationship with Islamic principles.

This Abstract Outlines The Historical Role Of The Christian Church In Governance, Especially In The Western World. From Its Early Development, The Church Wielded Considerable Influence Over Social And Political Affairs, Particularly After Christianity Became The Official Religion Of The Roman Empire In The 4th Century. Beyond Its Religious Duties, The Church Served As A Powerful Social, Moral, And Legal Authority In Medieval Europe. Through Canon Law, It Governed Various Facets Of Societal Life, Including Marriage, Inheritance, And Social Norms, And Validated The Power Of Rulers Through The “Divine Right” Doctrine. However, The Protestant Reformation Of The 16th Century Marked A Major Shift, Promoting A Separation Of Church And State That Influenced The Rise Of Secular Governance Systems. The Protestant Church Championed Religious Freedom And Individual Autonomy, Foundations For Modern Pluralism And Democracy. In The Contemporary Era, While The Church’s Formal Governance Role Has Declined, It Remains A Moral Voice, Particularly On Social Issues, Justice, And Human Rights. This Study Concludes That The Church's Role In Governance Has Evolved From A Political And Legal Authority To A More Inclusive Moral And Social Role In A Progressively Secular Society.

The Protestant Reformation, initiated by Martin Luther in the 16th century, was a pivotal event in Christian history that shook the structure of the Catholic Church and had a profound impact on many aspects of life. This movement arose from dissatisfaction with church practices believed to be in conflict with Biblical teachings, such as the sale of indulgences. Through his 95 Theses, Luther emphasized that salvation could only be achieved through faith (sola fide) and that the Bible was the sole source of authority (sola scriptura). These teachings led to a split between the Catholic Church and Protestantism, sparking a broader theological reformation across Europe. Beyond its theological influence, the Protestant Reformation also brought about significant social, political, and cultural changes. Luther's teachings on the importance of education and literacy encouraged the translation of the Bible into local languages, allowing the faithful to access the Scriptures directly. The Reformation also introduced the concept of religious freedom and reshaped the relationship between church and state, with several countries adopting Protestantism as their official religion. Overall, the Protestant Reformation not only transformed the church's structure but also had a major impact on the development of Western social and political systems, creating new concepts of individual freedom and religious authority.

This type of research is qualitative research and aims to provide an understanding of salvation in John 3:16 and God's promise of salvation to every believer. Salvation comes from the Greek word 'sozo' which means to save, liberate, preserve, preserve and heal. When related to humans, salvation is healing from death or maintaining life. Where the first humans created by God were Adam and Eve in a holy state without sin. Humans were created by God to be given the freedom to choose what is good and what is bad. But humans choose the wrong path so that humans' relationship with God is severed and spiritually they experience death. For this reason, salvation is needed by humans who have experienced spiritual death. And salvation is received by everyone because of grace and it is God's action to make humans receive eternal life again. This research also examines the eternal nature of salvation for believers, as well as how God's promise of salvation brings hope and certainty to His people. In conclusion, John 3:16 offers a view of salvation as God's eternal gift, given to every believer in Jesus Christ and is the basis for Christian faith in God's redemptive love.

Education is an important foundation for individual and societal development. Education systems in various countries have unique characteristics that reflect their values, history and socio-economic needs. In a global context, the education systems in the United States and Germany are examples of two very different but equally influential approaches in shaping the future of their young generation. Education in the United States is known for its diverse and flexible system. The country has adopted a decentralized model, in which educational responsibility rests largely with states and school districts. Curriculum often varies from region to region, giving freedom to adapt course material to local needs. This system also prioritizes the principle of inclusion, with various programs that support diversity and access to education for all students, including those with special needs. High schools offer a variety of educational pathways, including academic, vocational, and arts pathways, giving students the freedom to choose according to their interests and talents. Education in Germany is famous for its structured system and focus on early specialization. After completing basic education, students in Germany follow different educational paths according to their abilities and interests, through a system known as, Realschule or Gymnasium. Vocational education is also receiving great attention in Germany, with many students following a dual system that combines practical training in the workplace with theoretical education at school. This system aims to ensure that students gain skills relevant to the needs of the job market and facilitate a smooth transition from education to the world of work. With these differences in approach, each country offers valuable insight into how education can be organized to meet social and economic goals. Comparative analysis between these two systems can provide insight into the strengths and challenges of each model, as well as the potential for implementing best practices in a global educational context.

The tahlili method is one of the important approaches in Qur'anic interpretation that emphasizes a very intensive analysis of the holy verses of the Qur'an. This study aims to explore the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of the tahlili method and its application in the context of Qur'anic interpretation. By using a qualitative approach and library research, data is collected through a review of relevant literature, both from printed and electronic sources. The results show that the tahlili method, which was first applied in the third period after Tabi'in, has the ability to convey the messages of the Qur'an in a concise and global manner, so that it is easily understood by Muslims. This method also has systematic steps, which include describing the verses of the Qur'an and explaining the meaning of vocabulary according to the rules of Arabic, including general analysis and selection of diction that reflects the Qur'anic lafaz. Although this method has advantages in terms of clarity and freedom from the influence of interpretation, there are also weaknesses that need to be considered, such as parcial instructions and the potential for ineffective interpretation. The author hopes that this research can help contribute to the understanding of the tahlili method and improve a more effective and applicable way of interpreting the Qur'an.

This research analyzes legal smuggling related to the principle of freedom of contract reflected in Book III of the Civil Code. The parties are free to draft any clause based on an agreement. However, it cannot be denied that the principle of freedom of contract is often misused to commit legal smuggling in agreements, which makes the deal seem legally valid, even though there are mixed legal provisions, thus causing irregularities and losses for parties who are in a weak position. This research method uses normative legal research by examining library materials with legal materials, such as laws and regulations, books, legal journals, and legal articles. The results of this study indicate that the actions taken by the dominant party, in this case, fulfill the elements of legal smuggling which also intersect with the act of abuse of circumstances, thus forming a tort committed by the dominant party in the agreement.

This article discusses the concept of social interaction in Islam, particularly in the context of relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims. Islam teaches values of ukhuwah (brotherhood), tolerance, and justice in interactions with fellow human beings, both within Muslim communities and with those of different beliefs. The central principle taught in Islam is that there is no compulsion in religion (la ikraha fid-din), as religion is a personal choice and belief that cannot be forced. In the context of dialogue or debate with non-Muslims, Islam emphasizes the importance of good manners, politeness, and gentleness, so that debates or discussions can lead to the mutual discovery of truth without insulting or belittling others. Thabathabai’s interpretation explains that debating with non-Muslims should be done constructively, without containing any errors, flaws, or insults. However, debating with the unjust, who close themselves off from the truth, is considered unproductive and will only worsen the situation. This article also highlights that differences in religion, culture, and beliefs should be an opportunity for mutual understanding and cooperation in creating peace and well-being together. Islam teaches the importance of maintaining harmonious relationships with fellow humans, whether in social, political, or religious contexts, while respecting freedom of belief and personal integrity

Hijrah is an important theme in the Qur'an which is related to physical, spiritual and social movement from one situation to a better one in order to get closer to Allah. In the context of Islamic history, hijrah refers to the movement of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions from Mecca to Medina to escape persecution and achieve religious freedom. Interpretation of hijrah verses, as in QS. Al-Baqarah: 218, QS. An-Nisa: 100, and QS. At-Taubah: 20, emphasizes the importance of steadfast faith, sacrifice and struggle in achieving Allah's approval. Hijrah is seen as a form of obedience that is highly valued by Allah, with a guarantee of great rewards for those who do it with sincere intentions. The interpretation of these verses also contains a spiritual dimension, where hijrah is defined as moving from a state of sin to the path of obedience. Thus, hijrah is not only limited to the physical aspect, but also includes changes in mental and moral attitudes to improve the quality of faith and piety. This abstract explains the concept of hijrah in the Al-Qur'an and its interpretation, covering historical, spiritual and social aspects in the life of a Muslim.

Religious tolerance is an essential concept in religious life reflected in Islamic teachings. Islam teaches the importance of respecting and honoring differences, whether in religion, ethnicity, or culture. The concept of religious tolerance in Islam can be found in several verses of the Qur'an, which call for not imposing religion, living in harmony and peace, and helping one another regardless of differences. The freedom to choose a religion is a fundamental human right that must be respected, as each individual has the right to choose and embrace their religion according to their belief. Islam not only teaches acceptance of differences but also respects the existence of other religions, whether major or minority. Religious tolerance in Islam goes beyond merely respecting differences; it also includes the attitude of living together peacefully and helping one another, in order to create a harmonious and blessed life.
