Abstract. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness and reliability of production machines in the process of making public street lighting poles (PJU) at PT. XYZ The main problem faced by the company is high machine downtime so that production targets are not achieved. Therefore, a method is needed that is able to measure machine effectiveness as a whole and identify the main causes of production losses. The method applied includes Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to measure machine effectiveness based on three components, namely availability, performance and quality. The Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach is used to identify factors causing low effectiveness through Six Big Losses analysis. Apart from that, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) are calculated to determine the level of machine reliability. The data used includes machine working hours, downtime, operating time, production quantities, defective products, as well as machine damage and repair data. The analysis results are expected to show the level of machine effectiveness and identify the dominant factors causing downtime. Based on these results, improvement proposals are prepared to reduce downtime, increase machine reliability and improve production productivity Keywords: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Big Losses, Downtime, Efektivitas   Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dan keandalan mesin produksi pada proses pembuatan tiang penerangan jalan umum (PJU) di PT. XYZ Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah downtime mesin yang tinggi sehingga target produksi tidak tercapai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode yang mampu mengukur efektivitas mesin secara menyeluruh dan mengidentifikasi penyebab utama kerugian produksi. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengukur efektivitas mesin berdasarkan tiga komponen, yaitu availability, performance, dan quality. Pendekatan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab rendahnya efektivitas melalui analisis Six Big Losses. Selain itu, dilakukan perhitungan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) dan Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) untuk mengetahui tingkat keandalan mesin. Data yang digunakan mencakup jam kerja mesin, downtime, waktu operasi, jumlah produksi, produk cacat, serta data kerusakan dan perbaikan mesin. Hasil analisis diharapkan dapat menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas mesin dan mengidentifikasi faktor dominan penyebab downtime. Ketidaksesuaian kualitas pada proses assembly sepatu kulit kerap memicu siklus rework berulang yang menguras sumber daya waktu maupun biaya produksi secara signifikan. Penelitian ini mengkaji mekanisme pengendalian cacat yang diterapkan pada Product D-01 di Lini C PT XYZ, dengan menggunakan DMAIC sebagai kerangka perbaikan utama serta Pareto, P-Chart, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), dan Cost of Quality (COQ) sebagai alat pendukung. Data primer bersumber dari catatan produksi internal perusahaan, pengamatan lapangan, dan wawancara terstruktur bersama pengawas produksi dan staf quality control. Pengukuran baseline menunjukkan bahwa Lini C menyumbang volume cacat paling tinggi di antara seluruh lini yang ada, dengan Product D-01 mencatat 10.487 pair cacat dari total output 80.387 pair, sehingga menghasilkan defect rate sebesar 13,05%. Distribusi Pareto mengidentifikasi wrinkle, incorrect colour, dan not straight sebagai tiga kategori cacat paling kritis. Penilaian FMEA menetapkan Risk Priority Number tertinggi sebesar 245 pada perilaku operator yang terburu-buru selama proses lasting dan brushing. Tindakan korektif mencakup pemasangan SOP visual, implementasi checklist QC pra-shift, verifikasi kondisi mesin secara rutin, dan penyediaan sampel referensi warna serta bentuk yang terstandar. Pemantauan selama dua periode berikutnya mengkonfirmasi penurunan defect rate secara bertahap menjadi 12,80% dan kemudian 11,65%, disertai penurunan estimasi biaya kegagalan internal dari Rp 2,36 juta menjadi Rp 1,86 juta per periode.

This study aims to identify the pragmatic failures of Large Language Models (LLMs) and the biases of Anglophone-based AI moderation algorithms in detecting Indonesian hate speech expressed through sarcasm, satire, euphemism, and local cultural metaphors. It also examines the extent to which AI systems understand and interpret the pragmatic meanings within the corpus. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a comparative design. Data were collected through the documentation of hate speech expressions on social media containing elements of local cultural hatred. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods with pragmatic and thematic approaches. The findings show that all corpus data contain political satire and indirect hate expressed through irony, sarcasm, absurd metaphors, and popular culture wordplay. Testing with Claude AI showed that the system was capable of identifying the data as implicit criticism and recognizing the pragmatic functions of emoticons and contextual meanings in the utterances. However, the analysis also demonstrated limitations in understanding local sociocultural contexts, particularly the metaphors “daun nangka” and “daun sawit,” which were interpreted merely as absurd humor. These findings indicate that AI detection accuracy does not necessarily reflect a deep pragmatic and cultural understanding within the Indonesian context.

A chronic metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels due to insulin resistance or impaired insulin secretion is classified as type 2 diabetes mellitus. The prevalence of diabetes continues to rise each year and has become one of the major challenges in global health due to its potential to cause serious complications, such as cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, neuropathy, and vision impairment. In addition to pharmacological therapy, the use of herbal plants is increasingly being developed as a complementary therapy because they are considered safer, more readily available, and contain bioactive compounds with potential antidiabetic properties. This review article aims to assess the effectiveness of several herbal plants namely cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia), fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), bitter melon (Momordica charantia), and moringa (Moringa oleifera) in aiding the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus based on various research findings. This study employs a literature review method by collecting and analyzing various national and international scientific publications related to the antidiabetic activity of these four plants. The review results indicate that all plants have potential as adjunct therapies for diabetes because they contain active compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols, cinnamaldehyde, charantin, quercetin, trigonelline, and saponins, which can help reduce blood glucose levels, optimize cellular response to insulin, increase GLUT4 activity, and help minimize oxidative damage. Based on the study results, moringa and cinnamon plants demonstrated the most consistent effectiveness in contributing to blood sugar control in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Thus, these herbal plants have the potential to be used as complementary therapies in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus; however, their use must still adhere to proper dosing and should not replace primary medical therapy.

XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in steel pipe production. In the production process of non-American Petroleum Institute (API) steel pipes, the company still experiences various types of waste, resulting in an inefficient production process. The identified wastes include defects, waiting, transportation, and non-value-added activities, which contribute to increased production time and reduced productivity. This study aims to analyze the major wastes occurring in the non-API steel pipe production process and propose improvements using the Lean Manufacturing approach. The methods employed in this study include Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT), Process Activity Mapping (PAM), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation of the production process. The results indicate that the dominant wastes affecting the production process are defects, waiting, and transportation. PAM analysis shows that non-value-added activities remain relatively high, leading to production time inefficiencies. Based on the FMEA results, the main causes of waste are machine conditions, work methods, and operator skills. Proposed improvements include periodic machine maintenance, production quality control, work method improvement, and the optimization of material flow.

Batik motif classification has attracted growing attention in visual computing due to its role in cultural heritage preservation, textile informatics, museum documentation, and automated cataloging. Although many studies report high classification accuracy, robustness under real-world acquisition conditions remains insufficiently understood. Batik images are frequently affected by illumination variation, blur, folds, watermark overlays, wearable deformation, scale inconsistency, and background clutter, creating challenges that extend beyond conventional image-noise assumptions. Existing studies largely focus on improving classification performance, while the interactions among acquisition variability, feature representation, evaluation practice, and deployment constraints remain fragmented. This systematic literature review addresses this gap by synthesizing batik classification research through a robustness-aware perspective. Using query expansion, backward and forward citation chaining, relevance screening, and thematic coding, 116 candidate records were identified, resulting in 50 highly relevant studies for detailed analysis. The review reveals that robustness is shaped less by denoising alone than by the combined effects of acquisition conditions, representation design, evaluation realism, and deployment context. Handcrafted descriptors remain competitive for small datasets and structured motifs due to their data efficiency and interpretability, whereas deep learning models achieve the highest reported accuracy when supported by sufficient data diversity and realistic augmentation. Hybrid representations emerge as the most consistently balanced approach, combining local texture stability with higher-level abstraction across heterogeneous acquisition settings. The review further identifies recurring robustness failure patterns, including background dependency, illumination instability, motif-scale inconsistency, wearable deformation, and source-shift vulnerability. Based on these findings, a robustness-oriented research agenda is proposed, emphasizing cross-acquisition evaluation, representation-stability analysis, batik-specific robustness benchmarks, acquisition-aware augmentation, and deployable lightweight or hybrid architectures. The study contributes a domain-specific synthesis that reframes batik motif classification from an accuracy-centric task toward a robustness-aware visual recognition problem.

Knee septic arthritis is an orthopedic emergency that requires prompt and appropriate management to prevent permanent joint damage and systemic complications. Inflammatory markers such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) are commonly used for diagnosis and monitoring of treatment response; however, their prognostic value after surgical debridement remains variable. This systematic review aimed to evaluate the role of ESR, CRP, and platelet count as prognostic indicators following irrigation and/or surgical debridement in patients with knee septic arthritis. A literature search was conducted in January using PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, SpringerLink, and Semantic Scholar, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Study quality was assessed using the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) tools. Fifteen studies meeting the inclusion criteria were qualitatively analyzed. The findings indicate that elevated preoperative CRP levels and delayed postoperative CRP reduction are associated with unfavorable clinical outcomes, including failure of infection eradication and the need for repeat debridement. Although ESR is consistently elevated during the acute phase, its slower decline limits its short-term prognostic utility. Platelet count may increase as part of the systemic inflammatory response but shows inconsistent prognostic value.

Regulatory overlap between the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, the Pornography Law, and the Sexual Violence Crimes Law in the handling of online gender-based violence (KBGO) in Indonesia creates a conflict of norms that results in double victimization. This normative legal study aims to identify the concrete forms of victim sacrifice resulting from overlapping regulations and to critique the inability of conflict-resolution mechanisms to address these conflicts through the principle of lex specialis systematica from a substantive justice perspective. The findings reveal four forms of victim sacrifice: victim criminalization, the length of the judicial process, inconsistencies in court rulings, and the failure to fulfill the right to restitution and the right to be forgotten. This study also concludes that the lex specialis systematis principle is inadequate because its dogmatic approach disregards the interests of victims, requires time and expertise that ordinary victims lack, and is not consistently applied in courts. This study recommends a paradigm shift from a dogmatic approach to a victim-centered approach.

This article analyzes the security crisis in Haiti through the lens of constructivist theory in International Relations. Haiti represents one of the clearest examples of a failed state in the Western Hemisphere, where state authority has collapsed and been replaced by armed criminal groups known as gangs. Using a constructivist perspective, this article traces how social constructions, identities, and historically formed norms have shaped the fragility of the Haitian state. The study also integrates the concept of human security to illustrate the real impact of this crisis on citizens' security across seven dimensions: economic, food, health, environmental, personal, community, and political. The main finding suggests that Haiti's state failure is not merely a product of weak formal institutions, but the result of a long process of social construction, encompassing the legacy of colonialism, crippling reparation payments, counterproductive foreign intervention, and the normalization of violence in everyday life. From a constructivist perspective, restoring security in Haiti requires narrative reconstruction, rebuilding social trust, and comprehensive reform of institutional norms.

Bariatric surgery is effective in treating obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM); however, pregnancy occurring within 12–24 months after surgery carries significant risks. This report presents a complex pregnancy case in a patient with a history of sleeve gastrectomy, post-hemithyroidectomy hypothyroidism, and T2DM. A 29-year-old primigravida conceived 2 months after undergoing sleeve gastrectomy, which successfully induced T2DM remission, with HbA1c decreasing from 11% to 5.5%. Although glycemic control and euthyroid status were maintained throughout pregnancy, the patient developed severe preeclampsia at 35–36 weeks of gestation, complicated by intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and oligohydramnios. An emergency cesarean section delivered a male infant weighing 2000 grams with Apgar scores of 8 and 9 at the first and fifth minutes, respectively. The neonate required 14 days of NICU care due to respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory failure, and hyperbilirubinemia. Maternal gestational weight gain was suboptimal at only 4 kg, below the recommended range for pregnant women with obesity. This case highlights the importance of adhering to the recommended surgery-to-conception interval following bariatric surgery. Early pregnancy after surgery, combined with multiple metabolic comorbidities, may contribute to adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. Multidisciplinary management, comprehensive nutritional monitoring, and optimization of comorbidities before conception are essential to improve pregnancy outcomes in this population.

This study aims to analyze the authority of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Sukabumi City based on Government Regulation Number 12 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Standing Orders of Regional People's Representative Councils of Provinces, Regencies, and Cities. The authority of the DPRD is a crucial element in ensuring the effective implementation of regional governance under the principle of check and balances. This research employs a normative juridical legal research method with a descriptive-analytical specification. The approaches used include the statute approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The analysis is conducted using the Authority Theory of Philipus M. Hadjon, which classifies sources of authority into attribution, delegation, and mandate. The results indicate that the authority of the DPRD of Sukabumi City in exercising its supervisory function originates from constitutional attribution directly conferred by Article 20A paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, reinforced by Law Number 17 of 2014, Law Number 23 of 2014, and operationalized through Government Regulation Number 12 of 2018 Articles 19, 21, and 22. Such authority is imperative in nature, not merely discretionary. Failure to exercise it constitutes a violation of the constitutional mandate, resulting in what Hadjon refers to as a legal oversight vacuum that enables systematic and recurring legal violations.

Hypertension is a chronic condition characterized by systolic blood pressure >130 mmHg and diastolic >80 mmHg, which can lead to serious complications such as stroke and heart failure if left unmanaged. This study aims to describe the application of warm water foot soak intervention in reducing blood pressure among hypertensive patients in the Dongkelan Kauman area. This was a descriptive study with a case study approach involving three elderlies with hypertension. The intervention was conducted for 20 minutes daily using warm water at a temperature of 38-40°C for three consecutive days. Data were collected through interviews and blood pressure measurements using a tensimeter before and after the intervention. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure in all three subjects after routinely implementing the intervention. The highest systolic reduction reached 15 mmHg, while the average diastolic reduction was 5 mmHg. Physiologically, warm water stimulates blood vessel vasodilation, which facilitates blood flow and reduces muscle tension. The study concludes that warm water foot soak therapy potentially effective as a non-pharmacological complementary intervention for controlling blood pressure in elderly patients with hypertension.

Drug-Related Problems (DRPs) are common in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) who receive combination therapy involving oral antidiabetic agents and insulin. This literature review aims to identify the main types of DRPs and the factors contributing to their occurrence based on recent studies from PubMed, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. The most frequently reported DRP is drug interaction, followed by underdosing, overdosing, therapy without indication, untreated indications, adverse drug reactions, and patient-related problems such as non-adherence. Several factors contribute to the occurrence of DRPs, including polypharmacy, inappropriate dosing, the presence of comorbidities, limited patient knowledge regarding therapy, and inadequate clinical monitoring. These conditions may increase the risk of poor glycemic control and treatment failure. Therefore, effective management of DRPs is essential to improve therapeutic outcomes. The findings of this review emphasize the important role of pharmacists in conducting medication reviews, identifying DRPs early, and implementing appropriate interventions to enhance patient safety and optimize treatment in T2DM patients.

This study analyzes the urgency of strengthening citizen lawsuit mechanisms in response to spatial planning failures from an environmental law perspective, using the 2025 floods in Bali as a case study. The study is motivated by the increasing frequency and intensity of floods, which can no longer be understood as merely natural phenomena, but rather as the result of structural failures in spatial planning management and weak government accountability. Normatively, spatial planning is regulated under Undang Undang Nomor 26 Tahun 2007 dan Undang Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 however, its implementation reveals a gap between legal norms and actual practice. The methodology employed is a normative legal approach, involving an analysis of legislation, legal doctrine, and judicial practices related to citizen lawsuits. The study's findings show that land-use conversion and development in water catchment areas, which go against the precautionary principle, the polluter pays principle, and sustainable development, are examples of spatial planning violations that cause flooding in Bali. In this situation, citizen lawsuits increase public access to justice while acting as a legal tool to hold the state responsible for its carelessness. However, this mechanism's effectiveness is still limited by the absence of a clear legal foundation, the difficulty of the burden of proof, and the public's limited access to the litigation process. Therefore, in order for citizen lawsuits to serve as effective tools for environmental protection and accountability, it is imperative that clear regulations be established, procedures be streamlined, and public access and ability information be improved.

The postpartum period is a vulnerable phase often accompanied by lactation problems, particularly ineffective breastfeeding and discomfort due to breast engorgement. These conditions may reduce maternal comfort, inhibit the let-down reflex, and increase the risk of failure in exclusive breastfeeding. Therefore, safe, practical, and comprehensive non-pharmacological nursing interventions are needed. This Final Nursing Project aims to describe the implementation of cabbage leaf compresses combined with breastfeeding education to improve maternal comfort and enhance breast milk flow in postpartum mothers. This study employed a case study method using a nursing care approach involving two postpartum mothers who experienced ineffective breastfeeding and discomfort due to breast engorgement. The interventions were provided for three days and included cabbage leaf compresses and education on breastfeeding techniques. Evaluation focused on breastfeeding ability, pain level, breast condition, maternal comfort, and milk production. The results showed improvement in breastfeeding ability, indicated by the mothers’ ability to correctly demonstrate proper positioning and latch-on techniques. Infants appeared calmer during feeding, and the duration of breastfeeding increased to approximately 10 minutes per breast. Pain scores decreased from 5 to 0–3, breast tension was reduced, and maternal comfort improved. It can be concluded that the application of cabbage leaf compresses combined with breastfeeding education is effective in improving breast milk flow and maternal comfort in postpartum mothers and can be recommended as an independent nursing intervention in maternity practice.

dishonorable Discharge (PTDH) is the most severe administrative sanction for Civil Servants (PNS) proven to have committed corruption. This study aims to analyze the implementation of PTDH for corrupt civil servants and identify the obstacles in its execution. Using a normative legal research method with statutory, conceptual, and case study approaches, this study examines the effectiveness of PTDH through Lawrence M. Friedman's Legal System Theory, which includes legal substance, legal structure, and legal culture. The results show that, in terms of substance, the PTDH norm is strictly regulated in Government Regulation Number 17 of 2020. However, its implementation faces juridical, administrative, institutional, and socio-political obstacles, as reflected in the case of the delayed execution of PTDH for five civil servants in Mukomuko Regency. This phenomenon proves the existence of a gap between law in the books and law in action. Friedman's perspective explains that the failure of PTDH is caused by weaknesses in the legal structure (apparatus/executing institutions) and legal culture (integrity/ethics of the apparatus). This study concludes that the effectiveness of PTDH can only be achieved through synergy between firm legal substance, professional legal structure, and a legal culture that upholds the integrity of state apparatus.

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in toddlers due to chronic malnutrition characterized by height below the age standard. This study aims to analyze the dietary patterns of stunted toddlers in the Parigi Community Health Center, Muna Regency, in 2025. The study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Informants consisted of mothers who had stunted toddlers as key informants and Posyandu cadres as supporting informants selected by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with triangulation validity tests. The results showed that feeding practices for stunted toddlers were still not in accordance with recommendations. All informants had carried out Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD), but exclusive breastfeeding was not optimal due to the perception of insufficient breast milk. Complementary breastfeeding (MP-ASI) tended to be given before the age of 6 months, influenced by the assumption that babies were hungry when they cried and cultural habits. The frequency of toddler meals was irregular, the type of food was dominated by porridge, and food variety was still limited. Consumption of animal side dishes, vegetables, and fruit was also not routinely provided. In conclusion, the dietary patterns of stunted toddlers in the study area do not meet the principles of balanced nutrition and are still influenced by family knowledge and habits. Therefore, increased education for mothers and families regarding appropriate feeding practices is needed to support optimal toddler growth and development.
