The purpose of this study is to determine the extrinsic elements of the short story entitled “Kado istimewa” karya Jujur Prananto. Short stories or often called short stories are material from the course of appreciation and study of prose. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of words. The data obtained in this study are in the form of extrinsic elements sourced from the short story by Dinda Yuni Sari. The results of the analysis are based on the background of society, the background of the author, and the values ​​contained in the short story.

Poetry is one of the most popular literary works in the world of literature, both in Indonesia and level in the world. Many people find it difficult to understand the poem correctly and correctly. Because, to understand poetry is not as easy to understand scientific writing. In poetry, not using language as in scientific writing, but many use words  that contain  multiple meanings.  Translating poetry,  between someone  with another,  may result differently. This, depending on the point of view of each. In fact, to be able to understand and interpret poetry  well,  at least  must understand  the two  elements that  build poetry,  namely intrinsic  elements, and extrinsic works of literature. This review attempts to look at: (1). Is there an atmosphere of past memories in Chairil Anwar’s poetry? (2). Is there any benefit to Chairil Anwar’s poems for education and teaching? The results of this study shows that the poems of Chairil have various memories of the past, and the poems of Chairil  have benefits  for  education and  teaching.  To  prove  the results  of  this study,  the reviewers  used qualitative  analysis,  an analysis  using  thinking  logic, and  socio-cultural  approach  in  interpreting literary works.

A Sekayu novel is one of those novels classified into a literary novel. It depicts the childhood memories of his author in his adolescence. The stories given in this novel describe the very things that shape the soul of its author. The study employed a descriptive method of analyzing Sekayu novels through literature studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the extrinsic element they contain. Among those extrinsic elements are the educational value. The value of education that the author USES as a reference to are five values listed in GBHN's national educational purposes: 1) responsibility, 2) self-reliance and confidence, 3) knowledge and skill, 4) creativity, and 5) discipline.

This study aims to describe the relationship of moral values with God, the relationship of human moral values with themselves, and the relationship of human moral values with other humans contained in the novel KKN in Desa Penari by Simpleman. This research is a qualitative type with descriptive method. The data in this study are data obtained from the speech of the characters, and the actions of the characters contained in the novel KKN in Desa Penari by Simpleman. The data source in this research is the novel KKN in Desa Penari by Simpleman. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 23 moral values related to man's relationship with God. Moral values related to man's relationship with himself are found in 36 data. And also found moral values related to human relationships between fellow humans as much as 47 data. The implication in Indonesian language learning is that it can be implied through the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Teaching Material with KD 3.9 analyzing the content and language of the novel read with the indicator that students can identify intrinsic, extrinsic and linguistic elements in a novel

This research used genetic structuralisme study hat aimed to described instrinsic structure, extrinsic structure, and interpretative genitive elements of  Novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” written by Tere Liye. This research was library research with qualitative descriptive approach. The primary data gained from the Novel of “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” and the seceondary data gained from another source that related to this research. Data collection fo this research were (1) noted and reread the novel of Hafalan Shalat Delisa written by Tere Liye, (2) analysed the whole data that related genetic structuralisme Novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” written by Tere Liye. The findings showed that (1) the structure of Novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa that has a theme of “ethics education” in amuslims family. The theme, plot, conflict, figure, setting and message described the good relationship, totally, and life way of delisa’s family. (2) Tere Liye as a writer of Novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa”, really like the life founded with Islamic religious value. Her personal background was represented his Novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” which was full of moral and religious value, (3) Aceh community which was very religious with the majority of Moslem underwent Tsunami and Earthquake. The condition became the background of the born of the novel “Hafalan Shalat Delisa” by Tere Liye. The novel was written to memorize tsunami in Aceh in 2004. Tere Liye emphasized that the community of Aceh always consistence in holding religious teaching to the face the effect of tsunami and earthquake
