This study aimed to describe: (1) the development process of the Eksotika Pop-Up Book media on local wisdom material for fourth-grade elementary school students, (2) the validity of the media, (3) its effectiveness, and (4) students’ responses toward the media. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study was conducted at UPT SDN 256 Gresik. Data were collected through interviews, observations, validation questionnaires from media and material experts, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the Eksotika Pop-Up Book media was feasible for use in learning activities, obtaining a media expert validation score of 95.31% and a material expert validation score of 93.75%, both categorized as very valid. The media and content were aligned with the learning objectives and supported students’ understanding of local wisdom traditions in Gresik, including Rebo Wekasan, Malam Selawe, Pasar Bandeng, Sanggring, Pencak Macan, and Damar Kurung. Therefore, the Eksotika Pop-Up Book is considered valid and feasible as an alternative learning medium for Grade IV IPAS learning.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), specifically on the topic of changes in the state of matter, by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Grade IV of SD GP Berea Tondano. The research followed a cyclical procedure consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study employed a classroom action research design and was conducted during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation techniques, with 15 fourth-grade students serving as the research subjects. The findings revealed significant improvements across teacher activity, student activity, and learning completeness. Teacher performance in managing instruction improved notably, with an average observation score of 73 (good) in Cycle I, rising to 93 (excellent) in Cycle II. Student engagement in the learning process likewise increased, from an average of 68.26 (good) in Cycle I to 86.53 (excellent) in Cycle II. Student learning completeness also showed marked progress, with the average score reaching 46.77 (satisfactory) in Cycle I and advancing to 100 (excellent) in Cycle II. These results demonstrate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is effective in enhancing both student creativity and learning outcomes on the topic of changes in the state of matter.

Community service represents a tangible contribution of higher education institutions in improving the quality of learning at the elementary level. This service activity was carried out collaboratively by lecturers and students at MI Miftahul Huda 2 Palangka Raya with the aim of enhancing the quality of IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) learning through the development of interactive teaching materials based on Canva. The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes the empowerment of existing assets within the school community. The implementation involved mentoring sessions, technical guidance, and direct classroom application of the developed materials. Effectiveness was evaluated through pretests and posttests, showing an increase in students' understanding from an average pretest score of 55.19 to a posttest score of 77.04, with an average N-Gain of 0.47 (moderate category). Validation results from subject matter experts (96%), design experts (97%), and classroom teachers (89%) confirmed that the developed media were appropriate in terms of content, visual quality, and language use. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the use of technology-based teaching media also increased student motivation and teacher engagement during the learning process. The outcomes of this program not only provided direct benefits to the partner school but also demonstrated the potential for broader application as a participatory and sustainable model for digital innovation in basic education.

This study aims to examine the effect of the science and social studies module on story material in the area where I live on the learning outcomes of IV grade students at SDN Lebakrejo IV Purwodadi. This type of research is quantitative using experimental research methods, the form of Quasi Experimental Design research and the design of this research, namely Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used in this research is the test instrument. The population in this study amounted to 27 students. The instrument includes a pre-test and post-test using the t-test statistical analysis technique. The results showed that there was a significant influence from the use of the science teaching modules which had been developed according to the needs and characteristics of students, namely the t count (3.52) was greater than the t table (2.06), so it could be concluded that the difference between the mean post-test scores of the two groups were statistically significant.
