Animated films are not only a medium of entertainment but also an effective tool for delivering moral, social, and educational values through innovative storytelling and engaging visual styles. In Indonesia, although many animated films are broadcast on national television, only a limited number originate from domestic creators. This condition highlights the need to strengthen local creative content that reflects Indonesia’s cultural and environmental identity. The present design project aims to develop an alternative television program in the form of a 2D animated film that emphasizes the preservation of Mentilin, an endemic animal of Bangka Island, while simultaneously serving as an educational medium for the local community. The research and design process employed a qualitative approach, focusing on data collection through observation, interviews, and literature review to identify effective strategies for socialization and education. The animation production of Mentilin, The Tiny Tarsier was carried out in three main stages: pre-production, including concept development and storyboarding; production, involving character design, background creation, and animation; and post-production, which covered editing, sound design, and final rendering. The application of restorative justice in the Indonesian criminal justice system cannot be immediately implemented in all cases, particularly for assault crimes. This is due to limitations in implementation and inhibiting factors that arise in the field. Facts show that some law enforcement officers are still less than optimal in expediting the restorative justice process. This condition creates legal uncertainty and anxiety, especially for prosecutors handling cases. This situation also impacts the prosecutor's position, which could be questioned by superiors and supervisory committees if case resolution does not proceed according to regulations. This study uses a socio-legal research approach to examine two main issues. First, the author analyzes the implementation of restorative justice in resolving assault cases in the jurisdiction of the Samarinda District Attorney's Office. Second, the author identifies obstacles faced in implementing restorative justice in that jurisdiction. Based on the results of the study, 14 cases of assault were handled. Of these, 11 cases were successfully resolved through restorative justice mechanisms, while 3 cases were declared failed. This failure is generally influenced by the failure to meet several important requirements, including: the perpetrator being a recidivist or having previously committed a crime, a sentence exceeding five years, the absence of a peace agreement between the perpetrator and the victim, and the perpetrator's failure to fulfill their obligation to provide compensation. Therefore, it can be concluded that although restorative justice plays a crucial role in achieving a more humane and equitable resolution of cases, its implementation still faces structural and technical obstacles. Consistent efforts by law enforcement and increased understanding of the concept of restorative justice are needed for this mechanism to operate effectively, provide legal certainty, and address the community's need for justice.

Subcontractor selection is a crucial factor in determining the success of a construction project. The selected subcontractor not only plays a role in expediting the completion of the work but also influences the overall quality, cost, and timeliness of the project. Mistakes in decision-making, such as selecting a less competent subcontractor, can result in delays in completion, increased project costs, and even decreased construction quality. Therefore, a systematic, measurable, and objective method is needed to support the subcontractor selection process. This study aims to implement the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as an approach in a decision support system for subcontractor selection. AHP was chosen because it can decompose complex problems into simpler structures by determining criteria weights and comparing alternatives. The criteria used in this study include expertise, work experience, timeliness of work, equipment availability, and bid price. By assigning weights to each criterion, the selection process can be carried out more transparently and measurably. The case study was conducted at PT. Tatha Group, a company engaged in the construction services sector. In this study, AHP was used to prioritize alternative subcontractors to be selected to assist in project implementation. The research results show that the AHP method produces clear, structured results and supports more accurate decision-making. Thus, the application of AHP not only minimizes subjectivity in assessments but also provides accountable recommendations for selecting the best subcontractor for the project's needs.

Shooting in a video feature requires the right cinematographic strategy to build emotional closeness between the audience and the subject. The creation of “Perempuan di Balik Asap Cerutu” raises the story of female cigar-rolling workers using a cinematographic approach that emphasizes close-up and handheld techniques. The close-up technique is used to create emotional intimacy through detailed expressions and the subject’s activities, while the handheld technique gives a spontaneous and realistic impression, as if the audience is present in the event. This work aims to build an emotional connection between the audience and the subject, thus evoking empathy and public concern for the fate of female workers in Indonesia. Through a work that delivers a story capable of stirring emotions, it also highlights the lives of working women who are rarely represented in the media. The production process is divided into three stages: pre-production (research, observation, concept development), production (shooting using cinematographic techniques), and post-production (footage selection and audio-visual editing). The use of close-up and handheld techniques not only functions aesthetically, but also reflects the creator’s empathetic attitude toward the subject (ethical), and supports a more touching and human narrative delivery (narrative).

Technological advancements have brought fundamental changes in the way we interact with digital images and photography. One significant milestone in this development is the Photoshop Express Photo Editor, which has become a primary platform for image processing and editing. Datasets are used to analyze sentiment and are utilized during the accuracy testing phase. Based on the testing results, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm achieved an average accuracy value of 86.50%, compared to the Naïve Bayes (NB) algorithm, which achieved an average accuracy value of 75%. The results of the research conclude that the choice of sentiment analysis method should be tailored to the needs and limitations of the system. If a fast, light, and easy-to-understand process is required, the Naive Bayes method is the right choice. However, if accuracy and context understanding are the top priorities, then CNN is a superior approach, although it requires more resources. Additionally, based on the Wordcloud data, it is known that the majority of comments are positive, indicating that the reviews or texts analyzed contain many positive expressions related to quality, usability, and ease of use.
