This study examines the lexical and grammatical meanings of news headlines from the November 2025 edition of detik.com, posted on Instagram. The shift from a news site to a social media platform often necessitates adjustments to headlines, which can lead to shifts in meaning. To collect relevant headlines, this study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a listening and note-taking technique. The analysis shows that lexical meaning in headlines is evident through the use of words with basic dictionary meanings, such as names of people, places, objects, and actions. Grammatical meaning is discovered through affixation and reduplication, which can change or add to the meaning of basic words according to the context. These two types of meaning play a crucial role in creating concise, clear headlines that are appropriate for the way news is presented on Instagram. This study concludes that the formation of meaning in headlines on detik.com is influenced by a combination of lexical and grammatical meanings tailored to the communication needs of social media platforms.

The proliferation of online gambling promotional comments on Indonesian social media has become a serious issue requiring fast and accurate automated handling. This study aims to implement a Hybrid Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method to classify online gambling comments and compare its performance with standalone RNN and LSTM models. The research utilized a dataset of 10,230 comments subjected to comprehensive preprocessing stages, including the normalization of non-standard language using a slang dictionary. Testing was conducted across three data-splitting scenarios: 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30. Experimental results demonstrate that the standalone LSTM model achieved the highest average accuracy of 97.45%. However, the Hybrid RNN–LSTM model showed significant superiority in terms of performance stability, yielding the lowest standard deviation (0.0027) and the smallest Coefficient of Variation (0.28%) across all scenarios. These findings indicate that while the LSTM architecture is highly effective at capturing short-text context, the Hybrid approach provides better robustness against fluctuations in data proportions, making it highly relevant for implementation as an automated detection system on social media.

This study investigates the influence of the vocabulary terms “selumbari” and “tulat” on efforts to develop and cultivate the Indonesian language, particularly through expanding public lexical awareness via social media. These two terms, originating from local linguistic traditions, possess significant potential to be integrated into modern Indonesian as part of cultural preservation and the strengthening of national linguistic identity. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method, collecting data through the dissemination of educational videos and Google Form questionnaires on social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok. Respondents consisted of students, university students, the general public, and various other social groups. Analysis of responses from 20 participants revealed that most respondents had never heard or read the words “selumbari” and “tulat.” However, the majority stated that both words were easy to understand and contributed positively to vocabulary development in Indonesian. The findings indicate that social media plays a strategic role in introducing and popularizing new vocabulary to a wide audience. This study also highlights the importance of vocabulary enrichment as part of ongoing Indonesian language development, ensuring that the language remains adaptive to contemporary changes while representing local cultural richness. The implications of this research may serve as a reference for educators, linguistic institutions, and policymakers in formulating strategies to enhance vocabulary literacy, especially among younger generations.

The study of meaning in language, whether found in words, phrases, or sentences, is known as semantics. Language often has diverse or metaphorical meanings in literary works such as songs, which can confuse listeners. This becomes a problem when listeners understand song lyrics differently from what the artist intended. The song “Kembali Pulang” by Suara Kayu and Feby Putri, which is currently popular, is an example of lyrics rich in symbolism and meaning, making it interesting to study semantically. Abdul Chaer's semantic theory, which focuses on determining lexical and grammatical meaning, forms the basis of this approach. Lexical meaning, which includes synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, hyponyms, polysemy, redundancy, and ambiguity, is the dictionary meaning or actual meaning. However, meanings that have undergone composition, reduplication, and affixation are known as grammatical meanings. To correctly and thoroughly understand the message conveyed by the song “Kembali Pulang” by Suara Kayu and Feby Putri, this study aims to clarify the lexical and grammatical meanings contained in the song lyrics. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, which included analysis of the song lyrics along with recording, listening, and reading strategies.

The formation of a perfect character is the main goal for every believer, as stated in Matthew 5:48. The perfect phrase in this verse comes from the word τέλειος (teleios), and based on this, it is important to understand the word τέλειος (teleios) holistically, so that the congregation can understand correctly what God wants in their lives. The research method used in this study is the library research method, and therefore there is no population and sample used in this study, however, in this study the researcher will use various kinds of literature as references, such as: the Bible in various translations; Bible Dictionary; Language Dictionary; Encyclopedia; Concordance; Bible Interpretation Books; Other books related to the research theme; Journals and other literature related to the research theme. The data analysis technique used in this study is Theoretical Hermeneutics. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is known that the phrase τέλειος does not refer to a state of sinlessness, but to a real and profound transformation of life as a result of knowing God. The demand to be perfect in Matthew 5:48 means that God's people are called to emulate God's character, namely love that comes from a loving heart must be expressed concretely in everyday social life. The impact of implementing the Matthew 5:48 teaching model on the GSKI congregation in Medan City is seen in: The congregation's increasing strength in facing life's processes and worldly temptations; Firmness of faith marked by increased joy and strength in facing life's challenges; Spiritual independence seen from the congregation's ability to control ego/flesh, as well as growing a deep longing to live close to God.

Arabic language proficiency, a key element in Islamic religious education, requires adequate learning resources. One innovation that contributes to the learning process is the use of a digital Arabic-Indonesian dictionary. This study aims to identify the extent to which students utilize digital dictionaries and their impact on Arabic language learning. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach through data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Participants included students enrolled in the Arabic Language Education study program from the 2010 intake, lecturers teaching Arabic, and data on the use of digital dictionary applications. The study findings indicate that most students prefer using digital dictionaries due to their ease of access and comprehensive features, such as instant word search and examples of word usage in context. Students perceive digital dictionaries as more practical and efficient, especially for quickly searching for word meanings, which is very helpful in the intensive Arabic language learning process. However, several obstacles also arise, including low digital literacy among some students and limited internet access in some locations. On the other hand, lecturers at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute in Indonesia continue to encourage the use of printed dictionaries to train students' accuracy in searching for meanings, especially so that they do not rely solely on technology. Overall, the use of digital dictionaries has been proven to positively contribute to improving Arabic comprehension and sentence structure, making them an effective and relevant alternative learning resource in the digital age. The use of digital Arabic-Indonesian dictionaries also makes it easier for students to learn technical terms frequently used in academic and religious texts.

This study aims to thoroughly examine the phenomenon of the use of standard and non-standard words found in various types of written texts in public spaces, particularly in promotional media and visual information. The method employed is qualitative descriptive with a content analysis approach. Data were obtained through direct observation of visual elements in public spaces and analyzed with the support of literature from previous studies, including social media posts that reflect the everyday language habits of the community. The study focuses on various visual media such as banners and business signboards that display language use. The results indicate a significant gap between the language rules stipulated in the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) and the language practices developed in society. Several factors influencing the use of non-standard words include the community's habitual use of certain forms, the inheritance of habits from previous generations, and the influence of foreign languages and local dialects. The consequences of this phenomenon may include misunderstandings in communication and challenges in maintaining the standard and purity of Indonesian as the national language.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of dictionaries as repackaged information products at the Library of Universitas Perintis Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach using observation and interviews with librarians. The findings reveal that although both physical and digital dictionaries are available and in good condition, their utilization remains low. Dictionaries are only used when required for practical courses and are rarely accessed otherwise. Factors contributing to the low usage include limited promotion, insufficient information literacy, and the lack of integration between the dictionary collection and the academic curriculum. This situation results in the suboptimal contribution of dictionaries to students’ learning processes and information literacy. The study recommends strategies to increase dictionary utilization through active promotion, curriculum integration, information literacy training, and continuous evaluation. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of academic library services, particularly in optimizing repackaged information products to support the learning needs of health science students.

The material object of this study is Engkau poetry by Muhammad Zuhri, while the formal object is semiotics by Riffaterre. In his theory, Michael Riffaterre, introduces two level of reading, i.e. heuristics (mimetic reading, based on the dictionary meaning, characterized by non-gramatical) and hermeneutic reading or retroactive reading (reading decoding process by searching models, matrix, hipogram: actual and potential to get a unity of meaning). The result of this study revealed that Engkau poetry in heuristics reading has not been found its unity of meaning, and it is still scattered and fragmented. In hermeneutic or retroactive reading, potential hipogram depicts the inner journey of the “Aku” lyrics from stagnant stage to the finding of bright spot stage. There are two monumental models in Engkau poetry.

The rapid development of digital technology has a significant impact on people's lives, including children's lives. Due to the use of this technology, protecting children's personal data has become an important issue in the current digital era, where children are vulnerable to the misuse of their personal data. The aim of this research is to examine the role of supervisory institutions in providing protection for children's personal data in Indonesia and to analyze it in comparison with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) in South Korea. This research employs a normative legal approach. The legal materials used in this study focus on primary legal sources in the form of legislation, secondary legal sources such as literature, books, and journals, tertiary legal sources including Black’s Law Dictionary and the Indonesian Language Dictionary, as well as legal comparisons between Indonesia and South Korea. The results of this study indicate that the law in Indonesia has not fully provided adequate protection for personal data, particularly regarding the establishment and role of supervisory institutions, which have not yet been formed as a means of safeguarding children's personal data. In contrast, the regulations in South Korea provide more detailed provisions regarding the protection of children's personal data, along with an effectively functioning supervisory body known as the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).

Insecure in Indonesian means unsafe. Meanwhile, according to the APA Dictionary of Psychology, insecurity or insecurity is a feeling of inadequacy and lack of self-confidence. While self-awareness is the ability to understand and recognize one's own emotions, strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations, the implementation of self-awareness in social and emotional learning (SEL) is very important to help students develop emotionally and socially. Meanwhile, self-confidence is confidence and belief in one's abilities, being optimistic, objective, responsible, rational and realistic to solve and overcome a problem with an upside down situation so that it can provide something and be accepted by other people and the environment. Changes in meaning are influenced by the development of the times due to several factors. Changes in meaning can also occur in the world of literature, because literature is created using the medium of language. Language is a social creation, one of the literary works is the novel. Lord Of The Rings let me be a goddamn whore. Dahlan is an interesting novel because the story is taken from the real events of a Muslim woman who was very devout worship and then became a prostitute. In the middle of the process of becoming a kaffah/total muslimah, hit by a storm of disappointment by the organization she adored so that she finally decided to get out/run away. It is in that empty state that falls into a black world. The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in the form of amelioration in the novel God allow me to be a prostitute by Muhidin M. Dahlan. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. The Data in this study are words derived from novel quotations, and the source of the data in this study is the novel God allow me to be a Whore By Muhidin M. Dahlan. Data collection techniques used in this study are read and record. Data analysis techniques by classifying data including amelioration, marking the words, analyzing the data in accordance with the Indonesian dictionary (KBBI) and making conclusions. The results of this study, found as many as 30 word forms that change the meaning of amelioration.
