This study aims to analyze the strategies applied by teachers in shaping students' green behavior in grade IV of SDN Sarakan III, Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects include grade IV teachers, students, and the school principal. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that teachers implement five main strategies, namely: (1) designing learning according to the objectives and characteristics of students; (2) encouraging active student participation; (3) presenting material contextually; (4) using Project Based Learning (PjBL) methods and the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach; and (5) habituating environmentally caring behavior in everyday school life. The implementation of students' green behavior has been observed in the aspects of knowledge, attitude, and action, although consistency still needs to be improved, especially due to limited school facilities and differences in students' levels of awareness.

Komunitas: Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Indonesia 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Tanaman Dan Hewani Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the underlying causes of low interest in Arabic language learning and to formulate pedagogical solutions through the integration of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Cooperative Learning, and the PAKEM (Active, Creative, Effective, and Joyful Learning) framework. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method, this study critically analyzes data to identify epistemological, affective, and pedagogical barriers in Arabic instruction, while exploring the potential interventions of the three aforementioned strategies. The findings indicate that the decline in student interest is primarily driven by material abstraction, language anxiety, and passive instructional methods. The integration of these three strategies offers a complementary and holistic solution: CTL addresses cognitive barriers by contextualizing material into meaningful learning experiences; Cooperative Learning mitigates affective obstacles by fostering psychological safety through peer support; and PAKEM overcomes motoric-engagement barriers by stimulating joyful, active participation. The synergy of these strategies effectively shifts the instructional paradigm from passive-instructional to active-participatory, fundamentally reconstructing and enhancing student engagement and interest in Arabic language acquisition.

Teaching plane geometry often faces challenges due to the abstract nature of geometric concepts, which are often detached from students’ real-life contexts. This study is a development research (Research and Development) using a modified 4D model reduced to 3D (Define, Design, Develop) aimed at producing and testing the validity of a Student Worksheet based on ethnomathematics with Batik Sekundang motifs on plane geometry material oriented toward Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Validation was conducted by two mathematics education experts who assessed the feasibility of content/material, media, and language/readability using a Likert scale instrument. The data were analyzed quantitatively in a descriptive manner using percentage formulas to determine the level of validity. The results showed that the student worksheet obtained a validity percentage of 87.50% in content feasibility (very valid), 80.76% in media (valid), and 87.50% in language (very valid), with an overall average of 85.25%, which falls into the very valid category. Based on these results, the ethnomathematics-based student worksheet with Batik Sekundang motifs is declared suitable to be used as a supporting teaching material for contextual and meaningful plane geometry learning for students in South Bengkulu.

Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a pedagogical approach that links the learning material to students' everyday life, making the learning process more meaningful and easier to understand. The aim of this literature review is to identify the effectiveness of context-based teaching materials in enhancing students' conceptual understanding, motivation, and learning outcomes in elementary schools. Studies focusing on the development of teaching materials, interactive modules, contextual worksheets, and e-modules were analyzed in depth. The findings show that the contextual approach consistently enhances student engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking skills. However, several challenges need to be addressed, such as limited resources, lack of teacher competence, and the scarcity of relevant local learning resources. This article provides strategic recommendations related to the development and implementation of more effective and sustainable context-based teaching materials, taking into account resource availability and the improvement of teacher competencies to ensure the success of contextual learning in elementary schools.

This study discusses the development of thematic teaching materials in elementary schools to improve the quality of learning in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results show that the thematic teaching materials developed with approaches such as Project Based Learning (PjBL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can enhance students' critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility skills. The integration of local wisdom values as well as the use of digital and contextual teaching materials make learning more engaging, interactive, and meaningful. The thematic teaching materials based on these innovative learning models can help students develop 21st-century skills. Thus, the development of thematic teaching materials based on innovative models is an effective strategy for creating quality learning in elementary schools that is relevant to curriculum demands and the needs of today's learners. The use of technology and contextual approaches enriches students' learning experiences, making them more relevant and beneficial in daily life.
