This study aims to analyze the need for redesigning the visual identity of PHD (Peternakan Hijau Daun) Nusantara as an effort to strengthen the brand image as an arts and culture-based educational tourism destination. The problems underlying this research are the inconsistent visual identity, the lack of representation of the brand's character, and the low level of audience recognition of PHD Nusantara. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the analysis indicate several main factors that form the basis for the need for redesign, namely the inconsistency of visual elements, the weak strength and readability of the logo, the inconsistency of the visual identity with the character of the destination, and the suboptimal visual experience of the audience at various interaction points. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the development of a more consistent, communicative, and characteristic visual identity is needed as a basis for the redesign process. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in redesigning a visual identity that can strengthen the image of PHD Nusantara and increase its appeal to the audience.

This study aims to examine in-depth the cultural, social, and religious values embodied in the traditional Jaipong dance and their relevance to cultural development in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The approach used was a qualitative study based on literature review with an ethnopedagogical perspective, which views local culture as a source of learning. The results indicate that Jaipong Dance not only possesses aesthetic elements as part of artistic expression, but also contains moral, social, and spiritual values that reflect the character of the Sundanese people. These values include discipline, creativity, cooperation, courtesy, self-confidence, and a spirit of togetherness and nationalism. All of these values align with the principles of Islamic education, which emphasize noble morals, respect for culture, and the development of student character. Therefore, the integration of local arts and culture, such as Jaipong, into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, can enrich educational methods, provide contextual learning, and foster students' love for Islamic values that are more humanistic, inclusive, and applicable in everyday life.

This research uses a qualitative method aimed at examining how the integration of local arts and culture into elementary school learning can enhance students’ national identity. In the rapid era of globalization, preserving local culture becomes essential as a foundation in shaping the nation’s character. Through a case study approach in several elementary schools in Indonesia, it was found that incorporating elements of traditional arts such as dance, regional music, folklore, and local crafts into subjects like Indonesian Language, Arts and Culture, and Civics Education had a positive impact on students’ understanding and appreciation of their cultural heritage. Teachers act as creative facilitators by connecting lesson materials with local wisdom, making the learning process more meaningful and contextual. The results show that students become more proud of their own culture, develop a stronger sense of historical awareness, and foster a deeper love for their country. Therefore, integrating local arts and culture not only enriches the learning process but also serves as an effective strategy in building national identity from an early age.

The transformation of Islamic art is a long process that occurs through the interaction of various cultures. The Mughal dynasty in India became one of the most influential centers of Islamic art development, where Persian, Indian and Islamic cultures were combined in various art forms. This influence then spread to Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, through trade and the spread of Islam. The purpose of this article is to find out the history of the establishment and development of the Mughal Dynasty. In addition, it is also to know the progress of civilization and thought until the decline during the Mughal Dynasty. The Islamic civilization of the classical-middle period was a great civilization. At that time there was no other civilization that could match its greatness. The glory of Islam was felt in various regions, one of which was India. In India, Islam was once victorious as evidenced by the many Islamic dynasties that were established there, such as the Mamluk Dynasty (1206-1290), Khalji Dynasty (1206-1320 AD), Tugluq Dynasty (1320-1413 AD), and several other dynasties. However, the most prominent dynasty in India was the Mughal Dynasty. The Mughals were an Islamic dynasty that ruled India from the 16th century to the 19th century. It was one of the three major dynasties (Mughals, Ottoman Turks and Safavids) that emerged during the medieval period. The Mughal Dynasty had a major role in the development of Islam in India, ranging from politics, economics, arts and culture, religion, to the field of knowledge. The results showed that the success of the Mughal Dynasty in building the peak of Islamic civilization in India amidst the dominance of Hinduism was the result of an inclusive and tolerant policy of religious pluralism.

To increase efficiency, productivity and wider access to information in teaching and learning activities, the use of technology in the learning process is currently a top priority. However, problems arise when schools lack sufficient technological devices to support technology-based learning. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in creating appropriate and useful learning media. The use of video-based learning media combined with a digital story approach is an alternative to overcome this problem. What learning methods are used to teach using story-based digital media? This research was conducted at MTS Misbahul Khair. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations. The study results show: 1) Digital video-based learning design has been used well. 2) The questionnaire shows that this media is effective; 80% of students say that video-based digital stories increase their interest, focus and understanding. However, there are several obstacles, such as limited specifications for students' digital devices and the need for quite large storage space and internet quota.

Miniature Indonesia is the nickname of Serdang Bedagai Regency, where many ethnic groups live in the Land of the Magic of this Traditional Country. There are still many local residents who do not know the culture in the land where they live. Based on existing problems, a view arose to design Arts and Culture Facilities that would house all arts activities and cultural preservation, especially Malay culture, as the forerunner to the establishment of Serdang Bedagai Regency. The theme approach that will be used to design this Arts and Cultural Facility is Neo-Vernacular Architecture. Neo-Vernacular architecture is an architectural concept that incorporates elements of surrounding culture into buildings by applying patterns or motifs typical of the place itself. Apart from that, the use of a neo-vernacular theme is also in line with the building's function, namely as an arts and cultural facility, where the aim of this project is to introduce the surrounding culture to local people and tourists from outside the area.

This paper aims to discuss the meaning of the message of T-shirts labeled with Balinese terms that are traded as tourist souvenirs in Bali. As a result of qualitative research, research data were obtained through observation, document review, and interviews with several informants of t-shirt consumers as well as observers of fashion and Balinese arts and culture. The data collected were analyzed by communication theory and semiotic theory. The results of the study show that the fashion or form of the t-shirt is a t-shirt without a kra decorated with Latin writing or a Balinese script with artistic and ideological expression motifs. T-shirts labeled Balinese have become part of the creative industry for tourist souvenirs that continues to grow in line with the dynamics of Bali tourism. From the perspective of visual communication, the message of a Bali tourism souvenir t-shirt has the following meanings: (1) introducing Bali tourist destinations, (2) as an expression of the soul of the wearer; (3) introducing group identity, (4) information on a moment of Balinese tradition, and (5) introducing Balinese language and cultural identity to the public. T-shirt tourism souvenirs that introduce Balinese cultural identity need to be continuously developed.
