The Hallyu phenomenon, or Korean Wave, has become a global trend influencing various aspects of life, particularly among Indonesian youth. The popularity of Korean culture, such as K-Pop, K-Drama, fashion, and lifestyle, is not merely a form of entertainment but also impacts the values, lifestyles, and perspectives of teenagers. While this trend brings positive values such as hard work, collaboration, and innovation, there are concerns about its effects on preserving local values and religious teachings. In this context, Islamic da'wah faces both challenges and opportunities to adapt to popular cultural trends. Through a creative approach that utilizes elements of Korean culture, da'wah can be delivered in a way that is relevant and appealing to the younger generation. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Hallyu-based da'wah strategies and analyze Muslim youth's perceptions of this approach. The results are expected to provide innovative guidance for preserving Islamic values amidst the wave of cultural globalization.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of e-commerce tax in Indonesia from the perspectives of law and enforcement effectiveness. Using a normative juridical approach, this research examines the legal norms outlined in legislation, including Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (as amended), Law No. 7 of 2014 on Trade, and Minister of Finance Regulation No. 210/PMK.010/2018. The findings indicate that e-commerce requires specific regulations due to its unique characteristics compared to conventional trade. These regulations aim to protect consumers and ensure tax compliance. However, challenges in implementing these regulations persist, particularly in supervision and law enforcement. Furthermore, the taxation aspect of e-commerce faces difficulties in reaching international businesses and avoiding tax evasion. Therefore, ongoing efforts from the government are necessary to strengthen regulations and law enforcement in addressing the dynamics of e-commerce development in Indonesia, to achieve legal certainty and optimal tax contributions from this sector.

This study examines the implementation of sakinah (tranquilty) family development at the religious affairs office (KUA) of Medan Denai subdistrict, North Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, trough the Qur'anic perspective of Surah Ar-Rum verse 21 as interpreted in Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The verse elucidates one of Allah's signs in creating spouses from among humankind to attain tranquility (sakinah), affection (mawaddah), and mercy (rahmah) within marital bonds. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with religious counselors and newlywed couples, and documentation analysis of premarital counseling programs at KUA Medan Denai. Findings reveal that the office has integrated the triadic values of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah into its premarital guidance modules grounded in contextual Qur'anic interpretation. However, post-marital follow-up remains limited, affecting sustainability. Tafsir Al-Misbah provides a robust conceptual framework by interpreting sakinah as spiritual serenity rooted in faith, mawaddah as active emotional commitment, and rahmah as divine compassion manifested in daily family interactions. The study concludes that optimizing sakinah family development requires strengthening thematic Qur'anic-based counseling modules and establishing continuous post-nuptial mentoring to foster families that are spiritually grounded, emotionally resilient, and socially responsible. This research contributes to the discourse on integrating classical Qur'anic exegesis with contemporary family counseling practices in Indonesia's religious bureaucracy.

This article discusses the integration of social sciences and humanities in Islamic studies as an epistemological reconstruction effort to restore the unity between revelation, reason, and social reality. The research approach used is qualitative with a library research design through critical analysis of academic literature from various sources, including journals indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar. The results of the study indicate that the integration of social sciences and humanities broadens the orientation of Islamic studies from a normative-theological perspective to a more contextual and transformative multidisciplinary analysis. The social sciences serve as analytical instruments for socio-religious phenomena, while the humanities provide a reflective, ethical, and philosophical foundation that enriches understanding of Islamic teachings. The implementation of this paradigm is evident in the concept of "integration-interconnection" at UIN Indonesia and "Islamic revealed knowledge" at IIUM Malaysia, which have successfully developed an ethical and rational scientific tradition without abandoning the values of monotheism. Despite facing epistemological and cultural challenges, scientific integration remains a crucial foundation for the development of an inclusive, humanistic, and humane civilization.

This study aims to analyze the interpretation of hadiths concerning women’s roles in the public sphere through a hermeneutical approach, reaffirming an inclusive and contextual Islamic perspective on gender. The research arises from the dominance of literal and patriarchal readings of hadiths that tend to limit women’s participation in social and educational domains. Employing a qualitative library research method, this study examines relevant hadith texts and explores the views of contemporary Muslim hermeneutical thinkers such as Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, Fazlur Rahman, and Amina Wadud. The findings reveal that hermeneutics provides a methodological framework capable of fostering gender-just interpretations by emphasizing the historical, social, and moral dimensions of the hadith text. The reinterpretation demonstrates that many hadiths previously understood restrictively are, in fact, contextual rather than universally normative. The study’s implications encourage a new paradigm in Islamic scholarship that is more reflective, critical, and socially responsive. The novelty of this research lies in integrating hermeneutical analysis with thematic hadith studies on women’s participation in the public domain, an area rarely explored in depth. This research thus contributes significantly to developing a more humanistic and egalitarian Islamic epistemology.

This article discusses a theoretical study of impoverishment punishment for corrupt perpetrators. Corruption is considered a planned crime that has a negative impact on the state and society and requires decisive action to eradicate it. This survey revealed that the majority of students think that impoverishment punishment, which is expected to have a deterrent effect compared to prison sentences, can be an effective preventive effort in eradicating corruption. The students also emphasized the importance of returning assets to the state to compensate for losses due to corruption. The view of the death penalty for corruption perpetrators is now considered irrelevant, because the focus is on recovery economy and justice. This study shows that a stricter and more systematic approach is needed in eradicating corruption, including stricter regulations, proper asset management, and educating the public about the negative impacts of corruption. Thus, this article presents an understanding of sharing perspectives. The younger generation can help create more effective anti-corruption policies in Indonesia.

Perfume has been used since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, not only as a means to improve appearance and cleanliness, but also has spiritual, aesthetic, and health values. The aroma produced from natural ingredients such as flowers, wood, and spices is believed to be able to provide calm and improve the quality of life. This study aims to examine the content of natural chemicals in perfumes, such as essential compounds from plants, and their positive impacts on human physical and mental health. In addition, this study also reviews the use and recommendations of perfumes in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, which show that the use of fragrances is part of an Islamic lifestyle that is sunnah. This study examines the application of the hermeneutical approach in Islamic studies from the perspective of contextual Islamic Religious Education (IRE). The problem underlying this research is the dominance of textual and normative learning patterns in Islamic education that are often disconnected from contemporary social and cultural realities. The study aims to describe the hermeneutic concepts of Fazlur Rahman’s “double movement” and Hans-Georg Gadamer’s “fusion of horizons” and to analyze their relevance in developing contextual IRE. This research employs a qualitative library research method by analyzing recent scientific literature (2021–2025) from national and international journals. The findings reveal that hermeneutics provides a methodological and philosophical foundation for transforming IRE from rote-based learning into reflective, dialogical, and contextual learning. This study concludes that hermeneutics can be used as a conceptual and practical framework to strengthen the relevance of Islamic education in addressing modern challenges. However, the study’s limitation lies in its theoretical nature, so further empirical research is recommended to test the effectiveness of hermeneutic-based pedagogical models in classroom settings.

This study compares the recovery systems for victims of psychosocial violence and traffic accidents from the perspective of Unlawful Acts (PMH) in Indonesia and Malaysia. Using library research, this study analyzes the legal framework, institutions, and social and psychological approaches used by both countries to support the victim recovery process. In Indonesia, the victim recovery system is still oriented towards material compensation and administrative settlements, with limited recognition of immaterial losses such as trauma and psychological disorders. In contrast, Malaysia has developed a victim-centered justice approach that positions victims as the subject of recovery, through regulations such as the Domestic Violence Act 1994 (Amendment 2017), the Road Transport Act 1987, and compensation mechanisms through the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Malaysia (MIB) and the Victim Compensation Fund. This approach comprehensively integrates legal, social, and psychological recovery, including free counseling services through the One Stop Crisis Center (OSCC) and Talian Kasih 15999. The study's findings indicate that Malaysia has moved toward a holistic human recovery paradigm, while Indonesia still needs to strengthen its victim recovery system by addressing the psychological and social dimensions to align with the principles of restorative justice.

Confusion among Christians about the concept of salvation by God through Jesus Christ can disrupt their faith. Therefore, churches need to develop anticipatory strategies to overcome this phenomenon, one of which is through preaching. Effective faith-building preaching should be Christocentric, focusing on Jesus as the center of teaching. To achieve this, two conditions must be met: first, a hermeneutic perspective oriented towards Jesus, since this will influence the homiletic methods used; second, biblical readings that support that focus, in which the lexionary is designed to be gospel-centered. Finding the relationship between Christocentric hermeneutics and lexionary is essential to assess the extent to which these two elements can strengthen the faith of the congregation. Biblical and field research shows that both Jesus and his disciples applied a Christocentric approach to Bible reading and teaching. Luke 24:25-27 shows that Jesus is the central figure of the preaching in the Torah, the prophets, and the Psalms. Because in Luke 24:44 Jesus emphasizes the importance of reading the Bible with a Christocentric perspective. Colossians 1:15-20 is an example that shows the connection of this perspective to the theme of God's creation and salvation. The results of the study also showed that the cristocentric perspective was valid both in the context of Christian hermeneutics and in general, with survey analysis showing a positive correlation between Christocentric hermeneutics and lexionary sermons intended for congregations.

This meta-analysis investigated the effect of life satisfaction on Sarcoidosis treatment outcomes across 47 studies encompassing 8,932 patients. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation between life satisfaction and treatment success (r = 0.62, p < 0.001). Patients with high life satisfaction scores (>7.5/10) demonstrated a 73% higher likelihood of achieving remission compared to those with low scores (<5/10) (OR = 2.84, 95% CI: 2.31-3.49). Regression analysis indicated that each one-point increase in life satisfaction scores was associated with an 18% reduction in Sarcoidosis relapse rates (β = -0.18, p = 0.002). Treatment adherence and health behaviors were found to mediate the relationship between life satisfaction and Sarcoidosis treatment outcomes, accounting for 42% and 35% of the variance, respectively. Moderator analyses demonstrated stronger effects among patients with disease duration <5 years (p = 0.011) and those with mild to moderate disease severity (p = 0.003). These findings extend the work of Lee et al. (2020) and Martínez-García et al. (2021) by demonstrating a more pronounced effect of life satisfaction on Sarcoidosis treatment compared to other chronic conditions. Notably, contrary to Saketkoo et al (2021) previous study, the effect of life satisfaction remained significant even after controlling for patients' socioeconomic factors (β = 0.41, p < 0.001). These results underscore the crucial role of psychosocial interventions in enhancing Sarcoidosis treatment efficacy, offering new perspectives in the management of this chronic condition.

Integrating academic knowledge with social devotion is the focus of MTS Sabilal Muhtadin's actual work course (KKN), particularly in the area of education. This article examines how students might use digital technology, interactive teaching strategies, and individual approaches to enhance their English language proficiency. This article's field observations show that after taking part in the KKG program, students' motivation, speaking skills, and comprehension of English-language materials all improved. But it also talks about the difficulties in putting non-educational activities into practice, such the absence of educational resources and perspectives. Empowerment through KNN activities has a huge long-term impact since students' improved English proficiency may boost their competitiveness in the labour market and give them access to a variety of global information sources. All things considered, the KNN exercise at MTS Sabilal Muhtadin demonstrates how combining science and community service may benefit both students and communities at large.
