The rise of Islamophobia worldwide is often fueled by ignorance and negative stereotypes about Islam. This situation calls for more effective educational efforts to counter misinformation and restore the image of Islam as a blessing for all, or Rahmatan lil 'Alamin. In response to this challenge, da'wah (Islamic preaching) through literature, especially novels, offers a way for readers to gain new perspectives and understand the complexities of religious life through engaging narratives that do not come across as patronizing. This study aims to identify the da'wah messages in Harlis Kurniawan's novel Bujang and Portuguese General and analyze the most dominant themes within the text. The novel serves as a potential medium for educating people, including non-Muslims, about the true teachings of Islam. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using content analysis. The data analysis involves categorizing the content, evaluating it through judges' assessments, and calculating the findings using Microsoft Excel and the Slovin formula, followed by interpretation of the results. The result of this study shows that the novel possesses 37.66% message of morality which is very dominant, 32.46% sharia messages, and of 29.88% aqida messages.

The research method is a literature review by analyzing Al-Ghazali's relevant works, such as Ihya Ulumuddin and Mizan al-'Amal. The findings show that there are four main components of education as proposed by Al-Ghazali: moral development, inculcation of religious values, learning life skills, and individual independence. These findings are relevant to the challenges of modern education, especially in the effort to form independent and moral students. Educators can look to the results of this study as a resource in designing a curriculum that facilitates students' self-reliance in a holistic manner.

Self-confidence is an important element in achieving success and happiness, and has a significant positive relationship with motivation to learn. However, many individuals face challenges in building their self-confidence due to social pressure and negative experiences. In this context, this study explores sources of motivation from a Quranic perspective, specifically through Surah At-Thaha verses 25-28, which describe Prophet Moses' plea to Allah for peace and ease in facing life's challenges. Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab provides the insight that self-confidence should be built on faith in Allah and recognition of one's potential. This study also highlights the importance of social support, appreciation, and a supportive environment in building self-confidence. This article was written with the aim of identifying spiritual leaders in the development of Islamic education. This research uses a certain type of library research. Reviewing various periodicals and relevant reference volumes is known as library research. The research findings show that spiritual leadership is a strategy to persuade other people to carry out activities in accordance with the ideals and principles taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW to achieve a certain goal. Spiritual leadership is the process of persuading others to take beneficial actions to achieve certain goals. The Prophet Muhammad is considered an influence in Islam because of his leadership style. Loyalty is one of the main characteristics that characterizes spiritual leadership. In this context, loyalty shows that both leaders and followers must obey Allah SWT in terms of goals, uphold Islamic law and values, maintain integrity, be disciplined, be consistent, and not be arrogant. In Islamic educational institutions, spiritual leadership is implemented through instilling ideals that are focused on both life in this world and the afterlife. To fulfill their responsibilities, madrasah principals and teachers must do more than fulfill their administrative and instructional duties; they must also serve Allah SWT. By emulating the leadership qualities exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, such as effective communication between the head of the madrasah and its members, the head of the madrasah as a motivator, fairness, honesty, trustworthiness, deliberation, and applying the principles of discipline, madrasahs can also implement spiritual leadership.

Determining a monodisciplinary strategy for the advancement of science and its use in scientific integration is the aim of this research. This research uses a certain type of library research. To conduct descriptive research, researchers use words and not lists of data. These words can basically provide a general overview or explain current problems and their solutions. Content analysis is the data analysis method used, and places high priority on explaining the content of various existing propositions that arise from various theories and previous analyzes carried out by other researchers. The research findings show that a monodisciplinary approach is an approach whose foundation is solely on the scientific subject in question, without merging or combining it with other scientific fields. All sciences operate under monodisciplinary supervision, support, and motivation. Monodisciplinarity itself regulates scientific research and theoretical conclusions.   A narrowly focused approach to science will result in a narrow view of religion and an interpretation of religion that has nothing to do with the research environment. The urgency of this interdisciplinary study is achieved by creating a paradigm that needs to be implanted in society by: Switching from a format based on formalism to a substantive format, changing universalism from exclusivism, research, study, and improvements both internal and external (inside and outside).

The application of the philosophy of progressive education within the Merdeka Curriculum aims to create a more student-centered education system that encourages active and contextual learning. Progressivism emphasizes the importance of hands-on experiences and the development of critical thinking skills through real projects and discussions. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, this approach allows students to explore their interests and talents more independently, with teachers acting as facilitators guiding the learning process. Through project-based learning, collaboration, and authentic assessment, the Merdeka Curriculum provides students with the opportunity to explore their interests and talents. This research identifies various strategies that educators can adopt to integrate the principles of progressivism, such as using active learning methods and allowing freedom in choosing learning materials. The implementation of the progressive philosophy presents several challenges, including teachers' readiness to adopt new roles, the need to adjust the curriculum to local contexts, and the availability of adequate resources. However, this application also offers significant opportunities to enhance the quality of education by producing graduates who are more adaptive, creative, and capable of solving complex problems. This study highlights how the application of progressive philosophy in the Merdeka Curriculum can increase student motivation, develop 21st-century skills, and prepare them for future challenges. Therefore, it is essential to continuously evaluate and develop this approach to align with the evolving times and national educational needs.

This article discusses the importance of developing a Christian Religious Education (PAK) model based on Christian theology and implemented through the active role of the church in carrying out the Great Commission. True Christian education does not only convey doctrinal information, but also forms the character, spirituality, and calling of the people based on the word of God. The church is positioned as a learning community and the main implementer of the contextual, transformative, and biblical theology-rooted faith education process. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach and literature study, this paper emphasizes that theological foundations, such as God as the source of education, the Bible as the basis of teaching, Christ as the focus, and the church as the implementer, are inseparable elements of PAK. Christian Religious Education based on theology provides clear direction in designing content, methods, and learning objectives that are in line with God's will. Thus, this education model is expected to be able to answer the challenges of the times, strengthen the faith of the congregation, and produce strong and relevant followers of Christ in society.
