Digital transformation in higher education has reshaped learning patterns and students’ academic practices, including how they manage and complete academic tasks. On the one hand, digital learning offers flexibility and easy access to learning resources; on the other hand, it has intensified tendencies toward academic task procrastination. This study aims to analyze students’ academic task procrastination as a socially constructed reality within the context of digital learning. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and lecturers and analyzed using Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann’s social construction theory, encompassing the processes of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The findings indicate that task procrastination is externalized through flexible learning schedules, digital media distractions, fatigue with instructional methods, and academic pressure. These practices are subsequently objectivated through students’ collective experiences and social relations with lecturers, leading them to be perceived as normative behavior in digital learning. Furthermore, task procrastination is internalized as a habit and an adaptive, taken-for-granted strategy within students’ learning rhythms. This study affirms that academic task procrastination cannot be reduced to an individual problem alone; rather, it emerges from the complex interaction between technological structures, pedagogical practices, and academic social dynamics. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more reflective and contextual digital learning policies and strategies.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the SOSEK MALINDO (Malaysian-Indonesian Socio-Economic) regional collaboration program in addressing human trafficking, coordinated by the Regional Border Management Agency (BPPD) of the Riau Islands Province (Kepri). The Riau Islands Province, which borders Malaysia and Singapore, is a strategic entry point vulnerable to transnational crimes, including human trafficking. The main factors driving the people of Kepri to choose illegal routes to become Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) to Malaysia are economic pressure, limited job opportunities, attractive promises from brokers (tekong), complex and expensive official bureaucracy, and a lack of accurate information about official procedures. This situation is exploited by human trafficking networks through hidden routes, illegal ports, and methods of illegal labor and sexual exploitation. Although SOSEK MALINDO aims to improve the socio-economic welfare of communities in border areas and indirectly functions to reduce vulnerability to human trafficking, this program does not specifically make human trafficking its main focus. The BPPD plays a very important role as a liaison in cooperation with the Indonesian National Police, Immigration, and BP3MI for prevention and supervision. However, the BPPD faces challenges such as limited funding, overlapping authority between institutions, and a lack of accurate data on human trafficking. Strategic recommendations include making human trafficking a primary focus of the SOSEK MALINDO forum agenda, establishing a dedicated cross-border human trafficking task force, strengthening the BPPD's role in coordination and information gathering, and involving local communities, NGOs, and international organizations in mitigation efforts.

The phenomenon of religion-based radicalism remains a serious threat to the sustainability of national and state life, including within educational institutions. Educational institutions hold a strategic role in instilling religious values that are peaceful, tolerant, and civilized. Therefore, religious moderation education has become a vital approach as a preventive measure against radical ideologies. This study aims to examine the role and urgency of religious moderation education as a shield against radicalism in educational institutions. The research method employed is a literature study, analyzing various literatures such as books, scientific articles, and policy documents related to religious moderation and character education. The results show that religious moderation education can instill the values of tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i‘tidal (justice) in students. These values contribute significantly to forming religious attitudes that are inclusive, humanistic, and non-violent. The implementation of religious moderation education in educational institutions can be achieved through curriculum integration, educator role-modeling, the cultivation of school culture, and the strengthening of contextual religious literacy. Thus, religious moderation education plays a crucial role as an ideological and moral fortress in preventing the entry and growth of radicalism within the educational environment.

Hypertension is a chronic condition that requires long-term management due to its strong association with an increased risk of serious complications when blood pressure is not adequately controlled. One of the key factors influencing the success of hypertension management is patient adherence to antihypertensive medication. However, suboptimal adherence remains a common problem and may lead to poor therapeutic outcomes. This literature review aimed to examine the relationship between adherence to antihypertensive medication and blood pressure control among patients with hypertension. A systematic search of the literature was conducted using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases with relevant keywords combined through Boolean operators. The selected articles were screened based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, including original research articles published within the last ten years, accessible in full text, and addressing the association between medication adherence and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The findings of the reviewed studies indicate that most articles reported a significant relationship between medication adherence and blood pressure levels. Patients with higher adherence to antihypertensive therapy tended to achieve better blood pressure control compared to those with lower adherence. Although variations in the strength of the reported associations were observed across studies, the overall direction of the relationship was consistent. These results suggest that adherence to antihypertensive medication plays an essential role in achieving optimal blood pressure control. Therefore, this review highlights the importance of continuous efforts to improve patient adherence as part of effective hypertension management strategies aimed at reducing the risk of long-term complications.

The energy that is stored in water can be used to generate electricity by taking advantage of the potential energy available, like the energy from waterfalls and the movement of flowing water. Micro-hydropower plants (PLTMH) are one solution to address the energy crisis, particularly in electricity. VDI 2221 is a method that German engineers use as a guideline when designing construction projects. The VDI (Verein Deutsher Ingeneure or German Engineers Association) design process involves several stages: task description, design concept determination, physical design, and detailed design. Based on the solution principle matrix table, 3 variants were obtained, each of which has criteria. Of the 3 variants that have been evaluated, variant 2 was obtained with results that met the requirements. The cost analysis table shows that the total cost for designing a prototype test equipment for a micro-hydroelectric power plant (PLTMH) based on a laboratory-scale crossflow turbine is Rp 10,032,000. This cost includes instrumentation, control and electrical panels, measuring instruments, pipe instruments, frame and casing, and unforeseen costs.

Mu'tazilah is an ancient Islamic theological school of thought that has had a significant influence on the growth of rational and scholarly Islamic thought. This paper aims to examine the historical journey of Mu'tazilah since its emergence after the Tahkim incident following the Battle of Siffin. It explores the dynamics of cross-debate that accompanied it and its contribution to the advancement of science during the Abbasid dynasty, especially during the reigns of Caliphs al-Ma'mun and al-Mu'tasim. Using a descriptive historical approach and conceptual analysis, this study proves that the main concepts of Mu'tazilah, such as al manzilah bayna al manzilatayn and the focus on rationality, not only sparked theological debates but also stimulated the modernization of academic traditions through translation movements and the solidification of educational institutions such as Bait al Hikmah. Although the authoritarian implementation of Mu'tazilah teachings through mihnah regulations led to public resistance and contributed to its downfall, the intellectual legacy of Mu'tazilah is still relevant in the contemporary context. The rational ideas of Mu'tazilah are embodied in the concept of modern Islamic reform, including the views of Harun Nasution in Indonesia and the works of theological figures such as al Jahiz, who made significant contributions to the disciplines of linguistics and sociology. This study confirms that the rational and critical methods of Mu'tazilah still have important value in the development of Islamic theology that is interactive, adaptive, and sensitive to the challenges of the modern era.

Academic productivity is a vital indicator of student success in higher education, but it is often hampered by the complexity of tasks, transitions in the learning environment, and digital distractions that trigger procrastination. This phenomenon demands a high degree of adaptability so that students do not become trapped in physical and mental exhaustion due to unmanaged workloads. Therefore, this study aims to analyze in depth the causal relationship between time management skills and academic productivity, as well as investigate their role in mitigating academic stress levels in students. The research method applied is a literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The research data was sourced from secondary data in the form of 21 reputable scientific articles (national and international journals) published between 2020 and 2025. The data analysis process was carried out through the stages of data reduction, synthesis of findings, and narrative conclusion drawing to systematically map the relationship between variables. The results and discussion of the study show that time management has a significant positive correlation with improved learning achievement. Specific indicators such as daily schedule planning, priority setting, and self-regulation have been empirically proven to increase task completion efficiency and Grade Point Average (GPA) achievement. Conversely, poor time management was identified as a major predictor of cognitive overload and exhaustion, especially among students with dense curricula such as engineering majors. This study concludes that mastery of time management is not merely a scheduling tool, but a fundamental cognitive strategy that functions as a coping mechanism to maintain mental health and achieve an optimal study-life balance.
