Total Quality Management (TQM) in education has become an important issue in line with increasing societal demands for quality educational services and student satisfaction. Improving educational quality not only depends on the curriculum but also on the effective implementation of quality management principles in educational institutions, including secondary schools, universities, and Islamic boarding schools. This article aims to provide a literature review on the concept, implementation, and impact of quality management on customer satisfaction in the context of Islamic education, addressing two research questions: (1) How are the concepts and practices of quality management implemented? and (2) What are the drivers and barriers to successful implementation?. The method employed is a qualitative literature review, with scholarly articles retrieved from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) using the keyword “integrated quality management in education.” The search focused on publications from 2020 to 2025, yielding 30 initial articles. After screening and selecting based on relevance and focus on customer satisfaction, 5 main articles were analyzed in depth. The review revealed three main trends: (1) implementation of integrated quality management enhances service quality and student satisfaction; (2) leadership and curriculum management are key factors for success; and (3) continuous evaluation strategies and staff competency development promote stakeholder satisfaction. In conclusion, systematic quality management in education positively impacts customer satisfaction, and further research is needed to conduct comparative studies across institutions and to explore the integration of digital quality management systems.

As an important condition for successful learning, strategic classroom management contributes to the creation of a conducive learning environment. The purpose of this study is to examine how classroom management and a conducive learning environment are interrelated and how both contribute to improving teaching standards in the classroom. A literature review is the process used, which involves examining various sources, including books, scientific publications, and previous research findings relevant to the subject. The research findings show that classroom management includes social interaction, behavior control, and the emotional atmosphere of the classroom, in addition to its physical components. To foster a supportive and effective learning environment, teachers play the roles of educators, instructors, mentors, coaches, advisors, innovators, and role models. Effective classroom management creates a supportive learning atmosphere where students feel safe, comfortable, and inspired to engage fully. The success of this management is also influenced by elements such as organizational structure, social-emotional connections, and physical conditions of the classroom. Therefore, the mutually beneficial relationship between classroom management and a supportive learning environment is an important foundation for improving learning standards and successfully achieving educational goals.

This study aims to analyze the influence of price, product quality, service quality, and location on consumer purchase decisions at Hisana Fried Chicken Wonokusumo Surabaya Branch. Hisana Fried Chicken is a local fast-food business known for its affordable prices and strategic locations close to residential areas, making marketing factors such as price, product quality, service quality, and location essential determinants of consumer behavior. The main problem addressed in this study is the limited availability of comprehensive research that simultaneously examines these four variables in the context of local fast-food businesses, which have different characteristics from large franchise brands. The study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, involving 100 respondents who have made prior purchases. All research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, and the model met all classical assumption criteria. The findings reveal that price, product quality, service quality, and location have a significant positive effect both partially and simultaneously on purchase decisions, with price identified as the dominant variable, indicating strong consumer sensitivity to affordability. The research model produced an Adjusted R² value of 0.616, meaning that 61.6% of the variation in purchase decisions can be explained by the four independent variables included in the model. These results reinforce the importance of competitive pricing, consistent product quality, reliable service, and accessible locations in influencing consumer purchasing decisions within the local fast-food industry. Overall, this study provides empirical contributions to marketing literature and offers practical implications for Hisana Fried Chicken in improving its marketing strategies

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in teaching personal and official letter writing, and to examine its impact on improving the writing skills of Grade VII B students at SMP Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. The study is motivated by students’ difficulties in distinguishing the structure and language style of personal and official letters, as well as their low engagement in the learning process. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The instruments included writing tests (pre-test and post-test) and observation sheets to assess students’ activities and attitudes. The results indicate that PBL positively influences students' writing abilities. This is evidenced by a significant increase in the average post-test scores compared to the pre-test, along with improvements in critical thinking, collaboration, and independence. Students also demonstrated better understanding of the structural and linguistic features of both types of letters. Thus, the PBL model is recommended as an effective instructional strategy to enhance the quality of writing instruction, particularly within the framework of the Kurikulum Merdeka.

This study aims to analyze the influence of fertilizer prices and selling prices on the sustainability of apple farming, with apple quality serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted in Andonosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, which is one of the main apple-producing areas in East Java. A quantitative approach with path analysis techniques was employed to determine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. Data were collected from 96 apple farmers using structured questionnaires. The findings indicate that fertilizer prices do not have a direct effect on the sustainability of apple farming. However, fertilizer prices significantly affect apple quality, which in turn indirectly influences the sustainability of farming activities. Meanwhile, selling prices have a significant direct impact on both apple quality and the sustainability of apple farming. These results demonstrate that apple quality acts as an important mediating factor between fertilizer prices and selling prices in maintaining sustainable farming practices. Therefore, improving apple quality is a key strategy to strengthen the sustainability of apple farming, especially in facing the challenges of fluctuating fertilizer and market prices. This study provides useful insights for policymakers and farmers in developing strategies to enhance productivity and sustainability in apple agribusiness.
