This qualitative literature review explores the advances and challenges in predicting SME failures, focusing on methodological trends, data imbalance solutions, and model validation practices. Over recent years, machine learning techniques have gained prominence, replacing traditional statistical models and improving predictive accuracy. Key strategies for overcoming data imbalance, such as Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and cost-sensitive learning, have also been highlighted. However, challenges persist, particularly in model interpretability, generalization, and overfitting. The review emphasizes the need for continuous refinement of predictive models and validation practices to ensure real-world applicability. The findings suggest that while considerable progress has been made, future research should aim to enhance model transparency and address limitations in data representation to improve SME failure prediction across diverse contexts.

The purpose of this study is to see how the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) model can help students analyze Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons at SMK Pesantren Darul Dakwah. PBL is used to teach students to think critically, analytically, and find solutions to religious problems. This study used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (PTK) design, which was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that PBL can help students analyze PAI materials. This was evident by the observation results which showed better task assessment, and more active and critical student participation in group discussions. This research proposes a wider application of PBL model in Islamic Education learning in SMK to improve students' understanding and analysis skills in the context of religious learning.

This research aims to develop a fun learning model based on interactive wordwall games on informative text reading material in class V of Bangbayang 2 Elementary School, Cianjur Regency. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The designed media is then validated by the validator using a validation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Product validation consists of material and media experts. To practice product quality, this is done by filling out teacher and student response questionnaires. Then, the effectiveness test is carried out by giving evaluation questions to students. The results of media research obtained a validity level of 86% from the material aspect in the very valid category, 80% from the media aspect in the valid category. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of interactive wordwall media using a fun learning model in Indonesian language learning in class V elementary school is declared practical, effective, and suitable for use in learning.

Identify the effect of the Deans model on improving students' mental motivation compared to students who learn by the methods used, measuring the extent to which the Deniz model affects learning the skills of preparation and receiving volleyball transmissions. The researchers used the experimental method, and the research sample included students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Anbar for the academic year 2024/2025, numbering (40) students; the following research tests were used for the purpose of achieving the research objectives Test the skill of receiving the transmission of the arms from the bottom, testing the skill of preparation from the top with the fingers, mental motivation test The skill tests and mental motivation were conducted after the research sample was completed after it completed the implementation of the program, and at the same time, the method and conditions in which the pre-tests were conducted.  The following statistical parameters were used. Calculates both the percentage values and the mean. And standard deviation. Torsion coefficient and T-test for correlated samples. Through the analysis of the evidence and its statistical processing, it was found that the values of (T) calculated for the test of the skill of receiving the transmitter, preparation, and mental motivation are all significant values when compared to the tabular value of (2.02) at the degree of freedom (39) and the level of significance (0.05). The research results showed that applying the Deniz model had a significant positive effect on mental motivation. It increased students' motivation and self-motivation, which contributed to improved mental performance and concentration during performance. The study also showed that using the Deniz model in training had a major role in improving the skills of receiving transmissions and preparation in volleyball. The ability to receive transmissions with greater accuracy has improved, allowing the ball to be directed more effectively for setup.

Students have low confidence in PAI learning can be seen from the symptoms that look like hesitant while speaking in front of the class and silence when appointed Master to move forward in the front of the class. The confidence of manifests is comfortable in the environment where the individual is so that individuals feel confident of a step and decision he takes to achieve its expected goals. Confidence is necessary to students to create a good learning attitude so that it can achieve optimal learning achievement. To answer this, the Role Playing model is to complete it, the implementation of the Role Playing learning model in increasing confidence, with the goal to obtain information about the level and the extent to which the Role Playing learning model can increase confidence. For research methods, researchers use descriptive qualitative methods. Interviews, observation and documentation as data collection. And Miles and Hubberman techniques as the data analysis technique, with the procedure of analysis, with the procedure 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation and 4) Verification of data, as well as data inspection techniques 1) credibitiasi, 2) Tranferability and 3) The dependability as the result of this research is a learning model of role playing can increase student confidence, on the other hand the dominant students are more understandable about the material taught, given the students of elementary school 1 tend to be active and expressive so it can be said the role playing model is very relevant to the students of elementary school class. The goal to be achieved from this study is to Improve Critical and Creative Thinking Skills, as well as Increase Students' Interest in Learning Biology in Class XI A4 SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi Through the Application of the Synectics, Mind Maps, Cooperative Learning (SM2CL) Learning Model. The problems in this study are low interest in learning students; Students are more likely to be passive when studying; Teachers have never used learning models that can make students think critically and creatively; Learning is more teacher-centered. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The results of the research conducted in class XI A4 of SMA Negeri 1 Airmadidi showed that the acquisition of scores in the first cycle with a classical completion percentage of 38.88% increased to 66.66% in the second cycle. Although the classical completeness did not reach 75%, individually. Namely, 24 out of 36 students got a satisfactory score above the KKM, the highest score of 95, and the lowest score of 85 in cycle II. The score obtained from the learning interest questionnaire in the first cycle was at the percentage of 68% to 70% in the second cycle, and both were in a good category. Then, subject teachers and the school need to consider and evaluate some things, namely, the character of 12 students who did not want to do assignments at all from cycle I to cycle II.

This study aims to develop a Learning Management System (LMS) for kepalangmerahan management education in the Indonesian Red Cross Youth at SMK Wiworotomo Purwokerto The methodology employed is the Knowledge Management System Life Cycle (KMSLC) with the Meyer and Zack cycle approach, along with the spiral knowledge model by Nonaka and Takeuchi. Network infrastructure involves the internet, wireless access points, and private internet networks. Hardware and software include android devices with browser applications. Resource and data identification is carried out through discussions, interviews, and data entry, utilizing sources from PMR trainers, the Indonesian Red Cross website, and scholarly literature. The Knowledge Management (KM) team consists of PMR trainers, LMS developers, administrators, and PMR members. The system is implemented using WordPress and the TutorLMS plugin, with verification and validation testing conducted through black box testing. The research results demonstrate the successful development of the kepalangmerahan management education LMS in PMR SMK Wiworotomo Purwokerto, with a specific focus on disaster management education materials. This study contributes to improving effective learning access within PMR.

TANDUR type quantum learning aims to make mathematics more interactive and fun to learn. The main goal of this model is to increase students' desire to learn, improve their writing skills, and create effective communication between teachers and students. Through systematic processes such as Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate, students learn about things related to everyday life. Additionally, this approach creates a dynamic learning environment, encourages active participation, and enables meaningful learning. Through a structured and experience-based approach, the TANDUR type quantum learning model is expected to continuously improve students' literacy and writing skills.

Islamic education in the era of globalization faces the challenge of remaining relevant to the times without losing its Islamic identity. Al-Irsyad Satya Islamic School, as one of the leading educational institutions, implements the Cambridge curriculum integrated with Islamic values to provide quality education that is internationally oriented. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at the preschool level at Al-Irsyad Satya, focusing on the implementation strategy, the challenges faced, and the impact on learning development.This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and principals, as well as direct observation of the learning process in preschool classes. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on qualitative analysis steps. The results showed that the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at Al-Irsyad Satya is done through the integration of Cambridge-based academic materials with Islamic values, such as noble morals and Islamic manners, which are taught in every learning activity. Challenges faced include adjusting the international curriculum to local needs and training teachers to ensure a deep understanding of both aspects. Nevertheless, the impact is very positive, especially in developing students' academic abilities, Islamic character and social skills as a whole. This study concludes that the integrative approach implemented by Al-Irsyad Satya Islamic School can serve as a model for other Islamic education institutions in adopting the international curriculum without losing Islamic values.

Ethnomathematics is one of the approaches that integrates local wisdom with mathematics learning. This study aims to develop PBL-based LKPD with ethnomathematics nuances at the Maimun Palace. This research method is research and development (Research and Development). The development model used as the basis for this study is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of the study showed that the LKPD developed was included in the valid category, for the average overall result of the LKPD validation assessment from the three validators was 4.35. In the implementation, the response of students to the LKPD with an average score of 4.48 was categorized as very good and met the practicality of the LKPD, so it did not need to be revised again. The PBL-based LKPD with ethnomathematics nuances produced, along with its supporting instruments, have met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

This research aims to enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes by implementing a contextual learning model utilizing clinometer paraji as a teaching aid. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles, each involving the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants in this study were grade X students from SMK Yadika Pasuruan. Data collection was carried out through observations of teacher and student activities, tests to measure learning outcomes, and student response questionnaires regarding the applied learning model. The findings reveal that the contextual learning model using clinometer paraji media effectively improves students' mathematics learning outcomes. Furthermore, students showed enthusiasm and increased interest in mathematics when learning through this approach. Therefore, the clinometer-based contextual learning model is a practical and effective method for teaching mathematics.

Preliminary study as the basis for development of discovery learning-based booklet media. The purpose of this study is to describe the data of the initial research stage obtained as a basis for developing learning media and learning based on research results that will be made in the future. The development model applied in this study is the Plomp model, which has reached the initial data investigation stage. Instruments for collecting data include interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the student needs questionnaire revealed that students agreed that it was necessary to develop a discovery learning-based booklet with a percentage of 81.8%. The learning media that has been used in learning is less effective so that students are less able to understand the subject matter. So it can be concluded that there is a need for the development of booket media based on discovery learning of calm digestive system material in humans in grade VIII of SMPN Siak Hulu.

:Pakistan is a developing country. Its transportation infrastructure mainly consists of road network. About 95% passengers and fright is transported using the road network. This high demand on road network is because of the unreliable railway system between the cities. Due to such high demand on road network the accident involvement risk of an individual is much high as compared to developed countries. This study uses a new modeling approach to estimate road safety risk for WTP.  A correlated random parameters Tobit model (heterogeneity-in-mean) is integrated with machine learning (Decision tree).  The decision tree categorizes higher-order interactions, while the model captures unobserved correlations and heterogeneity. The framework examines WTP determinants using a representative sample of 3178 road users from Pakistan. The model estimates WTP for different (fatal and severe injury) risk reductions to monetize road traffic crash costs. Results show maximum respondents are willing to support safety improvement policies. The model reveals significant WTP heterogeneity linked to perceptions of road safety and accident risk. Systematic preference heterogeneity emerges through higher-order interactions, offering insights into WTP relationships. Marginal effects highlight varying sensitivities to explanatory variables, quantifying their impact on WTP probability and magnitude. The framework provides two key contributions. It identifies public WTP determinants, emphasizing heterogeneous effects. It also helps in prioritization safety policies by understanding public sensitivity to WTP. The insights further emphasizing on the importance of road safety interventions to the specific socio-economic profiles of road users. This study offers a significant contribution to road safety improvement by providing valuable recommendations for policy makers. By integrating detailed socio-economic factors, it also addresses the urgent need for targeted traffic safety interventions in Pakistan. These findings are expected to aid policymakers and stakeholders in developing effective strategies to enhance road safety and reduce the accident involvement risk effectively.

Wusto education is an Islamic values-based learning approach that aims to shape student character while improving academic achievement. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the implementation of wusto education on student learning achievement at PGRI 1 Ciambar Junior High School, Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency. This study used descriptive quantitative methods involving 100 students as samples. Data were collected through questionnaires, learning achievement tests, and interviews with teachers to better understand the implementation of wusto education in the school curriculum. The results showed that wusto education contributed positively to students' learning achievement. After the implementation of the wusto education program, there was an 18% increase in students' average academic score. In addition, the implementation of wusto education is able to shape better student characters, such as discipline, responsibility and honesty. The excellent programs of wusto education, such as halaqah, character-based learning and religious activities, have a significant impact on strengthening students' moral values. The integration of wusto education at SMP PGRI 1 Ciambar is done by incorporating religious values into general subjects and extracurricular activities. Teachers play an active role in managing learning that is balanced between academics and character building. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that wusto education is significantly able to improve student learning achievement while forming superior character. The recommendation of this study is to expand the implementation of wusto education in other schools as a strategy to improve the quality of education.

This study aims to develop e-comic-based learning media to enhance the motivation of Grade XII students at SMA Kolombo in learning adjusting journal entries for service companies. The research employed the ADDIE development model with a control group experimental design. Media evaluations indicated that the e-comic is highly feasible, scoring 4.77 from media experts, 3.88 from material experts, and 5.27 from Accounting teachers. Data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires showed a significant motivation improvement in the experimental class, with average scores increasing from 90.62 to 105.69, compared to a less significant increase in the control group. An independent t-test confirmed significant differences between the groups (p < 0.05), demonstrating the e-d effectiveness. This study recommends e-comic media as an engaging, interactive, and efficient innovation to improve students' motivation in learning accounting concept..

This research was intended to find out the utizilation of Canva for education to enhance the students' writing skills in a Project-Based learning among the students in Culinary Program Vocational High School. In this research, a PJBL was conducted to close the gap and enhance the students' writing skills in writing an exposition text using Canva for education. A Descriptive qualitative method was proposed to investigate the problem of the research. The data was collected using observation and  questionnaire, and the researcher used purposive sampling to select the data. Thirty-six students in grade 11 are in the Culinary Program of SMKN 6 Yogyakarta as the research data. The results show project-based learning by integrating the Canva app successfully and using the Canva application in the PjBL model to enhance the student's writing skills, especially in Exposition text. It is also supported by the questionnaire of students' perception of using the Canva application. Most of the students agree that using Canva in writing Project of Exposition text can ease their understanding of the learning material, explore their idea and creativity and enable them to focus more on the writing project.

Skin cancer (SC) is a highly serious kind of cancer that, if not addressed swiftly, might result in the patient’s demise. Early detection of this condition allows for more effective therapy and prevents disease development. Deep Learning (DL) approaches may be used as an effective and efficient tool for SC detection (SCD). Several DL-based algorithms for automated SCD have been reported. However, more efficient models are needed to improve accuracy. As a result, this paper introduces a new strategy for SCD based on Grey Wolf optimization (GWO) methodologies and CNN. The proposed methodology has four stages: preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. The proposed method utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to extract features from Regions of Interest (ROIs). CNN is employed for feature categorization, whereas the GWO approach enhances accuracy by refining edge detection and segmentation. This technique utilizes a probabilistic model to accelerate the convergence of the GWO algorithm. Employing the GWO model to optimize the structure and weight vectors of CNNs can enhance diagnostic accuracy by a minimum of 5%, based on evaluation outcomes. The application of the proposed strategy and its performance comparison with other methods indicate that the proposed method with GWO predicted SC with an average accuracy of 95.11% and without GWO an Accuracy of 92.66%, respectively, enhancing accuracy by a minimum of 2.5% when we train our model with GWO.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of developing digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study and student responses to the development of digital teaching materials for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on Case Study. The development of digital textbooks for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study was developed using the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan, which includes four stages, namely the definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. However, this dissemination stage was not carried out because this study did not measure the effectiveness of the product or student learning outcomes. The feasibility of the developed textbook was determined based on an assessment by material, language, and graphic validation experts. From the overall assessment of the validation experts, the average result of the textbook's feasibility was 87.33% with a very feasible category. Based on this percentage, it can be stated that the digital textbook for Introduction to Administrative and Management Science based on case study is feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process of the Introduction to Administrative and Management Science course. Student responses were carried out with a limited trial on 20 students of the Office Administration Education Study Program. The student response sheet consists of 6 components of eligibility, namely the format, relevance, attention, satisfaction, understanding of the material, and confidence in learning outcomes, where the overall assessment of students obtained an average eligibility result of 86.66% which can be interpreted that the digital textbook Introduction to Administrative Science and Management based on case studies is feasible and interesting to use in the learning process of the Introduction to Administrative Science and Management course.

Hikayat as a classic work is often not widely understood by vocational school (Vocational High School) students who are related to various aspects such as language, culture and the historical context contained in the saga. Therefore, the researcher wants to solve the problem by researching directly into a class which also carries out teaching assistance activities in accordance with the requirements for completing semester 7. The subject of this research uses classroom action research. The subjects in this research were class X-I Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) students at Bina Jaya Vocational School. This research aims to find out how the use of saga as the level of knowledge of class (Computer Network Engineering), and how after carrying out the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in analyzing the values contained in the saga text. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data obtained was carried out through three cycles used in the pre-test-post phase of this research. Cycle I includes planning and implementation (acting), observation (observing), and evaluating (evaluating) learning activities as well as reflection (reflecting).

Forming a student's character can start with the importance of a student learning about leadership.  The leadership of Rasulullah Muhammad SAW is a leadership model that can be implemented in organizations. Islamic leadership is the entire process of influencing, encouraging, inviting, moving and guiding other people in the work process to think and act in accordance with applicable rules in order to achieve goals set based on the values ​​of the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah. Leadership in Islam is very important because it functions to create public problems and realize equal prosperity for all citizens. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. This research is qualitative research. This research was conducted at the SMPIT Bina Benuanta Tanjung Selor school by providing material exposure to learners or students with the hope of forming and encouraging a culture of quality Islamic education in understanding and developing Islamic leadership practices so that quality education, with integrity and oriented towards Islamic values, is realized.
