The present study was conducted during school closure during the pandemic period, from 2020 to 2022. This study aims to explore teachers’ responses to the difficulties in using the online platform, and how teachers cope with the challenges in running online classes. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study participants were seven junior high school teachers in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. They had mixed work experiences. The results of the study showed that teachers responded differently to the demand for teaching using an online platform. Most teachers conducted online classes on a pro forma basis in order to comply with government policies. They viewed themselves unprepared to participate in online classes. The study also found teachers’ difficulties in teaching online classes due to students’ lack of adequate knowledge, skills and motivation in utilizing the online platforms provided by their schools. The study concludes that there is a need for comprehensive training and support for teachers to effectively adapt to online teaching methods. Additionally, it suggests that schools should invest in improving students' digital literacy skills to enhance their engagement and success in online learning environments.

Contextual learning theory emphasizes the importance of the learning environment and real-life situations in the learning process. When applied to the teaching of the Arabic language, this approach focuses on integrating language learning with the cultural, social, and historical contexts of the Arab world. By doing so, it aims to make the learning experience more engaging, meaningful, and relevant to the students. This approach recognizes that language is deeply connected to culture, and therefore, language learning should not be isolated from its cultural context. Learning can be viewed as a system with various components, including objectives, learning media, class organization, evaluation, and follow-up. Learning can also be seen as a process that involves preparation, implementation, and follow-up of learning. The learning approach during the time of the Prophet and classical ulama involved religious, aqliyah and ilmiyah, morals and physical education. Education during the time of the Prophet focused on strengthening the belief in monotheism and equality as well as teaching reading and writing. Classical scholars also developed the study of Arabic, tajwid, qiraat, and tafsir. In the modern era, learning innovation and the use of technology, especially smartphones, have become important in maximizing education. Technology-based learning, such as e-learning, can increase students' interest and motivation to learn. Reading is also key in the early stages of learning to understand and increase students' understanding and self-confidence. Apart from that, education in the era of globalization and industrial revolution 4.0 faces complex challenges. The concept of "Free Learning Education" is an effort to create human resources who are able to face global changes and challenges with the ability to innovate and openness. Education needs to be designed to address the complex challenges of the future.

This research aims to find a significant relationship between parental care in class IV of SD Negeri 064072 Medan Polonia and their motivation to study with the research title "The Relationship between Parenting Patterns and the Learning Motivation of Class 4 Students of SD Negeri 064027 Medan Polonia T.A 2023/ 2024”. The data collection technique or instrument used is a questionnaire whose validity and reliability are tested. The sample in this study was 30 grade IV elementary school students. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, relationship coefficient test, and hypothesis test. The research results showed that the correlation coefficient data calculation obtained a correlation interpretation value of 0.985. The value of 0.985 is located between the coefficients 0.80-1.00. So it can be concluded that: 1) the magnitude of the correlation coefficient between the independent variable Parenting Patterns (X) and the dependent variable learning motivation (Y) SD Negeri 064027 Medan Polonia T.A 2023/2-24 is classified at a very high level. 2) The normality test obtained an average value of 87.003. Based on the calculations, it is found that Lcount = 0.14133 and Ltabel = 0.161 with a significance level of α = 0.05, so Lcount < Ltabel (0.14133 < 0.161) which means the Ho hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. 3) From a level of 28, the ttable obtained at a 5% significance level is 2.001717468. So it is concluded that there is a positive relationship between parenting patterns and the learning motivation of class IV students at SD Negeri 064027 Medan Polonia for the 2023/2024 academic year.

This research is motivated by: 1) the existence of various facts which show that students' reading comprehension abilities and reading motivation are relatively low; 2) the ability to find the main idea in a paragraph is very important in understanding a reading text. This research was carried out to determine the effect of the motivation-based Scaffolded Reading method on improving students' learning outcomes in finding the main idea in a paragraph. The research was carried out in class IX-C of SMPN 2 Balaraja. The method used in the research is an experimental method with a quantitative approach.  After knowing the results of data analysis that the application of the scaffolded reading method is effective in improving the ability to find the main idea in a paragraph, it is best to use this technique as an alternative learning technique in learning reading comprehension to improve reading skills.

This article discusses the importance of learning with children as an effective way to enhance their educational experience. Holistic learning is an educational approach that recognizes that a child's development is not limited to academic achievement only, but involves other aspects such as physical, emotional and social interactions. The main goal of holistic education is to develop children as a whole, including life skills, values and deep understanding of themselves and their surroundings. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has become a significant approach in the realm of education aimed at enhancing students' abilities to solve real-world problems. This paper delves into the integration of PBL within curriculum planning as an endeavor to create a more meaningful and pertinent learning environment for students. PBL amalgamates theoretical concepts with practical applications in problem-solving, enabling students to hone critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills. This research scrutinizes strategies for implementing PBL within curriculum planning, encompassing the identification of curriculum-relevant issues, structuring structured learning steps, and evaluating learning outcomes. The success of PBL within the curriculum context hinges upon schools' and teachers' capacities to design adaptable and flexible curricula. Teachers assume a pivotal role as learning facilitators, guiding students in exploring problems, fostering collaboration, and nurturing profound comprehension. Furthermore, this study underscores the advantages of integrating PBL into the curriculum, including heightened student motivation, fortified problem-solving skills, and preparing students to confront real-world challenges.

Conformity, or the tendency to conform attitudes and behaviors to group norms, can affect students' learning motivation and academic achievement. This article discusses the impact of conformity on students' learning motivation and academic achievement from two sides, namely positive impact and negative impact. On the positive side, conformity within certain limits can help students adapt to the school environment and encourage them to learn to be accepted in the group. But on the other hand, excessive pressure to conform to peers can reduce students' internal motivation to learn and achieve. Students tend to only study as needed to be accepted in the group and their academic performance decreases. Therefore, a balance is needed, where students maintain their uniqueness while adapting positively to the group. Thus, conformity can benefit students' learning motivation and achievement.
