This study aims to analyze the implementation of artificial intelligence in economics learning within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum and to examine its alignment with deep learning principles. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design conducted at SMAN 1 Boyolali. The research participants included economics teachers and eleventh grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, in depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the use of artificial intelligence in economics learning remains limited and has not been systematically integrated into pedagogical design. AI is primarily utilized as a supporting tool for lesson preparation and concept clarification rather than for adaptive learning, data driven assessment, or the enhancement of students’ critical thinking skills. Although students demonstrated positive responses toward AI assisted learning, several constraints were identified, including teachers’ limited pedagogical competence in AI integration, the absence of deep learning based instructional design, and infrastructural challenges. These findings suggest that the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in economics education depends not merely on technological availability, but on the alignment between pedagogy, curriculum policy, and human resource readiness.

This study analyzes the influence of Islamic business ethics principles on online buying and selling transactions in the predominantly Muslim community of South Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach through a survey of 200 respondents in Palembang with a Likert scale questionnaire, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results showed that the principle of honesty (sidq) had the strongest significant influence (β = 0.029, p = 0.002), followed by unity (tawhid) (β = 0.016, p = 0.049), while other principles such as balance, free will, and responsibility showed a positive but insignificant influence. The regression model explained 10.3% of the variation in transaction behavior (R² = 0.103). This study concluded that the application of Islamic ethics can increase trust and sustainability in e-commerce in the region, with implications for the development of halal businesses. In the future, the application of these principles is expected to mitigate ethical issues in e-commerce, such as fraud and uncertainty that often occur, as well as strengthen transparency and fairness in online transactions.

This study investigates the relationship between corporate governance characteristics, financial structure, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) disclosure in Indonesian non-financial firms. Focusing on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023, the analysis examines whether board size, the proportion of independent commissioners, and leverage influence the extent of ERM disclosure. Using a quantitative approach, multiple linear regression is applied to secondary data obtained from firms’ annual reports. The findings indicate that board size and the proportion of independent commissioners do not have a significant effect on ERM disclosure, while leverage exhibits a positive and significant relationship. This result suggests that firms with higher debt levels are more inclined to enhance risk disclosure as a mechanism to address information asymmetry and demonstrate accountability to investors and creditors. The study contributes to the ERM and corporate governance literature by providing evidence from an emerging market setting and highlighting the practical importance of financial structure in shaping risk transparency, offering relevant insights for corporate decision-makers and regulators to strengthen sustainable risk management practices.

This study empirically examines the effects of ownership structure, including managerial, institutional, and public ownership, on tax avoidance practices, using profitability as a moderating variable. The population in this study consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), from which a sample was selected using purposive sampling. A total of 330 observations were collected from 110 manufacturing companies for the period 2022–2024. The variables were tested using multiple linear regression in EViews 12. This study expands on previous research by using profitability as a moderating variable that can influence the relationship between ownership structure and tax avoidance. The results show that institutional ownership has a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance practices. An increase in institutional share ownership can reduce tax avoidance practices. Meanwhile, managerial and public ownership do not affect tax avoidance practices. In the moderation test, profitability strengthened the effect of managerial and institutional ownership on tax avoidance. Still, it did not moderate the impact between public ownership and tax avoidance.

This study investigates the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and corporate financial distress, with board gender diversity examined as a moderating variable. Using 96 firm-year observations from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2022–2024), the analysis employs variance-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings reveal that ESG performance does not exert a statistically significant effect on financial distress, and gender diversity does not moderate this relationship. These non-significant results constitute the central empirical contribution of the study, highlighting that ESG engagement and gender diversity have yet to translate into financial resilience in the Indonesian manufacturing context. The study underscores the importance of contextual factors—such as implementation costs, authenticity of ESG disclosures, and limited female representation on boards—in shaping the effectiveness of sustainability practices. The results provide theoretical implications for Stakeholder and Agency Theory and offer practical insights for managers, regulators, and investors in emerging markets.

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the way society constructs identity and interprets culture. This study aims to examine how cultural literacy and social media use influence each other in the process of cultural transformation in Indonesia. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through a review of various relevant literature sources. The results indicate that the flood of unfiltered digital information often leads to misunderstandings, shifts in cultural values, and the weakening of local identity. On the other hand, social media continues to provide significant opportunities to preserve traditions and promote local culture through various forms of digital content. This study also found that digital literacy including the ability to think critically, understand visual context, and assess the credibility of information is key to society's wise use of social media. The younger generation plays a crucial role in this process as they are the largest users of social media and the primary producers of cultural content. The synergy between cultural literacy, digital literacy, and responsible use of social media plays a role in guiding the nation's cultural transformation in a more positive direction.

The RIGEM community service program was carried out with the aim of strengthening character education for early childhood through the use of children’s songs in TK B. The background of this activity stems from concerns about the increasing exposure of children to adult songs and content, which may influence their behavior and moral values. Children’s songs were chosen as the main medium because they have simple melodies, easy-to-remember lyrics, and contain positive values that can stimulate children's cognitive, affective, and social development. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) to assess the effectiveness of the program. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of activities. The results show that the children’s songs introduced particularly those containing messages about politeness, cooperation, and responsibility were effective in improving children's understanding of moral values and encouraging positive behavioral changes. Children became more accustomed to using polite expressions, showing empathy, and cooperating during classroom activities. Teachers and parents played an important role in reinforcing these habits both at school and at home. Overall, the RIGEM program proved to be an effective, enjoyable, contextual, and easily implemented effort to foster character development in early childhood education.
