Gender identity is part of human existence in society. In Indonesia, the diversity of gender identities other than male and female, such as waria (male and female), often causes social and cultural debates. Waria are a group that are biologically born as men but express themselves as women, both in appearance and behavior. The acceptance of waria in society is not uniform. On the one hand, some people show a tolerant attitude, especially in urban areas that are more open to diversity. On the other hand, negative stigmas against waria are still widely found, which are affected by their limited access to education, work, health services, and public spaces in general. This study uses a qualitative research type. The subjects of this study are waria in Jember City. In this study, researchers use qualitative methods in collecting data by conducting direct observations to obtain data by writing, recording and explaining what is happening to get the right information. In this study, the phenomenological method was also used by searching for data through face-to-face interviews with informants and meeting the agreed informants.

Cervical cancer is a deadly disease and ranks as the fourth most common cancer among women, according to the World Health Organization. In Indonesia, it is the second most prevalent cancer affecting women. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an early screening method to detect cervical cancer, yet its coverage remains low in several areas of East Java. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior among women of reproductive age in the working area of Kowel Public Health Center. The study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 70 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing both knowledge and VIA screening behavior. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that 38 respondents had good knowledge, while 32 had poor knowledge. The chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.494 (p > 0.05) and a prevalence ratio (PR) of 1.684. These results indicate no significant relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior. However, respondents with good knowledge were 1.684 times more likely to undergo VIA screening than those with poor knowledge. It is recommended that the Kowel Health Center enhance its educational efforts through more engaging and creative counseling methods using media tools such as brochures, leaflets, posters, and animated videos, delivered both directly and via social media, to attract public interest.

Managing human resources and entrepreneurship are two crucial components of any successful organization. Human resources management focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining employees to ensure they can perform their job duties effectively. On the other hand, entrepreneurship involves the creation and development of new business ventures, products, or services. Both areas play a significant role in the overall success and growth of a company. In this paper, we will explore the intersection of human resources management and entrepreneurship, examining how these two disciplines can work together to drive innovation and organizational success. By leveraging the expertise and creativity of both HR professionals and entrepreneurs, companies can cultivate a culture of innovation and adaptability. This collaboration can lead to the development of cutting-edge products and services, as well as the implementation of forward-thinking HR practices that attract and retain top talent. However, integrating HR and entrepreneurship may also present challenges, such as balancing risk-taking with employee well-being and ensuring that organizational goals align with individual aspirations. Despite these obstacles, the potential benefits of combining these disciplines are vast, offering companies a strategic advantage in today's competitive business landscape.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport – Bali is one of the airports with the busiest flight traffic in Indonesia, for both domestic and international routes. The high intensity of operational activities on the airside demands optimal management of all supporting elements, one of which is Ground Support Equipment (GSE). GSE plays a vital role in supporting aircraft movements and handling baggage, cargo, and passengers. Therefore, the provision of well-organized Equipment Parking Area (EPA) facilities in the Make Up and Break Down areas is crucial to ensure smooth and safe operations on the apron. This paper aims to examine the effectiveness of EPA provision and management in supporting GSE work efficiency, while identifying challenges and providing solutions to various emerging problems. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation, field documentation, and analysis of the actual layout compared to the provisions of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Regulation No. PR 21 of 2023 concerning Technical and Operational Standards for Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. This research also complements EPA management practices at other airports in Indonesia, to provide a constructive comparative perspective. The study results indicate that the current management of the EPA at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is not optimal. The main problems identified include irregular parking of GSE vehicles, the absence of zoning based on vehicle type, minimal markings, and a weak monitoring system due to limited personnel. As a result, congestion often occurs on GSE operational routes, which can disrupt the smooth operation of ground handling services. Based on these findings, proposed improvements include redesigning the EPA layout based on vehicle classification, installing signs and vehicle flow maps in strategic areas, and implementing an integrated technology-based monitoring system such as CCTV and digital access control.

The energy crisis and global warming are driving the importance of energy efficiency in building design. An ideal building not only prioritizes aesthetics and function, but also energy efficiency as well as comfort and safety for its occupants. In Indonesia, the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) plays a role in promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable architectural practices. One popular method for energy efficiency is the use of eggcrate, which is a shading system in the form of lattices that reduces the intensity of sunlight, thereby lowering indoor temperatures and reducing energy use for cooling. The use of heat-reflective glass is also common in energy-efficient building design, because it reflects solar radiation and reduces incoming heat without sacrificing natural light. This reduces the workload of the air conditioning system, thereby increasing energy efficiency. According to Asih (2012), environmental control in buildings is greatly influenced by the use of glass and shading elements. Building façades, including glass areas, play an important role in energy conservation by reducing incoming heat conduction. In addition, glass also influences natural lighting and has positive psychological effects, while maintaining comfort and energy efficiency in buildings.

This study aims to analyze the suitability of the term of office of the Neighborhood Association (RT) administrators with the provisions contained in Regent Regulation Number 24 of 2020 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Neighborhood Associations. The term of office of RT administrators is an important aspect in running the government at the village/sub-district level which affects the effectiveness of community services and the sustainability of development programs. Through a normative legal research approach, this study examines whether the provisions on the term of office of RT administrators stated in the regulation are in accordance with applicable legal principles, community needs, and practices in the field. The research methods used are document studies, interviews with RT administrators and related parties, and comparative analysis with similar policies in other areas. The results of the study indicate that there are several discrepancies between the provisions on the term of office stated in the Regent Regulation and the real conditions that occur in the field. Some RT administrators have difficulty in carrying out a term of office that is too short, while others feel that a term of office that is too long can hinder the regeneration of the administration. This study recommends that there be a revision to the Regent Regulation Number 24 of 2020, by considering the existing findings, and providing space for the community to participate more actively in the process of replacing RT administrators.

Infertility, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), affects approximately 8-12% of couples of reproductive age worldwide. In Indonesia, its prevalence ranges from 10-15%, meaning about 4-6 million couples require treatment to conceive. The incidence of infertility is influenced by various factors, including access to and the quality of healthcare services. Therefore, healthcare providers’ knowledge and awareness of infertility play a crucial role in its management, leading to early detection and appropriate referrals to advanced healthcare facilities. Given the limited access to information and healthcare services in remote areas, educating and promoting early detection of infertility by healthcare providers is essential to improving healthcare quality in those regions. This community service activity aims to enhance healthcare workers' understanding of diagnosing infertility, ensuring that patients are promptly referred for further treatment. The activity took place on Friday, November 15, 2024, via Zoom Meeting, in collaboration with an experienced OB/GYN doctor in Kupang. Dengue fever, malaria, and other mosquito-borne diseases remain significant health problems and challenges in various regions, especially in rural areas. Dengue fever (DBD) is caused by the dengue virus types 1-4, which are transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. The majority of the residents of Karya Mukti Village work as rubber tappers. They usually start their activities early in the morning or even before dawn. However, mosquitoes are most active in the morning and late afternoon, making the local community highly vulnerable to mosquito bites. To address this issue, the people of Karya Mukti Village still widely use mosquito repellents available on the market, which contain harmful chemicals that pose risks to both health and the environment if used over the long term. Therefore, this community service initiative aims to conduct outreach and hands-on training on the use of citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) as a natural mosquito repellent alternative. This program is carried out using a socialization and product-making approach through participatory engagement, where Dasawisma (women's community groups) are encouraged to identify their needs and challenges, as well as appropriate solutions to address them. By involving Dasawisma members in the learning and production process of natural mosquito repellents, it is hoped that they will gain better knowledge and skills in making natural mosquito repellents.
