Humans are not merely thinking beings but also emotional and spiritual creatures. However, modern education tends to prioritize the cognitive dimension and academic achievement, while psychological and spiritual aspects are often neglected. This imbalance has resulted in the emergence of intellectually capable generations who may lack emotional maturity and moral integrity. Therefore, an educational approach that incorporates philosophical, psychological, and Islamic values is essential in shaping a holistic human being. This study aims to analyze the nature of humans from a psychological perspective and its implications for designing holistic, learner-centered education. This research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data collection was carried out through documentary studies by reading and reviewing written sources such as scientific books, journal articles, and other academic literature relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed using content analysis, which includes identifying themes, categorizing key ideas, and drawing conceptual meanings from the collected data. The results show that from a psychological perspective, humans possess innate potentials that develop through specific stages, are influenced by environmental factors, and have a fundamental need for self-actualization. Humanistic, cognitive, and behaviorist psychological approaches all contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of human nature. The findings reinforce the notion that education focused solely on cognitive development is insufficient for shaping a well-rounded personality. Therefore, the education system must be oriented toward balanced development of the cognitive, affective, socialand spiritual dimensions of learners.

The focus of the study lies in identifying and interpreting the personality structures of id, ego, and superego, as well as the ego defense mechanisms that emerge as responses to trauma and violence within the family environment. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing content analysis techniques on the narrative, dialogue, and monologue of the main character. The results indicate that Alie’s id is manifested in a deep longing for love and protection, the ego functions in adapting and adjusting to the reality of a rejecting family, while the superego is reflected through feelings of guilt and a tendency to accept mistreatment as a form of self-punishment. This study aims to examine the personality structure of the characters in the novel Areksa written by ItaKrn by utilizing a literary psychology approach based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. This study focuses more on the characters of Areksa Dirgantara and Ilona Ladeika, who experience emotional dynamics through the interaction of the three components of personality: id, ego, and superego. The method applied in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques that include in-depth reading and recording. The findings of this study indicate that the characters in the novel face significant internal conflicts, where emotional drives (id), rational considerations (ego), and moral values (superego) influence each other in the decision-making process and attitude formation. Areksa is shown as a character trapped in a dilemma between love and faith, while Ilona depicts a struggle between personal desires and existing social norms. These results emphasize how relevant Freud's theory is in understanding psychological conflicts in literary characters. Thus, a literary psychology approach can explore the inner depths of characters and enrich understanding of literary works as a reflection of the complexity of human psychology.

The application of discipline as a character education training strategy in early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping children's personality, behavior, and social skills. This study aims to analyze theoretically and practically how discipline can be applied as a character formation strategy in early childhood, considering the role of the family and school environment. The research method uses a qualitative approach through a literature review of 15 Sinta-accredited journal articles in 2020–2024. The results of the study show that positive discipline based on examples, praise, and behavioral habits is more effective than the punishment approach. Families and schools play a role as the main environment in instilling discipline values, although there are still gaps in the application of practices and adaptations in various socio-cultural contexts. This study recommends collaboration between parents and teachers, the development of creative strategies in schools, and the need for further, more in-depth research to optimize the application of discipline as a foundation for character formation in early childhood

This study aims to analyze the role of psychological assessment in improving the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services in educational settings through a qualitative literature review. Psychological assessment is a fundamental component in counseling practice that allows counselors to understand clients in depth and comprehensively. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review that analyzes journal articles, textbooks, and relevant academic publications from 2015- 2025. The results of the study indicate that psychological assessment has two main roles: first, helping counselors understand the internal dynamics, cultural context, strengths, and resources of clients; second, providing various types of assessment instruments that can be selected according to needs, including personality, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, projective, multicultural, and technology-based assessments. Appropriate assessment not only functions as a diagnostic tool but also as a therapeutic intervention that encourages client self-awareness. The implementation of quality psychological assessment is the foundation for designing effective and responsive counseling services to the individual needs of students, so that it can improve the overall quality of guidance and counseling services in educational settings.

Education plays a fundamental role as the primary foundation for shaping character, personality, and mastery of knowledge. From an Islamic perspective, the position of teachers is crucial, as they are not merely instructors but also serve as moral, spiritual, and social guides for students. This study aims to explain the uniqueness of teachers from an Islamic perspective by highlighting their status, role, and relevance in contemporary education. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a literature review, conducted through a review of relevant literature. The findings indicate that teachers are viewed as respected figures and agents of change responsible for instilling values of faith, knowledge, and noble morals in future generations. However, current reality shows that respect for teachers is often declining, as this profession is often viewed as merely a formal job without considering the inherent noble values. Therefore, this study emphasizes the urgency of renewing public understanding regarding the uniqueness of teachers from an Islamic perspective, so that their strategic position and role are maintained. The recommendations from this study invite all elements, including society, students, and policy makers, to increase respect for teachers, while teachers themselves are expected to continue to improve their professional competence, provide real examples, and serve with full sincerity for the sake of realizing a generation that is intelligent, knowledgeable, faithful, and has good morals in accordance with Islamic guidance.
