This research focuses on the relationship between reading and mathematics abilities using PISA 2022 data. The importance of literacy and numeracy as the main foundation for student development is the starting point for this research. In the midst of Indonesia's challenges in building a culture of literacy, especially at the elementary school level, this research explores the relationship between reading and mathematics abilities through analysis of PISA 2022 data. Secondary data from the PISA 2020 survey and regression analysis techniques are used to explore this relationship. The analysis results show a significant correlation between these two abilities, with a strong and positive correlation coefficient. These findings indicate that students with good reading skills tend to have better math skills. In conclusion, it is important to build literacy and numeracy from an early age at the elementary school level to prepare students to face more complex material. This research suggestion includes the development of integrated literacy and numeracy programs, updating the mathematics curriculum, teacher training, strengthening parental involvement, use of educational technology, as well as further research to understand the factors that influence the relationship between reading literacy and mathematics ability.

This article discusses a study which aims to determine the effect of using animated video media on mathematics learning outcomes in class IV students at SDN 01 Air Tawar Barat. The research used in this research is a quasi-experiment in the form of a Post-test Only Control Group research design. This design involves 2 classes, namely class IV A as a control class with 32 students and class IV B as an experimental class with 32 students. The data collection process was carried out by giving a post test to the two classes. To determine the research results, the T test formula is used. The determination of Ho is rejected if Tcount > Ttable and Ho is accepted if Tcount < Ttable. The results of the calculation test in the research stated that Tcount was 7.391 and Ttable was 1.999 at a significance level (α) of 0.05. Because Tcount > Ttable is 7.391 > 1.999, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of animated video media on mathematics learning outcomes for class IV students.

The advance of technology has affected many aspects of people’s lives. One field that also has been greatly affected by this advancement is Education. There are lots of online learning platforms that emerged in the past 2 decades. Khan Academy and IXL are two favourite examples of those platforms that are being used to help students learning Mathematics and Science. DeltaMath, although not as famous, is also of the platforms that are available and can be used to help students learning Mathematics. This study examined the impact of DeltaMath toward students’ Mathematics learning outcomes. There are 56 samples in total that are divided into 2 group of 28 students. One group is the group of students who are introduced to and are using DeltaMath as supplementary resources in their learning and the other group consisted of students that didn’t use the DeltaMath in their learning. Main findings show that: 1. The average score of the final exam of group who used DeltaMath is higher than the group of students that didn’t use DeltaMath. 2. Students who solved more than 150 questions in DeltaMath performed better in the final exam than most students, their average is 7 points higher compared to the average of all students. 3. There is no significant difference between group that are using DeltaMath compared to group of students who didn’t use DeltaMath. There are still few publications related to DeltaMath, unlike Khan Academy and IXL, thus, this study hopefully can contribute to the research of the impact of using DeltaMath.

The learning that has been carried out so far in the school tends to apply classical learning techniques that do not pay attention to the stages in the variety of learning. For this reason, a good way is needed to learn a lesson, one of which is known as a learning technique. In this research activity, the theme of mathematics learning for school children is based on the KUMON method. This technique is considered one of the solutions that is expected to increase children's academic values and awareness in learning and train children to have independence and full responsibility in the learning process. Indirectly, when repeating the material done by the child, the child will get a reinforcement value that is more than the material conveyed Repetition is intended to provide added value in learning a new material and is implicit in the hierarchical structure of the material that has been learned so that it will be self-absorbed when the child is faced with a problem that establishes a relationship to relates the past material to the future material. the regression analysis test using simple linear regression analysis with the general form of the equation formed is as follows: Y = 0.099X + 36.823. Where the learning variable affects the bound variable of learning outcomes of 0.099 and the value of the constant when no one variable influences, it will produce a learning outcome value of 36, 823. hypothesis test proved to be accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected from the results of the calculation of the value of t obtained was t calculated 6.796 greater than t tabel = 0.697 and sig = 0.763 > sig 0.05, it can be proven that the learning variable has a positive and significant effect on the learning outcome variable.
