This study aims to analyze the use of the Al-Ma’any Online Dictionary in supporting the development of Arabic vocabulary mastery among students in PBA 2 class at UIN Sumatera Utara. The primary issue observed among students is the lack of optimal utilization of the online dictionary due to certain challenges in its usage. The focus of this research is to explore how students utilize the online dictionary to enrich their vocabulary and its impact on their Arabic language proficiency. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through interviews with students, observations of dictionary usage, and analysis of student assignments. The findings indicate that the Al-Ma’any Online Dictionary is effective in helping students expand their vocabulary, particularly in discovering word meanings and their usage in various contexts. However, some challenges were identified, such as limited understanding of subtle word meanings and dependency on internet connectivity. This study suggests that vocabulary development through the use of online dictionaries can be optimized by providing guidance and further training for students in utilizing the dictionary's features more comprehensively.

The beef cattle farming industry plays an important role in supporting food security and national economic growth. North Sumatra Province is an area with supportive geographical potential and great opportunities for developing this sector. However, several challenges such as low productivity, market competition, and infrastructure limitations still hinder its development. This study aims to analyze the potential and comparative advantages of North Sumatra Province in the development of beef cattle farming and to predict its growth in the future. The methods used are Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and the Growth Ratio Model (MRP). The data used are secondary data from the last three years (2020-2022) obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sumatra Province, the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health, and the North Sumatra Provincial Livestock Office. LQ analysis is used to identify leading commodities in the livestock sector, while MRP is used to predict the growth of the beef cattle industry. The analysis results show that several districts in North Sumatra, such as Deli Serdang, Simalungun, and Asahan, have an LQ greater than 1, indicating that beef cattle farming is a leading sector. Meanwhile, several districts, such as Langkat and Karo, have an LQ less than 1, indicating that this sector has not yet become a base for beef cattle farming. With an MRP of 4.0%, Simalungun shows the highest growth rate, followed by Deli Serdang and Asahan. This research provides an important overview of the potential and challenges of beef cattle farming in North Sumatra Province for appropriate policy-making and the future development of this sector.

This research aims to analyze the relationship between feed prices and the productivity of broiler chickens in Indonesia, considering that poultry farming is the main source of animal protein needs for the community. One important component that influences production efficiency is feed prices, which often change due to changes in local and international markets. This research uses a quantitative analysis method with regression which is used in this research to find the relationship between the increase in feed prices and the level of productivity of broiler chickens, including body weight gain, feed efficiency and mortality rates. The data used includes feed prices, production costs and harvest yields from various regions in Indonesia during a certain time period. According to research results, the increase in feed prices made a significant contribution to the decline in broiler chicken productivity. These results indicate that to maintain production stability, strategies to manage feed costs and diversify local raw material sources are needed. In conclusion, to keep the poultry farming industry in Indonesia afloat, feed price stability is very important.

In this study to see how small to medium-scale farmers face problems when developing beef cattle farming businesses in Perbaungan District, North Sumatra. The research utilised a descriptive survey to collect data through field observations, structured interviews and desk research. The research involved beef cattle farmers from various business scales. Livestock production, feed use and capital constraints were included in the quantitative and descriptive analyses. The results showed that low-quality feed, capital availability and technical knowledge affected livestock productivity in the area. Large-scale farmers use commercial feed to get better results, while small-scale farmers rely more on natural feed. Improved access to high-quality feed, technical training and low-interest business credit are some of the development plans. Thus, to achieve sustainability of the sector, beef cattle enterprise development requires a holistic approach with government support, continuous training and cooperation with relevant institutions.

Around 41.8% of pregnant women around the world experience anemia. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the world is estimated at around 57.1% in Africa, 48.2% in Asia, 25.1% in Europe and 24.1% in America. The results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia was around 37.1%, with hemoglobin levels < 11.0 g/dL approaching the proportion between urban areas 36.4% and rural areas 37.8%. Based on the 2001 Household Health Survey (SKRT), the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women was 40.1%. Meanwhile, the 2004 DKI Jakarta survey showed that the prevalence rate of anemia in pregnant women was 43.5%. The general aim of this research was to determine differences in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the first, second and third trimesters at the Gebang Health Center, Langkat Regency in 2024. Hemoglobin examination in pregnant women aims to To find out whether the mother is experiencing blood deficiency or not, namely by checking hemoglobin levels during pregnancy. The method is quantitative research with an analytical survey method using a cross sectional design, namely, a study that concerns risk factors using a retrospective approach. Analysis shows that there are differences in hemoglobin levels in the first, second and third trimesters. The average hemoglobin levels in the first trimester (11.7 g/dL) and II (11.0 g/dL) were still within normal limits, while the hemoglobin in the third trimester (10.2 g/dL) was abnormal. Hemoglobin levels < 11.0 g/dL in pregnant women can be said to be anemia, whereas if hemoglobin levels in pregnant women are > 11.0 g/dL it is not said to be anemia. So it can be seen that hemoglobin levels in the third trimester are lower than hemoglobin levels in the first and second trimesters. Pregnant women are expected to be able to check their pregnancy by carrying out an HB examination.

The flash floods and landslides in Central Aceh Regency are hydrometeorological disasters resulting from the interaction between natural factors and environmental conditions, such as extreme rainfall and declining ecological capacity due to land-use changes. In this context, community service activities conducted by law students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara function not only as humanitarian responses but also as a medium for social learning in internalizing the values of religious moderation based on local wisdom. This study aims to examine the role of students in disaster response and how these values are internalized through interactions with the Gayo community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-participatory design. Data were collected through participatory observation, informal interviews, and documentation during activities in disaster-affected areas, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that these activities contributed to both physical recovery and social-psychological support, including trauma healing.
