A person who achieves the best performance will be appreciated by the company with good rewards. And with poor performance, will get punishment. The extent to which they can give their best performance depends on how they want to improve their competence and willingness (motivation) to do their best work. The purpose of this study is to improve community performance through salary, work environment, and labor training in Sunggal District, Deli Serdang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the literature review method through library studies based on previous research journals. The results of this study explained that several things can improve community performance in Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency such as the amount of income or salary, a supportive work environment, and job training needed to improve skills and knowledge at work. To achieve an improved quality of community performance, it is necessary to do several things, namely reviewing the amount of salary as a reward to the community and paying overtime hours reasonably by the overtime time used, reviewing the workforce training program which is considered less attractive, unclear direction and objectives, so that interest in participating in the workforce training program is low. And open the widest possible space for outstanding people to get promoted to a higher career level.

This study investigates the impact of digital gamification on employee motivation, engagement, and productivity in technology companies. Gamification, which integrates game design elements such as rewards, badges, and leaderboards into non-game environments, has gained popularity as a tool for enhancing employee performance in workplaces. The research employs a quantitative survey methodology to gather data from employees in technology firms that have implemented gamified systems. The findings reveal that gamification significantly increases employee motivation by tapping into intrinsic motivators such as autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Employees reported higher levels of engagement, with many attributing their increased participation to the fun and competitive nature of gamified tasks. Additionally, productivity improvements were observed, particularly among employees in roles that require individual performance, such as software engineers, where autonomy and goal-setting were key factors. The study also identifies variations in the effectiveness of gamification based on factors such as job role and organizational culture, emphasizing the need for customization to suit different employee needs. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges such as employee resistance, poorly designed systems, and resource constraints were noted as barriers to successful gamification implementation. These findings suggest that gamification is an effective strategy for improving motivation and engagement in technology companies but requires thoughtful design and alignment with company culture to maximize its impact. Future research should explore the long-term effects of gamification and examine how specific elements, such as leaderboards and rewards, influence employee behavior across different demographics.

The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the Reward And Punishment method has on the Learning Motivation of Christian Education for Class V Students of SD Negeri 29 Pardomuan I, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. The research method used is quantitative research method with inferential statistics. The population is all grade V students of SD Negeri 29 Pardomuan I, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency, totaling 35 people. This study is a population study because the subjects are less than a hundred people so all of them are taken. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire of 40 items, namely 24 items for variable X and 16 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis showed that: 1) test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained value rxy = 0.517 > rtable(=0.05; IK=95%; n=35) which is 0.334 (0.517 > 0.334). b) A significant relationship test obtained a calculated value of 3.47 > the ttable price for an error of 5% of the two-party test and dk = n-2 = 35-2 = 33, then obtained ttable = 2.021 (3.47 > 2.021). 2) influence test: a) regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂=41.81+0.20X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r²) = 26.7%. 3) test the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcalculate = 11.58 and obtained Ftabel = (=0.05, dk numerator k k = 18, dk denominator = n-2=35-2=33) = 1.51 then Fcalculate > Ftable which is 11.58 > 1.51.
