The aim of this research is to develop valid and practical learning media for the basics of visual communication design. The process of learning the basics of visual communication design at SMKN 1 Pasaman is not optimal, this is caused by several problems, namely the availability of learning media only in the form of printed books that students borrow from the school library. This causes students to not understand the learning material and be less motivated to study and cause low student grades. Based on the data obtained, the students' KKM completion score was only 53%. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research and development method with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation at each stage. This research involved 36 class X DKV students who took part in learning the basics of visual communication design. The results of this research are Android-based learning software that can be used as a complement to the learning process, especially in the basics of visual communication design subjects. Data collection techniques are in the form of observations and questionnaires, while data collection instruments are in the form of validity questionnaires and practicality questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a Likert scale with the Aiken formula. The results of this research show that the validity value of the media is an average of 81.53% in the "Very Valid" category, while the validity of the material is an average of 93.85% in the "Very Practical" category and the teacher's practicality assessment is an average of 81.77% in the "Practical" category. " while students' practicality assessment averaged 83.3% in the "Practical" category.

Online learning has become a significant trend in modern education. The basic concept of learning in online learning plays a key role in dealing with the challenges and problems that arise along with technological development.  The main trend in online learning involves increased accessibility and flexibility. Technological advances allow learners to access course materials from anywhere and at any time. However, emerging issues include lack of social interaction and feelings of isolation. The basic concept of effective learning in online learning should address these issues. This research aims to examine the basic concept of learning in online learning: trends, problems and solutions. This research uses qualitative method with literature study taken from various sources, including print media, electronic media, books and electronic journals. The research technique is done through exploration and journal search through Google Scholar related to the basic concept of learning in online learning. As for primary and secondary sources in the form of scientific papers that have been published with a high credibility index, namely Sinta 2 to Sinta 5. The results of data analysis are taken from a literature review by means of researchers collecting data, and complete information from various data collection procedures and with a specified time. The collected data is analyzed by using descriptive method to reveal the facts of events written in statements derived from the data sources studied. The results show that, online learning is a growing trend in education. The basic concept of effective learning should consider accessibility, interaction, motivation, and evaluation. In this article, the effect of active learning on student learning motivation will be evaluated. Learning is an important process in the development of education in Indonesia. The main goal of learning is to increase students' learning motivation, which can influence their ability to achieve optimal results. One learning method that has been proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation is active learning. In this article, we will evaluate the effect of active learning on students' learning motivation. Learning is an important aspect of the educational process which has a direct influence on students' learning motivation. In recent years, active learning approaches have become popular among educators as an effective method for increasing students' learning motivation. Evaluation of the influence of active learning on student learning motivation is important to understand the successes and shortcomings of this method. This article will evaluate the effect of active learning on student learning motivation using a professional approach. This research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) technique. The Systematic Literature Review technique is carried out in five stages, namely: 1. formulating research questions, 2. mapping and searching for articles that are in accordance with the research questions asked, 3. classifying and evaluating the articles that have been collected, 4. summarizing article, 5. interpret the findings in the article. The search for articles carried out by researchers was regarding the Effect of Active Learning Evaluation on Student Learning Motivation. The database used is based on the database contained in Google Scholar, Garuda, Open Journal System (OJS). The literature used in the research, namely publications within the last 510 years, is not optimal so it needs to continue to be the focus of this research. The author conducted this research based on the low literacy and numeracy abilities of students. This research activity was attended by grade 6 students, where this activity aims to be able to improve literacy and numeracy skills for students. In this study, the author used a qualitative research method by observing the actions of a person directly and then describing them in detail so that readers could understand them. This research activity has three stages, namely the first stage is planning an activity to be carried out, the second stage is the implementation process to observe grade 6 students, and the third stage is the evaluation and conclusion stage. Based on the research results, it was found that students will tend to have literacy skills if they continue to practice literacy and learn numeracy. In addition, if the learning process is carried out by learning while playing so that these students can develop a strong sense of enthusiasm in learning literacy and numeracy.

Recognizing outstanding students is an essential strategy to encourage learners to improve their academic performance and overall learning quality. However, the process of selecting the best students at SMK Negeri 1 Raman Utara still encounters significant challenges due to the complexity of the evaluation criteria, which include academic achievement, attendance, participation in extracurricular activities, and student behavior. The current manual selection method is considered less effective because it is time-consuming and susceptible to subjectivity in decision-making. This study aims to address these issues by developing a technology-based Decision Support System utilizing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. SAW was chosen for its efficiency in solving multi-criteria problems through matrix normalization and preference weighting for each alternative. The development process includes requirement analysis, system design, and the implementation of an automated ranking mechanism for student candidates. Based on the testing results, the implemented system can process assessment data rapidly and produce accurate and objective rankings of high-achieving students. The system offers a practical solution for the school by enhancing transparency and validity in the selection process, minimizing human calculation errors, and supporting more equitable and data-driven decision-making.
