The development of technology and the internet has changed the way humans communicate. One form of this development is the presence of social media. Social media has now facilitated fast and easy interaction. The increasing number of users also increases the potential for criminal acts of misuse of personal data. Misuse of personal data, especially on social media, requires comprehensive mitigation. This study aims to analyze efforts to overcome victims of criminal acts of misuse of personal data on social media, both through penal and non-penal channels. With a normative legal and empirical legal research approach through a study of laws and regulations and legal literature as well as interviews. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that penal efforts include collecting evidence, identifying perpetrators, and imposing sanctions in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. Meanwhile, non-penal efforts are carried out through public education, the establishment of personal data protection institutions, and monitoring social media activities. The main inhibiting factors in this mitigation are the lack of implementing regulations, limited technical capabilities of law enforcement officers, and minimal public awareness of the importance of personal data. This study concludes that synergy between penal and non-penal efforts is needed to protect individual privacy rights in the digital era

The growth of technology and the internet has significantly boosted the expansion of e-commerce in Indonesia, transforming how people fulfill their needs. As the number of e-commerce users continues to rise each year, marketing strategies in the digital marketplace have evolved. Price is a key factor that greatly impacts marketing strategies. Effective promotions can also motivate consumers to purchase products. Additionally, product quality serves as an added value that enhances a person’s desire to buy. This research aims to analyze the influence of price, promotion, and product quality on consumer decisions to make purchases through e-commerce. To achieve this, the study adopts a qualitative approach by conducting a literature review. The results of this research indicate that price, promotion, and product quality collectively have a positive impact on e-commerce purchasing decisions.

In the digital era of the 21st century, technology continues to develop rapidly, influencing various aspects of life, including business operations. This journal explores the concept of Technology 21 and its application in the development of integrated information systems for modern business. This research aims to understand how technological innovations, such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data, can be integrated in information systems to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. Through analysis of various case studies, this journal shows that integrated information systems utilizing Technology 21 not only facilitate better decision making, but also improve collaboration between departments and provide competitive advantages. By presenting the main components of an integrated information system, such as hardware, software, data, procedures, and user roles, this journal provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in adopting the latest technology. It is hoped that the findings of this research can become a reference for practitioners and researchers in understanding the importance of technology integration in information management in the modern era.

This research investigates the implementation of the Management Information System (SIM) in administrative management at the Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Islamic Boarding School, Mandailing Natal Regency. This study found that Islamic boarding schools have adopted intranet, internet and extranet-based SIMs to speed up the administration process. However, this research also identified challenges such as limited information technology capabilities among users. Through descriptive qualitative research methods using interview, observation and documentation techniques, this research highlights the importance of MIS in supporting decision making, data processing and the effectiveness of educational management in Islamic boarding schools. This research recommends increasing human resource training and strengthening technological infrastructure to increase the effectiveness of SIM in supporting Islamic boarding school administration.

The development of science and technology has brought major changes to human literacy in the world, including Indonesia. The internet is a result of the development of science and technology which not only provides entertainment but also information and literacy for its users. This makes the internet a human necessity in everyday needs. As previously explained, the problems faced by the internet generation are this generation's vulnerability to pornographic content; vulnerable to being encouraged to participate in spreading hate speech; vulnerable to being involved in cyber crime; vulnerable to plagiarism in completing learning assignments at school; vulnerable to exposure to terrorism and radicalism; the rise of cyber bullying among the Internet Generation; and vulnerable to being involved in spreading fake news (hoaxes). In guiding the Internet Generation in using the internet wisely to prevent the negative impacts of internet use in high school, digital literacy outreach can be implemented. For this reason, we offer the "Digital Literacy Socialization" activity. Through this socialization activity, it is hoped that we can increase the insight and knowledge of the Internet Generation in using the internet in a way that benefits themselves and does not harm others based on the ITE Law.

The development of digital technology has resulted in significant transformation in various aspects of life, especially in the economic sector. A region's ability to obtain, utilize and process information has a major impact in stimulating increased economic growth. Despite technological advancements, not everyone benefits equally. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of digitalization in driving economic growth in a region, by utilizing secondary data from BPS for the period 2015–2022 using the panel data regression method. The research findings show that for smartphone users, the Human Development Index (HDI) has a significant positive impact on economic growth. The number of internet users has a significant negative impact on economic growth. On the other hand, the workforce shows that there is no significant influence on the economic growth of the province of Java.

In  recent  years,  air  quality  has  become  an  increasingly  important  issue  in  various  cities  around  the  world.  Real-time  air  quality  monitoring  is  essential  for  identifying  pollution  problems  and  taking  appropriate  actions.  This  article  discusses  the  design  of  an  Internet  of  Things  (IoT)-based  air  quality  monitoring  system  using  the  prototype  method.  The  system  is  designed  to  monitor  air  quality  parameters  such  as  PM2.5,  PM10,  CO2,  and  temperature  in  real-time  and  present  the  data  to  users  through  a  web-based  application.

Sentiment Analysis is a technique for extracting text data to obtain information about positive, neutral or negative sentiments. The purpose of sentiment analysis is given by internet users on social media to provide a personal assessment or opinion. Paga Lewu Shop that often gets user sentiment through social media is Paga Lewu Shop. The existence of consumer opinion sentiments about Paga Lewu Shop can be analyzed and utilized to obtain useful information for other customers and the Paga Lewu Shop. By using the Text Mining technique classification method, a sentiment will be known as positive, neutral or negative. One of the algorithms widely used in sentiment analysis is the Naïve Bayes classification method. This study uses the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) method with tf-idf weighting accompanied by the addition of an emotion icon conversion feature (emoticon) to determine the existing sentiment class from tweets about the Paga Lewu Shop. The results of the study show that the Naïve Bayes method without additional features is able to classify sentiment with an accuracy value of 96.44%, while if the tf-idf weighting feature is added along with the conversion of emotion icons, the accuracy value can be increased to 98%.

The purpose of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into campus smart parking management systems is to improve user comfort, safety, and efficiency. To control car traffic in real-time, the system combines technologies including computer vision, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Automatic vehicle detection, license plate recognition, parking lot availability prediction, and ideal vehicle flow regulation are some of the key characteristics. The system can effectively recommend parking to users through a mobile app by using pattern analysis and historical data. The implementation results showed a 25% reduction in traffic in the university's parking area and a 30% increase in parking time efficiency. According to the findings of the study, applying AI technology in parking management can be a creative way to overcome the difficulties associated with facility management in higher education environments.

With the rising demand for ubiquitous internet access, there is a growing need for technologies that allow users to remain connected to their home broadband network even when outside the house. This paper explores several proposed solutions, including advanced routers, VPNs, mobile applications, mesh networking, and hybrid cloud routers, that enable remote access to home networks. These technologies offer the potential to provide seamless, secure, and affordable connectivity, especially for individuals in rural or remote areas This innovation offers significant implications for rural internet connectivity and broader networking technology advancements. Additionally, the paper explores the societal and economic impacts of these technologies, particularly in underserved regions. By reducing dependence on expensive mobile data and providing secure, continuous internet access, these solutions can help bridge the digital divide in rural and remote areas. Improved connectivity fosters opportunities for education, remote work, and economic development, enhancing quality of life. Furthermore, advancements in hybrid cloud routers and mesh networking have the potential to drive innovation in the telecommunications industry, leading to more robust, scalable, and cost-effective networking solutions. The research underscores the need for further development and widespread implementation of these technologies to address existing internet accessibility challenges.

Information is something that has a very high level of interest information in life. In line with the advancement of information and communication technology, new media has been created as an aspect of interaction and communication. In the process of communicating and disseminating information to the public, the internet becomes an indispensable thing. The reason is, the internet has an interesting program in the form of social media as a tool to spread information to the public. Facebook is one of the social media that people are interested in communicating and disseminating information. Facebook's social media provides a variety of feature options, such as status, photo and video sharing, user-created content. Status, photos, and videos features are commonly used to disseminate information. This form of information dissemination can be a digital design that includes graphic design, illustrations and communicative explanations. A communicative design is a design created to convey information. Where communicative design is absolutely necessary to disseminate information to the public. Communicative design contains valid, interesting, concise information but the information delivered remains easy to understand and clear. That's why information dissemination is well received by the public. This research aims to understand how communicative design should be used to optimize information dissemination on Facebook platforms and its impact on user responses to messages delivered to the Community.

Digital natives spend 79% of their time accessing the internet every day. This research aims to map the use of social media among digital natives. This research, which lasted six months, used qualitative methods and an explanatory case study approach. The informants involved were 225 informants. The results of this research are divided into three domains, namely reasons for using social media, goals for using social media in everyday life, and self-evaluation of social media use. These three domains are comprehensively integrated by digital natives in processing information content, interpreting and evaluating themselves as intelligent social media users.

One of the essential aspects of internet browsing is the existence of web browsers, software that enables users to access various websites and online resources. The objective of this study is to understand users' behavioral patterns when engaging in internet browsing activities across different digital platforms and to identify the positive and negative impacts of internet browsing on users' productivity and well-being in daily life. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. The findings indicate that internet browsing has a significant impact on users' productivity and well-being, both positively and negatively. On the positive side, browsing can enhance work efficiency, support learning, and provide entertainment that helps reduce stress.

Internet users in the use of information have given rise to two opposite sides, where on the one hand it is easier in terms of access and utilization of information, while on the other hand it causes various kinds of illegal acts, one of which is copyright infringement in the form of film piracy which is currently inserted through illegal streaming sites resulting in losses for the creators of cinematographic works. This of course violates the ITE Law and the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights and the Minister of Communication and Informatics concerning the Implementation of Content Closure and/or User Access Rights, Copyright Infringement and/or Related Rights in Electronic Systems. This research is a normative juridical research using a legislative and conceptual approach, using legal materials from literature and the internet as a source of legal materials. The results of the study show: (1) The form of legal protection for the creators of cinematographic works in film piracy on illegal streaming sites is reviewed from the ITE Law in a preventive manner regulated in Articles 23-25, Article 25, Article 32 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the ITE Law and has been repressively regulated in Article 48 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the ITE Law and the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights & the Minister of Communication and Information related to Content Closure. (2) The effectiveness of the legal protection provided by the government to the creators of cinematographic works in the piracy of films on illegal streaming sites provided by the government through the ITE Law and the Joint Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights and the Minister of Communication and Informatics related to site blocking cannot be said to be effective until now because the legal factor itself has not sufficiently accommodated the protection of creators clearly in the event of film piracy on illegal streaming sites.

This research aims to design and developing a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) leak monitoring system in the cold storage cooling system on the Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) ship by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. HFC leaks in cooling systems can cause environmental hazards and operational inefficiencies. The proposed system integrates sensors and IoT devices to continuously monitor HFC levels, detect leaks in real-time, and provide instant alerts to crew and management. The system architecture includes sensors for HFC detection, a microcontroller for data processing, and a communication module for data transmission to a central monitoring platform. Real-time data can be accessed through a user-friendly interface, enabling timely intervention and maintenance. Initial testing shows that the system is effective in identifying and reporting HFC leaks, potentially reducing environmental impacts and improving the safety and efficiency of cold storage operations on AHTS vessels. Further development and extensive field testing are planned to refine the system and validate its performance across a wide range of operational conditions.

Chilli farming is an important sector in Ende District, but plant disease problems are often an obstacle that hampers productivity. Farmers often have difficulty recognizing the symptoms of disease in chili plants and determining appropriate treatment steps. To overcome this problem, this research aims to design and build a web-based expert system that can help diagnose chili plant diseases using the Forward Chaining method. This expert system was developed by collecting knowledge from agricultural experts and literature related to chili plant diseases, as well as applying the Forward Chaining method for the reasoning process. Users, especially farmers, can enter the symptoms experienced by chili plants into the system, then the system will produce a disease diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations based on these symptoms. This research uses a case study at Maju Tani Agriculture in Ende District to ensure that the expert system developed is relevant to local conditions. This system is implemented in the form of a web-based application so that it can be accessed easily by farmers using devices connected to the internet. The test results show that this expert system can provide accurate and efficient diagnoses, as well as assist farmers in making decisions to overcome chili plant disease problems. It is hoped that this system can increase agricultural productivity and reduce the risk of losses due to plant diseases.

YouTube is an internet-based social media that focuses on video content. Through account creation, users can get an audience that has a YouTube account and upload videos from different categories, which shows how a YouTube account is packaged in social media. This research is to find out how the process of positive comments and Devina Hermawan's YouTube content is carried out. from this second study is to find out negative comments on Devina Hermawan's YouTube content. The data in this study were analyzed using Social Reception which interpreted observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that there is an impact of comments which include positive and negative comment categories.

Background: According to APJII (Association of Indonesian Internet Providers) found that the number of Internet users in Indonesia is 143.26 million people or around 54.68% of the total Indonesian population of 256.2 million people (Risna, 2021). Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of device use and sleep quality in adolescents at SMP N 1 Ngawen. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative correlational type with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all students of SMP N 1 Ngawen totaling 762 students. The sampling technique used puposive sampling. The instruments used were the Use of Gadgets questionnaire and the PSQI (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index) Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank. Results: The characteristics of respondents in this study were the majority of 14 years old (41.0%), female gender (48.0%), male gender (52.0%), the majority of high device usage (87%), and the majority of poor sleep quality (96%). Spearman rank obtained a value of 0.000 (p < 0.0005). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the intensity of gadget use and sleep quality in adolescents at SMP N 1 Ngawen.

As cloud computing advances, organizations' IT infrastructure and application deployment processes are moving to the cloud because cloud computing provides everything as a service over the Internet. The performance of a cloud-based application is based on proper datacenter selection and workload distribution within the selected datacenter. Service broker policies are used for suitable datacenter selection, and load balancing algorithms(LBA) are applied to distribute workloads. This paper is to evaluate the effect of a proposed service broker policy (PSBR) on the performance of cloud-based applications with LBA. To achieve the objective, the behavior of the TikTok application was modeled using the worldwide users’ statistics on the cloud simulation framework, namely CloudAnalyst. As a result, the average response time and data center processing time are measured. Next, the PSBR provides better results than the existing service proximity-based policy. This paper supports cloud service providers' benefits, from coordination between data center configuration, data center selection, and workload distribution to cloud users' identification of the appropriate procedures for their organization or application. PSBR with Active Monitoring had the best average response time of 75.1 ms, while SPR consistently exhibited higher average times across all algorithms, with the highest being 84.5 ms for Round Robin. Under the PSBR policy, Throttled had the lowest average processing time (4.67), while Round Robin had the highest (5.72). Similarly, under the SPR policy, Throttled maintained its efficiency with the lowest average (4.8), while Round Robin showed the highest (5.79).
