This research was conducted at the Ar-Rasyid Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands, to overcome problems in learning the Al-Qur'an, especially the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, recognition of dignity, and the science of recitation. Teachers try to guide children in reading the Koran correctly, assisted by the cooperation of parents at home. The teacher uses the question and answer method to motivate students to understand and instill the laws of recitation. This research is qualitative field research with descriptive methods. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using the steps of collecting, editing, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was carried out through triangulation. The research results show that the tahfidz teacher's strategy in improving Al-Qur'an reading includes utilizing time to read the Al-Qur'an before learning, muroja'ah strategies, and implementing systematic learning procedures. Teachers also carry out final assessments every semester. Implementation techniques include the jama' method for collective memorization and the Iqra' method for reading practice. The Tahfidz teacher evaluation strategy shows the existence of supporting factors and investors, such as laziness and donor coordination between the head of the foundation, teachers and students. The solutions implemented include good time management, motivation and support from TPA, teachers and parents so that students are more enthusiastic about learning the Koran at TPA Ar-Rasyid.

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the Influence of the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence of the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With a population of all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga who are Protestant Christians totaling 121 people with a sample of 37 people, this study uses a descriptive method with a random sampling technique. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 40 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year using 46 questionnaire questions and after being tested, the results of the validity of the questionnaire trial were found to be rcount = -0.352 - 0.609 (there were 6 question items that had a validity of less than rtable 0.361 so that invalid questionnaires were discarded. Thus, the valid questionnaires amounted to 40 questions. And the reliability of the questionnaire trial which was at a value of 0.899 had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With the relationship test, it was obtained that rcount> rtable, namely 0.706> 0.325, with a significant relationship test of tcount> ttable, namely 8.319>2.021, with a linear regression test Y ̂ = α+bx = 23.39+0.355X. This equation shows that in a constant state of 26.98, for every addition of variable X (recitation method) by one unit, there will be an increase in variable Y (student learning activity) by 0.355 from (variable X), coefficient of determination 49.84%. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The significant effect test with Fcount>Ftable (34.735>4.08) means that there is a positive and significant effect between the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The purpose of this study is to examine how mosques in Talang Sebaris Village, Air Periukan District, Seluma, contribute to children's religious education. In addition to being places of worship, mosques have significant social and educational roles in society, particularly in the development of children's religious understanding and character. This research examines several programs and activities started by mosques to encourage religious education, like children's recitations, Al-Qur'an Study Places (TPQ), and other religious activities. It does this using a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data was gathered through observation, interviews with parents, kids participating in these programs, and managers of the mosque. The study's findings indicate that Talang Sebaris Village's mosque has a big influence on how kids understand religion and morality. The success of these initiatives is, however, hampered by a lack of facilities and teaching personnel due to resource constraints. According to this research, mosques should get more community and governmental assistance in order to continue serving as hubs for longer-lasting and more efficient religious instruction.

Chinese Islamic Unity Organization (PITI) is a social missionary organization that houses ethnic Chinese Muslims in the city of Medan which was founded in 1961. In its organizational development it experienced obstacles such as during the New Order era when it had to change the name of its organization. And in 1998, PITI Medan could be said to have "a name but no form", in the sense that the PITI Medan organization existed but in all its activities experienced stagnation. However, running an organization does not mean it does not meet obstacles. Currently, PITI Medan is experiencing a decline in organizational activity due to a lack of awareness among the management and members to advance the organization. Due to work and long distances as well as lack of funds, this has also become an obstacle to the development of the PITI Medan organization. Apart from that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been no activities carried out by the PITI Medan organization until now. The PITI organization has a role as a forum for fostering religion and uniting Chinese Muslims with native Muslims, and native Muslims with ethnic Chinese which is one of the developments of Chinese Muslims in the city of Medan which is realized through activity programs, such as recitations, Muslimat taklim majlis, activities at the month of Ramadan, as well as activities to commemorate Islamic holidays.   Keywords: ,

This study explores the role of prayer (sholat) and recitation of the Qur'an (tilawah Al-Qur'an) as means to reduce stress through a phenomenological approach. In-depth interviews revealed that both practices have significant calming effects. Prayer, with its rhythmic movements and supplications, helps lower stress hormones such as cortisol and cultivates inner peace. Recitation of the Qur'an, through its rhythm and intonation, reduces anxiety and enhances tranquility. The combined effect of these practices effectively reduces stress, strengthens social and spiritual support, and enhances mental well-being. The study supports the importance of consistency in prayer and Qur'anic recitation practices, as well as engagement in religious communities to support effective stress management.

The process of memorizing the Quran, a revered practice in the Muslim world, employs a variety of methods ranging from traditional oral repetition to contemporary technological aids. The research primarily seeks to identify which techniques yield the highest retention rates and the most profound understanding among students. This study employs a literature review methodology, analyzing a wide array of existing research, articles, and case studies that focus on Quranic memorization techniques. Sources include academic journals, educational reports, and empirical studies conducted in Indonesian madrasas and Quranic schools. By synthesizing findings from these sources, the study offers a comprehensive overview of the strengths and limitations of both traditional and modern memorization strategies. The results of this research indicate that while traditional methods such as rote learning and oral recitation continue to be highly effective in fostering deep memorization, modern techniques incorporating digital tools and interactive learning platforms significantly enhance engagement and accessibility for students. The integration of both methods appears to offer the most balanced and effective approach, combining the thoroughness of traditional practices with the innovation of modern technology

The main material for writing this article comes from the routine recitation of Ngaji Filsafat held at the Jendral Sudirman Mosque in Yogyakarta on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 with Dr. Fahruddin Faiz, M.Ag. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the extent of the relationship between religion and science.  The relationship between religion and science is a complementary relationship. How science can only detect things that are visible to the eye, realistic, musyahadah. Meanwhile, religion, in addition to being able to detect things that are musyahadah, is also able to know the reality of the unseen. In this life, humans cannot be separated from these two things. So that's when humans don't just feel enough with science, humans need religion too. Vice versa, when humans only rely on the supernatural, humans will find it difficult to overcome the problems that occur in everyday life. As was the case in 2019 when a pandemic occurred. Then science played an important role at that time. Although not a few of the religionists who “surrender” to God's destiny. Religion and science are both fitrah, a very basic/basaliy soul urge. If there is a difference between religion and science it is because the footing is different. A scientist is open, will seek and search for new theories according to need. While religion has crowned itself as the absolute/final truth. It needs to be said that science and religion are both interpretations. Science interprets real phenomena, the reality of the universe, while religion interprets God's verses, religious texts. From this, science and religion can complement each other and there is a meeting point.
