This study aims to improve the welfare of curly red chili farmers in Tanjung Seteko Village through the innovation of processing fresh chili into chili oil. The background of this research lies in the low added value of fresh chili and frequent price fluctuations that cause unstable farmer incomes. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, with purposive sampling covering farmers, farmer group members, housewives, and village officials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results indicate that processing chili into chili oil can extend shelf life up to 1–2 months at room temperature and more than 6 months under refrigeration, reduce harvest losses by 30–40%, and significantly increase economic value compared to selling fresh chili. A single production process using 5 kg of curly red chili yields 16 liters of chili oil with an estimated selling price of IDR 1.500.000-2.000.000 per production cycle, showing that simple processing activities can provide substantial added value for farmers. Beyond economic benefits, this innovation strengthens community empowerment by improving processing skills, encouraging economic independence, promoting participation in value-added businesses, and reinforcing local economic resilience. The social impacts also include youth and women empowerment and broader opportunities for local product–based entrepreneurship. The study recommends continuous capacity development, digital marketing strategies, and ongoing mentoring to optimize farmer welfare. Therefore, processing curly red chili into chili oil is a strategic solution to enhance income, skills, and sustainable rural economic development.

This community service activity aims to assist the Ibu Jum Tempe Home Industry MSME in Bandar Lampung in implementing the process costing method as a more accurate, measurable, and efficient production cost calculation system. To date, MSMEs still use simple cost recording without a clear separation between raw material costs, labor, and factory overhead, so that product selling prices often do not reflect actual production costs. To address this problem, this activity was carried out through several stages, namely interviews to explore MSME needs and problems, production process observations, socialization regarding the importance of cost accounting systems, and direct training in the preparation and implementation of process costing. The results of the activity showed an increase in MSME owners' understanding of cost classification, unit cost calculations, and the preparation of production cost reports. After the process costing method was implemented, MSMEs were able to calculate costs more systematically and consistently, thus being able to determine more appropriate and competitive selling prices. In addition, the implementation of this method also contributed to increased cost management efficiency, transparency of financial information, and the managerial ability of business actors in making more appropriate decisions related to cost planning and control.

This study aims to explore how religious Muslim students interpret halal labels on product packaging and how these interpretations influence their consumption behavior. In the context of increasing awareness of halal product importance, halal labeling is not just a symbol of religious law, but also a guarantee of quality, safety, and trust. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method phenomenological approach, involving students from UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto who were selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, literature study, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that highly religious students tend to be more selective, careful, and responsible in choosing products, prioritizing those with halal certification even when priced higher. The halal label provides psychological comfort and certainty that the product aligns with Islamic principles. Additionally, a strong understanding of halal labels increases consumer loyalty and supports the growth of the halal industry through rising demand for certified products. Thus, the halal label plays a significant role in shaping the consumption patterns of religious Muslim students and contributes to the broader development of the halal industry in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for personal care products manufactured by PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk. The topic was chosen in response to increasingly intense competition in the cosmetics industry, along with a decline in sales performance of several Mandom products, which highlights the need for the company to better understand key factors affecting consumer purchasing behavior. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who use Mandom products, selected through purposive sampling. Prior to analysis, the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and is the most dominant influencing factor. This finding suggests that consumers place strong emphasis on the suitability between price and perceived benefits when making purchasing decisions. Product quality also shows a positive and significant influence, although its effect is relatively smaller compared to price. Simultaneously, price and product quality explain a portion of the variation in purchasing decisions, while other factors outside the study also contribute. Based on these findings, PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk is advised to prioritize competitive pricing strategies while consistently maintaining product quality to enhance purchase intentions and strengthen consumer loyalty.

Fantasy eyelashes are eyelashes that are used to add an accent of beauty to fantasy eye makeup. Currently, fantasy eyelashes are rarely sold on the market, and most of them are relatively expensive with simple designs. The scarcity of fantasy eyelashes at relatively high prices has led the author to innovate by utilizing mother-in-law's tongue leaf fibers as the basic material for making fantasy eyelashes. The research aims to simplify the search for fantasy eyelashes needed by the public at an affordable price while using natural materials that minimize the risk of irritation, thereby presenting an entrepreneurial opportunity. The natural material used is the mother-in-law's tongue plant. This plant is an environmentally friendly ornamental plant that is easily found in the author's surroundings, highly beneficial for health as it filters toxins and air pollution, and has high economic value. This research employs observation, literature review, experimentation, documentation, and questionnaires. Inflation, unemployment, and deflation are three fundamental macroeconomic phenomena that are closely interconnected in influencing a nation’s economic stability. These variables illustrate the equilibrium between production capacity, consumption behavior, and government intervention in achieving sustainable economic growth. The main purpose of this study is to explore the interrelationship between inflation, unemployment, and deflation, and to assess their implications for Indonesia’s economic stability. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method, employing literature reviews, document analysis, and secondary data evaluation derived from credible institutions such as the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Ministry of Finance. The results suggest that a moderate level of inflation can positively stimulate economic expansion through increased consumption and investment activities. In contrast, excessive inflation tends to erode consumer purchasing power and potentially elevate unemployment rates. Meanwhile, prolonged deflationary conditions may lead to a decline in product prices, reduced business profitability, and slower economic momentum. The interaction among these three factors is complex and dynamic, necessitating a coordinated balance between fiscal and monetary policies to safeguard overall economic stability. This study concludes that effective inflation control, job creation, and deflation prevention are critical elements in strengthening Indonesia’s long-term economic resilience.
