This study aims to analyze the implementation of human resource management (HRM) audits in motivating employee performance at CV Cipta Alignment Constructions (CV.CLC). HRM audits serve as an evaluative and strategic tool in assessing the effectiveness of personnel functions such as recruitment, training, career development, and reward systems. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that HRM audits have a positive effect on employee motivation and performance by increasing work morale, placing employees according to competencies, and reducing turnover. Based on Resource-Based Theory (Barney, 1991), HRM audits are valuable and difficult-to-imitate strategic resources, thus supporting a company's competitive advantage. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing HRM audits continuously as part of a management strategy to improve organizational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 360-degree feedback method in employee performance evaluation in the Preventive Maintenance department of PT. Doulton. Employee performance evaluation is a crucial element in an organization to ensure work effectiveness, competency improvement, and continuous development of human resource quality. This study uses performance assessment data from six employees with indicators in the form of assessment scores, performance categories, feedback, and corrective action plans. The results show that employee performance assessment scores range from 28.6 to 40.2, with the majority of employees falling into the “adequate” performance category. The findings also indicate that the dominant aspects of feedback are the need to improve consistency, communication, initiative, and work effectiveness. The most recommended follow-up strategy is coaching, while for employees with excellent performance, development through leadership training and promotion is recommended. Conceptually, the implementation of feedback-based performance evaluation has supported the principle of continuous development, but the implementation of the 360-degree method still requires strengthening, especially in the multi-source aspect of assessment to be more objective, comprehensive, and in accordance with the theoretical characteristics of 360-degree feedback. Thus, implementing this method can be an effective strategy for improving employee performance and career development in the Preventive Maintenance department if implemented systematically and involving various assessors.

Internal governance and psychological safety are key factors influencing employee performance in private universities in Indonesia. Internal governance ensures efficient and transparent operations aligned with institutional goals, whereas psychological safety allows employees to express ideas and take risks without fear of negative consequences. Organizational communication mediates the relationship between these factors and employee performance. This study aimed to assess the impact of internal governance and psychological safety on employee performance in private universities in Banten, with organizational communication as an intervening variable. This study explores how these elements contribute to performance through effective communication. A quantitative approach was employed with a sample of 50 respondents from private universities in Banten. Data were collected via structured surveys, and SmartPLS 4.0 software was used to analyze the relationships between internal governance, psychological safety, organizational communication, and employee performance. This study found that internal governance positively influenced organizational communication, which significantly enhanced employee performance. Psychological safety also contributes to organizational communication but has a minimal direct impact on performance. Organizational communication plays a crucial mediating role in linking governance, safety, and performance. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening internal governance, fostering psychological safety, and improving organizational communication to optimize employee performance in private universities. By focusing on these factors, universities can create a more supportive environment that enhances employee engagement and effectiveness of the faculty.

The implementation of e-government in government administration can make services more efficient, transparent, and reliable, as well as provide faster service to the public. The Sidoarjo Regency Population and Civil Registration Office launched the PLAVON website as a digital service. This study aims to describe the strategy for improving digital service quality from a public value perspective, focusing on the PLAVON website of the Sidoarjo Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the quality of PLAVON’s digital services can be analyzed through three dimensions of public value: improved public service, improved administration, and improved social value. In the improved public service dimension, PLAVON enhances the ease and speed of population administration services; however, these improvements are still constrained by technical system disruptions and unstable website performance. In terms of improved administration, the implementation of digital services through PLAVON contributes to greater transparency and improved employee professionalism. Meanwhile, within the improved social value dimension, PLAVON plays a role in strengthening public trust in government institutions. This study emphasizes that the improvement of digital service quality is not solely dependent on technical factors but also on the government’s capacity to generate tangible and sustainable public value for the community.

This article explores inconsistencies in employee performance within small, project-oriented service sectors, where quality depends on daily tasks, punctuality, and adherence to procedures. Since skill development relies largely on informal workplace learning, differences in worker competencies often lead to rework, customer complaints, and safety issues. The study investigates how skills and competencies affect employee performance, illustrating how individual abilities translate into observable performance through the ability–motivation–opportunity (AMO) framework and experience-based learning. A qualitative case study at Rajasa Teknik included interviews and observations to examine project coordination, quality standards, and supervision practices. Results indicate that competencies and skills primarily influence ability, but sustained motivation- driven by realistic goals and fair feedback- along with ample opportunities such as smooth material flow, clear roles, and on-site decision support, enhance performance. The findings underline the importance of a cohesive work system (task division, quality control, communication), a consistent safety culture (K3), and straightforward, repetitive HR practices that facilitate tacit knowledge transfer into routines. Improvements suggested involve mapping core competencies, brief mentoring sessions, quality-focused standards, and evaluation systems to minimise service variation and promote sustainable performance in similar businesses. Overall, this research broadens the understanding of performance management in small enterprises and offers practical guidance for interventions.
