Decisions mark the beginning of every action. In the context of educational organizations, decision making is directly related to the role of the school principal. As a manager, the principal has a key role in making decisions quickly, precisely and effectively, by utilizing data and information optimally to improve the performance of the educational environment. At Babakan Jamanis Integrated Middle School, the principal has succeeded in carrying out the decision-making process well. This can be seen from the stages carried out, including observation, data collection, planning and recording related to aspects of education in schools. The school principal also actively holds discussions with teachers to formulate policies, establish interpersonal relationships to manage events, provide ideas, involve teachers in training, and carry out supervision as part of management activities. All of these initiatives are reflected in teacher performance assessments which are not only useful for increasing teacher potential and performance, but also contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning achievement at Babakan Jamanis Integrated Middle School.

This research describes how teachers perceive the implementation of the independent curriculum in School. This research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that explore and understand the meaning a number of individuals or groups of people derive from social problems.  Researchers construct reality and understand its meaning, so this research pays great attention process, event, and authenticity. Respondents are teachers at school. Data collection in this research was through interviews. The main instrument of this research is the researcher supported by field notes.  All data is collected and studied descriptively to obtain reliable and reliable findings. Research result  shows that: (1) teachers' perceptions are positive and appreciative of the implementation of the  Merdeka Curriculum in schools, (2) teachers have an important role in the process of curriculum  development and implementation in schools and success in implementing the curriculum really  depends on how intense the teacher is in implementing the curriculum in the classroom; (3) teachers  have the ability to develop and implement curriculum and class design, in order to improve the quality  of teaching and learning processes; (4) There has not been optimal socialization and specific training regarding the formation of student profiles Pancasila; and other.

In Indonesia, tourism still has an important role in supporting national development. Morotai Island as a border area has a huge local potential in mining, farming, plantation, including human resources and tourism. Therefore, this research aimed to provide a recommendation for tourism development and so that to improve tourism competitiveness, particularly tourism activity conducted by tourists, based on SWOT analysis. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The research location was in the territory of Daruba, South Morotai, Morotai Island District, North Maluku Province. The data were obtained by doing observation, interview and literature study. In the interview part, some staff of Tourism Board and local people became the sources through focus group discussion and direct interview referred to purposive sampling technique. The SWOT analysis shows that Morotai Island District has nature beauty and War World II historical ruins as the strength. Those still have a huge opportunity to develop so that to revive the tourist activity there. Not to mention, Kelapa Bido as an endemic plant in Morotai Island District. Based on the SWOT analysis and observation, the recommendations for tourism activity are managing tour packages, agrotourism and digital tourism via augmented and virtual reality.

This article discusses the role of social workers as counselors in situations of sexual abuse against minors. The discussion in this page is based on literature reviews from numerous reading sources, such as journals and books, which are used to elucidate beliefs concerning the function of social workers. This research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that describes natural situations. This technique is intended to define the general role of social workers as counselors to victims of sexual assault against children. The surge in sexual assault against children highlights the significance of giving counseling to children who have been victims of sexual violence. Research findings reveal that social workers play an essential role in coping with challenges.

English is an international language used in various fields, including the maritime sector. In the maritime sector, English is used for communication, both between seafarers and between seafarers and related parties, such as port officers, cargo agents and shipping companies. In order to provide competent resources in the maritime world, the role of maritime vocational education is present to address these problems. In Indonesia, maritime vocational education aims to produce graduates who have competence in the maritime field. One of the competencies that maritime vocational education graduates must have is the ability to speak maritime English. In order to provide competent resources in the maritime world, the role of maritime vocational education is present to address these problems. Although the importance of maritime English is recognized, there is a gap between industry needs and the competencies of Indonesian maritime vocational education graduates. Mastery of correct maritime terminology is essential for sailors and maritime personnel. Maritime terms used incorrectly can lead to potentially dangerous misunderstandings. In an era of cultural acceleration and rapid advancements in science and technology, this research evaluates the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Informatics at SMA Negeri 8 Maros, focusing on enhancing student creativity. Employing a quantitative method within the Classroom Action Research framework, this study involves cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collected through creativity tests, surveys, and class observations reveal that PBL significantly boosts student creativity. These findings are crucial, considering the critical role of education in preparing future generations for digital era challenges. This study highlights how education, especially in Informatics covering programming, artificial intelligence, and computer networking, can adapt to changing times. By integrating technology and innovative approaches into the learning process, students can enhance creativity and other essential skills needed in the digital age. This research offers valuable insights for educators and policymakers in preparing students for a bright, sustainable future.    

There are 514 urban areas in the archipelagic nation of Indonesia (Ministry of Home Affairs, 2016). There are many cities in Indonesia that are able to provide a sense of comfort and security for their residents, this of course has an impact on population growth. However, the amount of waste that can be generated and stored is limited by the carrying capacity of the urban environment. Using the idea of ​​a "green city" which consists of nine elements of road infrastructure, traffic, green open space, clean water, noise, energy, housing, clean air and buildings is one way to overcome the above problems. All these qualities need to be utilized immediately with a comprehensive systems approach and in accordance with economic, social and environmental principles in sustainable development. Blue economy approaches can be used to eliminate waste. The “blue economy” is a term that is becoming increasingly popular in today's seas and oceans. The aim of this concept is to combine sea base development opportunities with environmental management and protection. Four conceptual interpretations of the blue economy were determined through research into the dominant discourse in international economic policy documents. How the blue economy works is also examined through an “in practice” analysis of the blue economy and related actors. Next, the scope and focus of the blue economy is explored specifically on the maritime industry, which is included or excluded in various conceptualizations. This analysis reveals areas of agreement and conflict. The consensus range reflects the growing trend towards the commercialization and valuation of nature, delineating and defining maritime boundaries and enhancing the security of the world's oceans. Oceans are becoming increasingly important in terms of potential international trade opportunities through intermediaries and buyers. the behavior of the model supporting such a relationship in the ocean is acceptable from a regular and economic point of view. The relationship between land and sea is increasing in the role and importance of the "blue economy" as the term emerges in the background. . A literature review was conducted to analyze the correct definition of the blue economy. This definition is analyzed based on the minimum requirements that are important for the blue economy. This article also tries to compile various types of activities related to marine services. This is done to determine what can be considered priority areas for blue economic growth. The blue economy concept is based on national economic development. This is comprehensively useful for achieving overall national development. Environmental accounting is stated as a process of reducing negative values ​​and creating positive values ​​in environmental accountability.

Export trade of coffee in Indonesia plays a crucial role in the country's economy; however, challenges and dynamics in the global market demand the development of an optimal strategy to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee products. This research aims to formulate an optimization strategy for coffee export trade by leveraging information provided by the Trademap website. The research method involves analyzing Indonesian coffee export data from the Trademap site, identifying global market trends, and evaluating relevant trade policies and regulations. The results of this analysis will form the basis for designing a strategy to increase market share and the export value of Indonesian coffee. The proposed strategy includes strengthening product branding, diversifying target export markets, improving the quality and innovation of products, and optimizing the supply chain to enhance logistic efficiency. Additionally, the integration of information technology and communication in trade management is incorporated to expedite information access and minimize business risks. The implementation of this strategy is expected to make a positive contribution to the growth of Indonesia's coffee exports, opening opportunities for access to new markets, and increasing the value-added of products. By tapping into the information potential of the Trademap site and developing adaptive strategies, Indonesia can effectively navigate the dynamics of the global market, strengthen its position as a leading coffee producer, and enhance the well-being of business actors in the coffee sector.

Self-confidence is a very important indicator of success in a person's activities. However, what cannot be avoided is the level of self-confidence that each child has. Because their backgrounds are so different from other children, they are less likely to feel like they are in an orphanage. In general, the family must play an important role in the development of the child's personality, one of which is building the child's independence. However, not all children are lucky to have a complete family for life, due to loss of a family member, lack of money, financial problems, and so on. Based on interviews with adoptive mothers and adoptive fathers, it is known that it is very difficult to increase a child's self-confidence because the child's personality is not yet harmonious. Not all children are able to express their opinions and feel embarrassed or anxious during activities. Observations also show that children's self-confidence is still relatively low, but children in orphanages still feel anxious about expressing their opinions because they are afraid of answering incorrectly. Therefore, they often remain silent when asking questions because they are afraid of being laughed at by their friends. The aim of this research is to increase the self-confidence of children at the Muhammadiyah Koto Baru Orphanage, Solok Regency in expressing opinions and answering questions without feeling embarrassed or suspicious. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method.

Adolescence is an important transition period in a person's life, where they experience significant physical, psychological and social changes. During this period, teenagers often face various pressures and challenges, including the problem that teenagers often face is loneliness. Prolonged loneliness can cause teenagers to feel isolated, hopeless, and have difficulty dealing with negative emotions. In this situation, teens may look for ways to ease the pain and achieve a temporary sense of relief. One response that may arise is self-harm behavior or self-injury. And to minimize the occurrence of self-harm, social support is very necessary. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of how important social support is for self-harm behavior in teenagers who feel lonely. This research uses a qualitative approach and the method used is literature study. Meanwhile, the data collection technique in this research is a documentary study. The research results show that social support has an important role in self-harm behavior because social support can act as a protective factor in reducing the risk of self-harm behavior in lonely adolescents. The higher the level of social support received by adolescents, the lower the level of self-harm behavior they engage in.

The main raw material commonly used in making choux paste skin is wheat flour. The wheat flour used is high protein wheat flour. High protein wheat flour has a protein content of 14.45%, fiber 2.01%, and carbohydrates in the form of starch 78.36% (Industrial Research and Consultation Center, 2016). The amylose and amylopectin content in high protein wheat flour is 50.26% and 22.84% (Industrial Research and Consultation Center, 2016). Amylose plays a role in forming gel while amylopectin forms elastic properties. The formation of the dough framework can occur due to the gelatinization ability of starch when the dough is baked. To reduce dependence on the use of wheat flour in making choux paste skin, it can be overcome by increasing the use of local food ingredients, in accordance with Law Number 18 Article 1 Paragraph 16 of 2012 concerning Food of the Republic of Indonesia (UU No. 18/2012), "Food diversity is an effort increasing the availability and consumption of food that is diverse, nutritionally balanced and based on local resource potential."    

Land and Building Tax (PBB) is a direct tax collected by the central government but the revenue is reflected for the benefit of the community in the area concerned with the location of the tax object. Considering the important role of the community in covering state financing, the influence of the Village Head's leadership is needed to be able to utilize the potential of Land and Building Tax in the area and motivate the apparatus and the community to be able to carry out their obligations in paying taxes. The existence of the majority of people who do not fulfill their obligation to pay PBB is automatically an obstacle in tax collection, but this is because people are less aware of paying taxes, or even do not know the function of paying taxes themselves.    

This research delves into the impact of scientific advancement on both governmental and private sectors, emphasizing the critical role of Public Relations (PR) in governance and corporate realms. Information technology, particularly the internet and social media, serves as the primary means for public information access. It highlights the significance of public information transparency based on legal regulations, along with social media's role in facilitating public participation concerning public policie. The research methodology includes literature reviews, case studies, expert interviews, and community surveys. Findings emphasize the government's role in supervising social media and digital technology to ensure their safe, fair, and just use. The research also underscores the importance of political participation, whether conventional or online, in governmental policy determination. A case study concerning the role of Facebook in disseminating information by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education at IAIN Kendari constitutes a pivotal part of this discussion.

This study aims to analyze the double burden (double burden) of women. The development of the times has transformed the thoughts and movements of women so that they do not only function in the domestic sphere but also in the public sphere. Even though this is a form of gender inequality in one sex. This is very interesting to study using socialist feminist theory and the position of women in Islam in terms of gender analysis of the position of women in the household. The purpose of this research is to look further at the views of feminists and Islam in the double burden experienced by women in various regions. Data analysis techniques in this study used the analytical techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely: data codification, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this study is that the dual role of women in various areas carried out by previous research occurs because there is no knowledge and awareness that there is oppression that they experience, so that its continuity is considered normal. Islam views women and men as having an equal position even in matters of household which must be based on equal principles and an agreement between the two parties. The significance of this study is to offer a micro snapshot of the problem of multiple roles at certain loci and can provide a glimpse into the potential for similar research in other areas.

An effective learning process in the classroom involves increasing the ability to understand and apply concepts. Learning strategies play a crucial role in realizing this goal, becoming the main focus in efforts to improve the quality of education. The goals of modern education involve developing the ability to understand and apply concepts, producing individuals who are not only skilled in knowledge but also able to apply these skills in everyday life. In addition, the application of knowledge becomes essential, where learning is not only about receiving information but also about the ability to apply knowledge in real contexts. Learning strategies that focus on application help students develop practical skills that can be used in a variety of situations. Analysis of learning strategies is carried out by considering their relevance to the curriculum and support for learning styles. Relevant research results from 12 articles have been analyzed to gain an in-depth understanding of the most effective learning strategies. Based on the results of the analysis, several learning models such as Conceptual Understanding Procedures, Teams Games Tournament, and Blended Learning have been proven to be effective in increasing concept understanding. This research highlights the role of learning strategies in improving the ability to understand and apply concepts at the educational level.

The aim of this research is to determine the role of Canva-based interactive video media in thematic learning on learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research is a literature study using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out by searching via Google Scholar for articles in electronic journals and other publications. The data was analyzed in three stages, namely organizing, synthesizing and identifying. In applying this media, several obstacles were encountered in the classroom, including; Teachers still don't know how to make designs on Canva, the signal is not stable and the infrastructure is limited. However, these obstacles are not an obstacle. The school provides socialization or training and adequate facilities and infrastructure for teachers. There are eight articles that are in accordance with the study theme which states that the application of Canva interactive media has a very significant role in student learning outcomes, especially at the elementary school level.
