This research examines quantitative approaches in flower dissection, with a focus on measuring symmetry and flower structure using mathematical formulas. This research aims to develop an objective method for analyzing flower morphology to support taxonomic, evolutionary and ecological studies of plants. Data was collected through morphometric measurements on various flower species with radial and bilateral symmetry characters. Parameters measured include petal length, corolla width, spreading angle, and number of reproductive parts. The analysis was carried out using geometric formulas to calculate the symmetry index and proportions of the flower structure. The research results show that flowers with radial symmetry have a higher symmetry index value than flowers with bilateral symmetry. Additionally, variations in flower structure were found to correlate with ecological adaptations, such as pollination strategies by insects or wind. This approach successfully revealed consistent mathematical patterns in floral design, providing new insights into the relationship between structure and biological function. This study shows that quantitative approaches can increase precision in the analysis of flower morphology, while providing a new tool for exploring the evolutionary dynamics of plants. This method can be applied to cross-disciplinary research involving morphology, genetics and plant ecology.

Making durable preparations includes a fixation process using 10% KOH, dehydration, clearing and mounting. Clearing aims to make the morphological structure of a sample or object appear clearer, more transparent and clearer. In this research, the solution used was xylol solution and eucalyptus oil. Xylol is a solution that is not environmentally friendly, because it comes from petroleum or liquid asphalt. Meanwhile, eucalyptus oil is a solution obtained from the distillation of eucalyptus leaves which is environmentally friendly and easy to obtain and has non-polar properties which can remove residues in paraffin in preparations, so it can be used as a substitute for xylol. This research aims to describe the quality of preserved Ctenocephalides canis preparations in the clearing process using xylol and eucalyptus oil. The samples in this study were 24 adult Ctenocephalides canis. The results of the study showed that the durable preparations using xylol received 4 good preparations, 5 fairly good preparations, and 3 poor preparations. Meanwhile, the results of durable preparations using eucalyptus oil were 5 good preparations, 6 quite good preparations, and 1 bad preparation. So it can be concluded that making permanent preserved preparations for Ctenocephalides canis is better using eucalyptus oil compared to xylol.

The demands of the industrial revolution 5.0, especially in the field of education, require detailed information related to school services that can be accessed by parents and prospective students regardless of location and at any time, in addition to promotions using flyers and banners as in traditional marketing. Unfortunately, not many educational institutions, especially Early Childhood Education Institutions (PAUD), use digital marketing or promotion optimally due to limited knowledge. In fact, digital marketing is more affordable than trying traditional marketing. DINAR Nasyi'ah Tanggul Playgroup as a partner is one of the PAUD institutions that uses traditional marketing and has not maximized digital marketing in providing information about PAUD. This is not only due to cost constraints but also the digital capabilities of PAUD managers who still need to learn. In addition, PAUD managers are also constrained by the lack of marketing management capabilities. The methods used to overcome partner problems include the needs analysis stage, the activity preparation stage, initial assessment, promotion management training, creating digital and non-digital marketing/promotion media, registering PAUD locations on Google Maps, optimizing PAUD social media, and evaluation. The results of this service show an increase in marketing management knowledge, as well as partner digital marketing capabilities. In addition, there is the availability of digital and non-digital promotional media which are assistance products from the community service team.
