Early childhood education is a fundamental phase in the formation of children's character, literacy skills, and social skills. However, children's basic literacy skills in various regions of Indonesia, including Aisyiyah 2 Aimas Kindergarten, Southwest Papua, are still relatively low, exacerbated by limited learning media, conventional teaching approaches, and teachers' lack of understanding of inclusive education and positive discipline. This study aims to analyze the implementation of basic literacy training with inclusive education and its impact on improving teacher competence. The method used is a one group pretest in the context of community service, involving six teachers as subjects. The program is carried out through three stages: pre-training (observation, interview, and pretest), training (literacy materials based on the DUBT model—Listen, Speak, Read, Write; inclusive education; and positive discipline), and post-training (posttest, classroom observation, reflection, and mentoring). The results showed a significant increase in teacher competence, as shown by the increase in the average pretest score from 57.5 to 84.8 in the posttest. In addition, 83% of teachers are able to implement literacy practices such as reading picture stories, letter cards, reading corners, and dialogue interactions with children. Teachers also began to show acceptance of children's diversity and applied positive discipline without punishment. These findings show that inclusion-based literacy training is effective in improving teachers' pedagogical knowledge and practices. Educator certificates are official documents that play a crucial role for teachers, as they serve as legal proof of professional competence and are required for various administrative purposes, such as professional allowance applications, promotion, transfer, and institutional accreditation. Along with the increasing number of educators in Indonesia, the volume of educator certificate data managed by educational institutions has also grown significantly. However, certificate management is still largely conducted in a conventional manner, functioning merely as digital or physical archives without an effective search mechanism, resulting in inefficiencies and difficulties in retrieving relevant documents. Therefore, an information retrieval approach is needed to support fast and accurate document searching. This study aims to analyze and implement an information retrieval system for educator certificates using the Cosine Similarity method. The research data consist of educator certificate documents, including professional educator certificates, training certificates, and competency certificates. The retrieval process involves text preprocessing, term weighting using TF-IDF, and similarity measurement using Cosine Similarity. The results show that document d1 (Professional Mathematics Educator Certificate) has the highest similarity value to the query “educator certificate,” as it contains all query terms with relatively high TF-IDF weights. Document d3 ranks second due to partial term similarity, while document d2 has the lowest similarity value because it shares only one common term with the query. These findings indicate that the Cosine Similarity method is effective in ranking educator certificate documents based on their content relevance in an objective and measurable manner. The proposed system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of educator certificate document management and retrieval in educational institutions.

This sociolinguistic study examines patterns of regional language interference in formal Indonesian usage across bilingual areas of Indonesia. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research analyzes oral and written data from 240 participants across three strategic bilingual regions: Javanese-Indonesian, Sundanese-Indonesian, and Batak-Indonesian. Data were collected through structured interviews, ethnographic observations, and corpus analysis of formal documents. Quantitative analysis employed linguistic corpus software to identify frequency patterns and interference distribution, while qualitative analysis applied ethnography of communication approaches to understand social contexts and functions of interference in communicative interactions. Findings reveal systematic interference typologies that vary according to linguistic domains. Phonological interference demonstrates the highest resistance to formal register constraints (78% consistency), with Batak-Indonesian speakers showing the highest interference rates (85%), followed by Javanese-Indonesian (74%), and Sundanese-Indonesian (71%). Lexical interference occurs in 65% of samples with significant variation based on communication domains, where Sundanese-Indonesian shows the highest rates (72%). Morphological interference is found in 52% of cases, particularly in affixation and reduplication systems. Syntactic interference shows the highest sensitivity to situational formality, decreasing from 45% in semi-formal communication to 28% in strict formal contexts. Research implications indicate the need for reorienting language policy from corrective approaches toward recognizing interference productivity. Language policies should develop flexible standards that accommodate regional variations and promote positive attitudes toward multilingualism. In educational contexts, integration of contrastive approaches in Indonesian language learning is required, along with development of instructional materials sensitive to students' linguistic backgrounds, and teacher training on managing productive versus corrective interference. This research contributes to Indonesian sociolinguistics through providing comprehensive empirical databases, developing innovative theoretical frameworks, and replicable methodologies for language contact analysis. Findings confirm that regional language interference in formal Indonesian constitutes a productive phenomenon reflecting Indonesia's multilingual vitality. Approaches that recognize productive aspects of interference while optimizing formal communication effectiveness become key to developing language strategies responsive to contemporary multilingual Indonesian realities.

This research examines the practices of a B4 class teacher at RA Takhrimah Tungkop in identifying children’s Multiple Intelligences (MI) through authentic observation during an activity of printing moon shapes using banana stems. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Data were analyzed thematically and supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results indicate that the teacher’s understanding of the MI concept was still focused on linguistic, logical-mathematical, and visual-spatial intelligences. Despite this limited conceptual scope, the implementation of authentic observation during the art-based activity successfully revealed a broader range of children’s intelligences. The moon-printing activity demonstrated indicators of visual-spatial intelligence through shape recognition and composition, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence through hand–eye coordination and motor control, and intrapersonal intelligence reflected in children’s ability to manage emotions, maintain focus, and show persistence during the task. Repeated observations accompanied by anecdotal records enabled the teacher to construct individual and continuous MI profiles for each child. These profiles can be utilized to design more varied, contextual, and child-centered learning strategies that align with the characteristics of early childhood learners in the Raudhatul Athfal setting. The practices observed also illustrate the connection between Gardner’s MI theory and Islamic early childhood education grounded in concrete learning activities. The findings support the development of child-friendly learning environments and encourage teacher creativity in conducting activity-based assessments. This study recommends strengthening teacher competencies through training in authentic MI assessment and further research using a research and development approach.
