The low interest in reading among elementary school (SD) students poses a significant challenge in the context of primary education. This article identifies various factors that contribute to the low interest in reading among students, including lack of access to engaging reading materials, insufficient support from parents, lack of motivation or intrapersonal interest, uninteresting curriculum and teaching methods, influence of electronic media, socio-economic conditions, lack of reading role models, and difficulties in reading. The analysis yields recommendations that encompass improving access to engaging reading materials, encouraging parental support, fostering student motivation and intrapersonal interest, and developing engaging curriculum and teaching methods. Through a holistic and sustainable approach, it is hoped that these recommendations can help address the challenges of low reading interest among elementary school students and enhance the quality of literacy learning at the primary level.

This research aims to improve reading literacy using Antonin board media in class 2 of SDS NU Kencong in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used is to carry out community service through 5 stages, namely observation, formulating problems, creating materials, carrying out counseling and evaluation. As a result of the counseling using antonym board media, students became active and enthusiastic in participating in learning, but there were some students who had difficulty reading due to their lack of familiarity with reading. This antonym board media makes the learning process fun and interesting. This is an innovation to increase students' interest in reading literacy. The article is entitled "Islamic education learning strategies in increasing religious literacy. This article was written because students still lack interest in reading Islamic education books. This article explores what kind of application of Islamic education learning strategies in increasing religious literacy by teachers of Islamic education subjects such as moral beliefs at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. The aim is to find out what obstacles there are in its implementation. This type of research uses a qualitative approach to describe the implementation of Islamic education learning strategies to increase religious literacy at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. We obtained data through interviews with class XI Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and interviews with class XI students as well as observations. This research obtained the results that the implementation of Islamic education learning strategies implemented by schools and implemented by teachers was not satisfactory and still had many shortcomings. There were 5 strategies implemented, namely: visiting the library, asking students to read for 20 minutes before learning started, making wall magazines, organizing a literacy corner for each class, organizing competitions related to literacy. Even though all strategies have been implemented, there are still gaps. The obstacles to students' lack of interest in reading textbooks, especially Islamic education books, are students' lack of interest in reading textbooks and students' lack of awareness of the importance of reading textbooks, external factors, namely the environment, from friends, from the family environment and school facilities that are rarely used.

One of the Community Service Lecture programs carried out by STAI Students. DR. KHEZ. Muttaqien Purakarta is a literacy movement to increase children's interest in reading in Depok Village, Darangdan District, Purwakarta Regency which focuses on students at SD Negeri 1 Depok. In this case, basically the results of observations, interviews and direct participation in the learning process resulted in the problem that from class I to class VI there were some students who were not yet fluent in reading in each class. This is due to low interest in reading, lack of teachers, and libraries that are less than optimal in use. So, this is what makes us carry out a literacy movement program with the activities of providing a mobile library, book review activities and literacy posts with the aim of providing literacy facilities and forming habits in children in order to increase interest in reading among students at SD Negeri 1 Depok in particular and generally for children from Depok Village. In implementing this program, qualitative methods and a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach are used, all of which lead to a context of discovery, empowerment and change.

The purpose of this assistance is to introduce and provide basic knowledge about hijaiyah letters, both in the form of readings and the basic forms of these letters. This assistance was carried out due to the lack of interest in reading and writing the Qur'an in Korong Simpang Tiga due to the Covid-19 situation and conditions that hit at that time. This assistance is carried out using the Particitpatory Action Research (PAR) method with the initial stage, namely by providing a general description by writing the hijaiyah letter shape on the blackboard, then introducing the reading by singing the song "hijaiyah letters". The next stage is to sing together by pointing one by one to the hijaiyah letters sung. The results of assistance in the first stage were obtained by children who previously did not know the hijaiyah letters, becoming aware of the hijaiyah letter shape by visualizing the shape of the letter on the blackboard. Then it was obtained that children who previously had little interest in learning the Qur'an became eager to learn by using the method of singing with the song "hijaiyah letters" and giving an idea of the shape of the hijaiyah letters. Then with the method of singing as well as visualizing the shape of the letters, it makes children who do not understand the differences between hijaiyah letters understand the differences between letters with one another. In using this method, children are also obtained who memorize and can write back the hijaiyah letters requested by the author.

The low interest in reading has hampered intellectual abilities in society, especially students, so that libraries are required to be able to keep up with the pace of development of the times with services and infrastructure that meet the needs of space users, but the FBS UNP library has not been optimal in terms of interior design standards. Student complaints such as unstable air circulation, lack of reading space, and incomplete facilities have caused inconvenience, so an interior design of the FBS UNP Library was held with a minimalist concept. The purpose of interior design is to design a library layout that is representative and in accordance with interior design standards in order to create a sense of security and comfort for visitors while in the room. The interior design of the FBS UNP Library refers to the application of library interior design standards in the form of space, variety, hierarchy, lighting, personal areas, and comfort. The design method uses the 4D design method, namely Define (Defining) Design (Design), Develop (Development) and Dissaminate (Dissemination). Data collection is done by way of interviews, observation and documentation. Works are presented in the form of an Artwork Report with the main works being Presentation Mockups, Animation Videos and Presentation Posters.
