Article 19 paragraph (1) of Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Principles "To ensure legal certainty by the government, land registration is carried out throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia according to the provisions regulated by government regulations". In fact, there are still many waqf lands that have not been registered with the National Land Agency (BPN), causing weak protection and legal certainty for waqf lands in Indonesia. This research uses normative juridical methods with regulatory and conceptual approaches. The results show that waqf land that is not registered with the national land agency has a weak position before the law, although religiously the waqf land that has been pledged is valid in sharia, but without official administration at the national land agency, the legal protection of waqf land is weak. The legal consequences of waqf land that is not registered with the national land office make the status of the waqf land still the previous property, because land registration is an administrative obligation that must be fulfilled to obtain legal certainty that is recognised in positive law by being registered with the National Land Agency. By not registering with the National Land Agency in accordance with the provisions of the law, the status of waqf land has not been registered as waqf asset land. It is recommended that the National Land Agency continue to socialise the importance of waqf land certificates and cooperate with the Indonesian Waqf Board and the Religious Affairs Office in its registration. It is also suggested that a regulation be made requiring nadhirs to report on waqf practices in the village every six months to record unregistered waqf land.

Abstract, This research was conducted with the aim of exploring the legal reconstruction efforts based on the Maqasid al-Shari’ah perspective, as reflected in the decision issued by the Supreme Court, in order to provide a legal breakthrough in the distribution of inheritance through the concept of wasiat wajibah (compulsory will) for non-Muslim heirs. The difference in religious affiliation within family law gives rise to serious inheritance issues, as Islamic law strictly prohibits inheritance between people of different religions. In order to maintain national unity and integrity, the Supreme Court issued Decision Number 331 K/AG/2018, which grants the right to a wasiat wajibah to heirs who have converted out of Islam or are non-Muslims. This study is a normative juridical research that employs two legal approaches: the conceptual approach and the analytical approach. The data collection technique used to achieve the research objectives is library-based documentation study. The findings show that all judicial bodies in Indonesia must refer to Article 49, Articles 1 and 2 of the 1989 Law concerning legal provisions on litigation, management, and enforcement of civil litigation in inheritance cases. Furthermore, Qur’an Surah An-Nisa verse 141 and Hadiths from Al-Bukhari and Muslim explain that Islamic identity must be a determining factor for heirs, disregarding wills that are not valid under Islamic law. Based on the results, it can be concluded that a wasiat wajibah for apostate or non-Muslim heirs is treated not as an inheritance, but as a special bequest. According to the Maqasid al-Shari’ah, which serves as the foundation for achieving the objectives of Islamic law through its five core principles of protection, the concept of wasiat wajibah for non-Muslim heirs plays a crucial role in: preserving religion by fostering interfaith tolerance; preserving life by preventing familial conflict; preserving intellect by ensuring access to education for non-Muslim descendants; preserving lineage by recognizing the rights of children as biological heirs through inheritance; and preserving wealth by ensuring the rightful and responsible transfer of ownership of the deceased’s estate.

This study aims to examine the role of religious moderation education in reducing bullying behavior in schools. A qualitative descriptive method was used, involving observation, interviews, and documentation in several secondary schools. The findings reveal that integrating the values of religious moderation into learning activities, school culture, and teacher role modeling contributes to creating an inclusive and welcoming school climate. Moreover, students become more aware of the importance of mutual respect and rejecting any form of violence. Therefore, embedding religious moderation values holds potential as a preventive solution to build a safe and supportive school environment for all members of the school community.

This research seeks to explore how the Adiwiyata program is implemented in fostering students' religious character through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMA Negeri 1 Tambakboyo. The research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, focusing on exploring the direct experiences of teachers and students in carrying out the program. The data were obtained using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that the Adiwiyata program not only contributes to raising environmental awareness but also plays a significant role in instilling character values such as responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and socio-ecological awareness. These values are internalized through reflective and participatory daily activities, such as classroom cleaning duties, waste management, composting, and energy-saving campaigns. All of these activities are carried out with active and structured involvement from teachers, the school principal, and the entire school community. Supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, habituation of positive behaviors, and the integration of religious values into environmental activities. However, some challenges remain, such as the low initial understanding of new students and inconsistent behavior change. The implication of these findings is that environmental programs, when integrated with character education, can serve as effective media for building students’ moral and religious values in a contextual and sustainable manner, in line with national education goals and Islamic principles.

Public service in the Islamic perspective is a comprehensive concept, integrating religious principles with governance practices to achieve justice, efficiency, and public welfare. This concept is based on the Qur'an and Hadith, which emphasize values such as justice (*'Adl*), responsibility (accountability), consultation (*Shura*), and welfare (*Maslahah*). Public service in Islam is not only a transaction, but also has moral and spiritual aspects, where providing the best service is considered as worship and a form of obedience to Allah. The scope of public service in Islam includes various important sectors such as education, health, law, and socio-economic welfare. Islamic history, especially in the era of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and the Khulafaur Rasyidin, shows concrete examples of the application of these principles, such as the construction of mosques as centers of learning, the establishment of hospitals, and the management of Baitul Mal for the fair distribution of resources. In the modern context, especially in Indonesia, Islamic values have proven to play an important role in bureaucratic reform and improving the quality of public services. Despite facing obstacles such as lack of resources and integration between institutions, the application of Islamic principles in public services—as seen in Islamic hospitals and Islamic travel agents—shows the possibility of producing more just, humane, and quality services. Thus, the Islamic approach to public services provides an ethical framework that is flexible, responsive, and focused on the welfare of society.

This study aims to analyze the application of the legal principle of utility (kemanfaatan hukum) in relation to the inclusion of the phrase Basmallah at the beginning of authentic deeds in Murabahah financing contracts. In notarial practice, it has been found that certain notaries include the phrase “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim” at the beginning of the redaction of Islamic financing deeds. However, the form and structure of authentic deeds are explicitly regulated in Article 38 of the Notary Act (UUJN), which serves as the normative reference for notaries in drafting legally binding deeds. According to Article 1868 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata), an authentic deed is a document drafted in a format prescribed by law, created by or before a public official authorized for such matters, and executed at a place designated by law. Therefore, the inclusion of the Basmallah, which is not stipulated in the formal structure of deeds, may pose legal issues as it can be deemed a deviation from formal requirements, potentially undermining the evidentiary strength of the deed. To ensure both the utility and legal certainty of authentic deeds, it is necessary to reaffirm the formal boundaries as outlined in Article 1869 of the Civil Code, so that deeds drawn up by notaries maintain both formal and substantive legal validity. The scope of this study encompasses three main aspects: First, whether the inclusion of the Basmallah at the beginning of a Murabahah financing deed holds legal authenticity; second, to what extent such inclusion aligns with the principle of legal utility.

Drawing on the participants' concrete lived experiences, this study explores how the processes of typification and we-relations shape the construction of meaning in everyday interactions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observation with four informants and one single caregiver, and analyzed descriptively texturally and structurally. The findings show that affective communication includes empathy, humor, and firm but authoritative correction that become the foundation for the formation of emotional bonds and a sense of “new family.” Holistic routines (praying in congregation, studying, social activities) facilitate the internalization of religious values, discipline, and independence, which in turn strengthen children's self-identity. The process of meaning construction does not only occur through words, but through daily practices that bring together the emotional, spiritual and social dimensions. These results recommend strengthening intersubjective communication training for caregivers in similar institutions to support the development of character and identity of orphans.

This research uses a qualitative method with Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis approach to examine the meanings of visual and narrative signs in the 2025 Marjan Ramadan commercial. This advertisement was selected due to its rich symbolic elements and its significant role in shaping public perception and emotion during the holy month. Utilizing Barthes’ concepts of denotation, connotation, and myth, this study aims to uncover hidden meanings behind visual elements such as colors, lighting, character gestures, and storyline narration. Preliminary findings indicate that the Marjan advertisement not only promotes a syrup product but also encapsulates values of togetherness, tradition, and religiosity through cinematic visuals. Symbols like family dining tables, drums (bedug), and twilight lighting are interpreted as modern myths portraying an idealized Ramadan that is warm and harmonious. Therefore, this advertisement can be viewed as a form of cultural communication that conveys ideological messages through visual symbols familiar to Indonesian society.

SOSIAL: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan IPS 2025 Asosiasi Peneliti Dan Pengajar Ilmu Sosial Indonesia

The phenomenon of teenage brawls in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, reflects deviant actions influenced by social and cultural conditions in society. These disputes are triggered by a number of factors, such as competition between groups, lack of parental supervision, limited access to positive activities, and provocations carried out through social media platforms. In this case, Robert K. Merton's anomie theory is applied to analyze how the mismatch between social goals and legitimate means drives teenagers to take the path of violence in order to gain social recognition and group solidarity. This study applies a qualitative descriptive approach using in-depth interview techniques and participant observation of community leaders in RW 04, RW 05, and RW 12. The research findings show that brawls in Manggarai are more than just juvenile delinquent behavior, but are a form of response to social pressure and lack of opportunities for self-realization. The social consequences of these brawls include psychological trauma, social stigma, and disruption to the stability of the surrounding environment. However, the local community has tried to prevent this by implementing a religion-based approach, skills training, and strengthening coordination between regions. This study emphasizes that structural interventions and community-based approaches are key to addressing the root causes of brawls in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of Buddhist communities in Central Java Province in order to strengthen religious identity and enhance their social engagement as a minority group within a multicultural society. The study employs a quantitative approach, collecting data from 376 respondents through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson correlation analysis to examine the relationships among the studied variables. The findings indicate that six key factors significantly contribute to strengthening religious identity and the spiritual resilience of Buddhist communities, namely cultural preservation, arts and traditions, utilization of cultural heritage sites, community economic development, and the implementation of religious activities. Among these factors, regular religious activities and the use of temples as religious tourism destinations emerged as the most dominant factors in encouraging community participation, social solidarity, and the sustainability of Buddhist teachings. These findings underscore the importance of adopting a holistic and locally grounded approach in community development initiatives. This study offers important implications for the formulation of religious policies and the development of more inclusive, contextual, adaptive, and sustainable strategies for the empowerment of Buddhist communities at both regional and national levels.
