Drug abuse is a serious problem that not only affects individuals, but also threatens social stability and public health. In response to this problem, the concept of Restorative Justice emerged as a humane alternative that focuses more on restoring the physical, mental and social conditions of the offender. This theoretical study shows that rehabilitation through the Restorative Justice approach is a more humane, effective, and sustainable solution in dealing with drug abusers compared to the conventional prison approach. This research uses a normative juridical research method that is descriptive and analytical, with a library research approach. This method was chosen to examine in depth the concept, regulation, and application of rehabilitation as a restorative justice solution in handling drug abusers. The data used consists of primary data, namely laws and regulations related to narcotics, rehabilitation, and restorative justice, such as the Narcotics Law, Attorney General Regulation Number 18 of 2021, and Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021.Secondary data are academic literature, scientific journals, books, articles, and official documents that discuss rehabilitation and restorative justice in the context of narcotics abuse. Data collection techniques are collected through documentation studies and literature studies. Data analysis used qualitatively consists of normative juridical analysis to examine legal provisions and regulations governing rehabilitation and restorative justice. In Indonesia, the application of rehabilitation as a restorative justice solution has been regulated in various regulations, such as the Narcotics Law, Attorney General Regulation Number 18 of 2021, and Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021. These regulations provide a legal basis for rehabilitation as an alternative to punishment that prioritizes recovery and social reintegration.

The comparison of health law between Indonesia andMalaysia covers critical aspects of the healthcare system that influence the quality of life of their citizens. This study primarily focuses on occupational health and safety (OHS) for healthcare workers. According to global data, Malaysia has a better healthcare system compared to Indonesia, as reflected in its higher ranking on the Health Care Index. In Indonesia, health law regulations often undergo changes and revisions, such as the enactment of the Omnibus Law, which consolidates various health sector regulations. However, this has raised concerns about the diminishing legal protection for healthcare workers. In contrast, Malaysia presents a more structured system, with the integration of health and labor institutions through the Department of Occupational Safety And Health (DOSH), which ensures better workplace safety and clearer standards. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing legal documents such as Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health in Indonesia and the Occupational Safety and Health Act in Malaysia. The Malaysian approach is more preventive and promotive in nature, differing from Indonesia’s curative-dominated model. The study aims to compare the legal health regulations of both countries, assess their implementation effectiveness, and offer policy recommendations based on best practices applied inMalaysia to improve the quality of healthcare services inIndonesia. The findings reveal that although Indonesia has significant potential in the health sector, weak regulation implementation and supervision remain major obstacles. Therefore, a more structured and efficient regulatory reform is needed to enhance legal protection for healthcare workers and improve health services.

International trademark infringement poses a complex challenge for brand owners due to jurisdictional variations and differing legal systems across countries. This study examines available legal remedies, ranging from non-litigation dispute resolution mechanisms such as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) - encompassing negotiation, mediation, and arbitration - to formal litigation in national courts. ADR offers advantages in time efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and confidentiality, while litigation provides legal certainty through binding court decisions such as injunctions and damages awards. Preventive strategies including international trademark registration through the Madrid System and cooperation with customs authorities serve as crucial proactive protection measures. Furthermore, this research analyzes judicial considerations in cross-industry trademark disputes, including assessment of trademark similarity (visual, phonetic, conceptual), reputation of well-known marks, bad faith of infringers, and potential consumer confusion. Case studies such as Louis Vuitton vs. Louis Vuitton Dak and Zara Food vs. Zara Fashion demonstrate judicial application of the likelihood of confusion principle and anti-dilution doctrine even across different industries. The research employs normative legal methodology with statutory and secondary document analysis approaches. Findings confirm that legal strategy selection must consider infringement scale, jurisdiction, and business objectives, while international trademark protection requires integration of proactive registration, legal enforcement, and comprehensive understanding of global market dynamics.

This study aims to examine the role of biomechanics in preventing injuries in karate athletes through a systematic review. The research method follows the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) framework with a literature search in the Science Direct database, Google Scholar, and the use of tools such as VOSviewer and Publish or Perish. Studies that met the inclusion criteria (10 articles) were analyzed to identify injury patterns, biomechanical factors, and prevention strategies. The results showed that the most common injuries in karate athletes were contusions, calf muscle strains, and finger sprains, which were related to force distribution, extreme joint angles, and postural control. Biomechanical analysis (motion capture, EMG, force plate) proved that technique correction, proprioception training, stabilizing muscle strengthening, and balance training could reduce the risk of injury by up to 20%. Significant differences were found between novice and elite athletes in terms of movement consistency and neuromuscular control. The integration of biomechanical principles with karate philosophy (mushin, zanshin, kime) was also emphasized to maintain a balance between performance and cultural values. Limitations of the study include heterogeneity of measurement instruments and potential publication bias. Future recommendations include longitudinal studies, development of portable devices (IMUs), and personalization of training programs based on individual biomechanical profiles

The origin of the universe can be viewed from two main perspectives, the Qur'an and modern cosmology. In the Qur'an, the process of creation of the heavens and the earth is expressed through the terms al-khalq and al-bad', which indicate creation from existing matter or from nothing. Several verses such as QS. Al-Anbiya' [21]:30, QS. Fussilat [41]:11, and QS. Adz-Dzariyat [51]:47 describe the creation symbolically in line with scientific concepts such as the Big Bang theory and the expansion of the universe. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method and philosophical reflection within the framework of Islamic educational philosophy. From the perspective of modern cosmology, the understanding of the beginning of the universe is based on the Big Bang theory, cosmic inflation, and microwave background radiation (CMB). This article also discusses the meeting point between revelation (naqlī) and empirical rationality ('aqlī), and emphasizes the importance of methodological dialogue between the science of interpretation and science. The findings of this study reveal that although the Qur'anic approach and scientific cosmology come from different bases, both can complement each other in deepening human understanding of the universe and its position as a living creature created by God. Therefore, the epistemological integration between the two becomes the basis for a more complete understanding in theological, scientific, and philosophical aspects of the origin of the universe

Islamic education delves into the profound aspects of the individual, where knowledge is regarded as a divine gift that must be utilized in fulfilling the human role as a khalifah (steward) on Earth. The main challenge facing Islamic education today is the dichotomy between religious and secular knowledge. This study explores the thoughts of Mohammad Natsir, an Indonesian Muslim intellectual, who sought to formulate an Islamic education system that aligns with the demands of religion, nation, and state. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and library research, this study concludes that: 1) Natsir’s thoughts on Islamic education are based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, emphasizing the importance of an integral, harmonious, and universal education to develop human potential as khalifah. 2) Natsir’s relevance in the reform of Islamic education includes a purification process returning to pure Islamic teachings with tawhid (monotheism) as the foundation of education, and modernization through the integration of religious and secular education to overcome the dichotomy in Indonesia’s educational system.

The development of Indonesian criminal law underwent a significant transformation through the enactment of the 2023 Criminal Code, which replaced the Dutch colonial legacy and adopted a humanist-restorative punishment paradigm. This study analyzes the comparison between the Indonesian Criminal Code 2023 and the German Strafgesetzbuch (StGB), particularly in the structure of the main punishment and the purpose of punishment, to evaluate the suitability of the concept with modern judicial practices. The normative research method with a statutory and conceptual approach reveals that the 2023 Criminal Code expands the types of basic punishment, such as imprisonment, closure, supervision, fines, and community service, to diversify punishment that reduces dependence on prisons and supports social reintegration. However, the nominal category-based fine system still has the potential to create economic inequality, in contrast to Germany, which uses a day-fine system that is adjusted to the economic capacity of the offender. While Germany relies on suspended sentences and structured rehabilitation programs, Indonesia still faces challenges in the implementation of alternative punishments such as closure, which lack parameters and practices. Both countries' sentencing objectives emphasize community protection and rehabilitation, but Germany is more mature in its integration of the principle of proportionality, assessment of subjective offender factors, and supporting infrastructure. This research recommends reforming Indonesia's fine system by adopting a day-fine mechanism, developing technical guidelines for alternative punishment, strengthening rehabilitation programs, and harmonizing policies to improve economic justice and the effectiveness of punishment. The findings are expected to be a reference in improving the Criminal Code 2023 before its full implementation in 2026, so that the Indonesian criminal justice system is more responsive, fair, and in line with the values of Pancasila and modern legal principles.
