Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Indonesia Sejahtera 2024 STAI YPIQ BAUBAU, SULAWESI TENGGARA

Dasawisma groups have strategic potential in supporting family independence, but have not been optimally empowered. This Community Service activity aims to strengthen Dasawisma's capacity as agents of social change in enhancing family independence through the internalization of independence spirit values. The method used was a participatory and educational community organizing approach, implemented at Dasawisma Asoka RT.007, Bukit Timah Sub-district, Dumai City, on August 10, 2024. Activities included interactive material delivery, group discussions, work program preparation simulations, and reflective evaluations. The results showed increased understanding among Dasawisma members regarding their strategic roles, emergence of initiative and self-confidence, ability to formulate solutions based on local potential, and formation of more structured cooperation patterns and emergence of local mobilizer figures. The participatory approach based on independence values proved effective in driving Dasawisma's transformation from administrative implementers to subjects of independent and sustainable family and community development.

Background: Breast milk is ideal nutrition for babies which contains nutrients and a set of protective substances to fight disease. Lactation education is a learning process to prepare oneself psychologically and physically to be able to breastfeed exclusively. Based on observations and interviews of third trimester pregnant women at Panti Waluyo Hospital from February to April 2023, 289 mothers had not received information about lactation education. Objective: To determine the effect of lactation management education on mothers' motivation and readiness to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Design: This type of research is a one group pre-post test design with pre and post experimental. This research was conducted at Panti Waluyo Hospital in August – December 2023. The research instruments used educational videos, pre and post questionnaires. Data analysis used the Shapiro Wilk test, Oneway Anova test, and Paired T Test. Results: Most of the respondents were aged 17-25 years as many as 32 respondents, the last level of education was DIII was 20 respondents, parity had never given birth as many as 20 respondents and history of childbirth had never given birth as many as 22 respondents. There are differences in mothers' motivation and readiness before and after being given lactation management education as shown by a p value of 0.044. Data on mothers' motivation and readiness before and after being given lactation management education varied the same as shown by p values of 0.199 and 0.499. There is an influence of lactation management education on mothers' motivation and readiness to provide exclusive breastfeeding, shown by a p value of 0.001. Conclusion: there is an influence of lactation management education on mothers' motivation and readiness to provide exclusive breastfeeding.

The Integrated Islamic School concept represents an educational approach that integrates a secular curriculum with Islamic values ​​in an educational environment. This approach aims to create a holistic learning environment, where students' academic, spiritual and moral aspects are the main focus. This research explores the implementation and impact of the Integrated Islamic School concept, highlighting how the integration of religious values ​​in the curriculum can influence students' overall development. The research method used for analysis is descriptive from literature and case studies from several Integrated Islamic Schools that have implemented this concept. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a deeper understanding of the importance of integrating religious values ​​in the context of modern education.

Sacrifice is one of the most important acts of worship in Islam. It is mandatory for Muslims who are able to follow and obey the commands of Allah SWT. Apart from being a form of obedience to Allah SWT, sacrifice also contains social values ​​and concern for others. Through sacrifice, Muslims learn to share their good fortune with others, especially those who are less fortunate. Therefore, this research aims to describe how the wisdom behind sacrificial worship can bring a deeper understanding of the importance of sacrificial worship in the lives of Muslims, as well as how sacrifice can provide broad benefits for individuals and society at large. This research uses research methods that are used as a type of library research or literature study which includes collecting, reading, recording and processing data from various library sources such as books, magazines and other sources. The research results show that sacrificial worship has a number of teachings that cover many spiritual, social, economic and educational aspects. These studies provide a clearer picture of the breadth and depth of the wisdom behind sacrifice, as well as how this practice remains relevant and beneficial in various aspects of Muslim life.

Character values ​​such as integrity, hard work, cooperation, and responsibility are studied in the context of how they influence and support the development of core competencies such as problem-solving abilities, leadership, and effective communication. This research uses an analytical approach to explore how strong character values ​​can form desired core competencies and influence overall performance. The results of this research provide valuable insights for educators, organizational leaders, and practitioners to understand the importance of integrating character values ​​in the development of core competencies.

Indonesia is a country with extraordinary ethnic and cultural diversity, where each ethnic group has its own unique language and traditions. This research aims to explore the interaction between language and culture in the context of ethnic minority communities in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach through literature analysis from previous research and field reports. The results show that ethnic languages play an important role in maintaining cultural identity and social cohesion among minority communities. Language is used in various cultural contexts, such as traditional rituals and religious ceremonies, as well as in everyday life to maintain cultural values. Challenges faced include the dominance of Indonesian and globalization, which reduces the use of ethnic languages among the younger generation. However, there are various revitalization efforts through education, social media and digital technology to preserve their language and culture. In conclusion, the interaction of language and culture in ethnic minority communities in Indonesia is a complex and dynamic phenomenon, requiring support from the government and educational institutions for sustainable preservation.

This article discusses the concept of educational philosophy, explains the relationship between philosophy and educational theory, as well as the relationship between philosophy, education and culture. Educational philosophy is seen as a structured thinking process that uses philosophy as a guide in organizing, aligning, and integrating steps in education. The article also details definitions from several experts, such as Al-Syaibany, John Dewey, and Imam Barnadib, who describe educational philosophy as a philosophical analysis of education. In relation to educational theory, the article explains that educational philosophy conveys its philosophical principles to educational theory, often facing challenges that require contributions from educational philosophy. In addition, the article outlines the relationship between philosophy and culture, where culture is considered as a manifestation of human nature, and philosophy as a systematic and universal method of thinking that includes every soul. Finally, the article presents a view on the relationship between education and culture, describing education as a philosophical activity that aims to explain, harmonize, assess and change the educational process by considering cultural issues. Education is considered to have a dual responsibility, namely developing individual potential and preserving cultural values, which are sustainable and provide mutual support.

Changes in personnel management are crucial along with increasing demands for the professionalism and competence of teaching staff in Islamic educational institutions. This transformation covers various aspects, starting from recruitment and selection, competency development, to teacher performance evaluation. The research method used in this article is a literature study that analyzes various library sources related to personnel management and Islamic education. The research results show that implementing effective personnel management can increase teacher motivation and performance, which in turn has a positive impact on the quality of learning and student achievement. In addition, the integration of Islamic values ​​in the personnel management process can create a conducive and harmonious work environment, which greatly supports the achievement of Islamic education goals. This article concludes that personnel management transformation is a strategic step that must be taken by Islamic educational institutions to face the challenges and dynamics of the current world of education. . This research aims to examine the strategy of developing the character of love for the country among students through education, using the literature study method. Education is a major factor in building a strong and competitive nation amidst the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution and globalization. The development of the character of patriotism is essential to prepare young people who are committed to national values and have the spirit of nationalism. This literature review explores the concept of patriotism, the role of teachers, and effective learning strategies in the school environment. The results of the analysis show that the development of the character of patriotism can be realized through various holistic educational activities, such as intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular. The active role of teachers in instilling national values and involving students in local cultural activities is also very significant. A supportive school culture and extracurricular activities such as scouting also play an important role in fostering a sense of love for the country. The study concludes that a comprehensive strategy involving all relevant parties, including the government, schools and parents, is needed to overcome challenges and strengthen the character of patriotism in the digital era.

Human resources as a resource in a company have a strategic role compared to other resources. Humans play a very important role in the development of a company. If a company has higher quality human resources than its competitors, then its performance will definitely increase. Human resource and competency planning in a company plays an important role in improving human resources, especially in terms of employee performance, employee performance to help achieve company goals. In this case, employee performance is a result that can be achieved by an individual or group of people in a company organization according to quantitative or qualitative aspects, considering employee compensation. Apart from that, a mismatch between an employee's competency (the employee's educational background and skills) and their job can also make the employee uncomfortable with what they are doing. This of course greatly affects the level of work productivity in the company. Competencies can clarify work standards and expectations that the company wants to achieve and can make it easier for companies to align work behavior with organizational values. Apart from that, HR planning as an activity is a process of how to meet current and future workforce needs for an organization. In meeting current workforce needs, the HR planning process means efforts to fill/cover workforce shortages both in quantity and quality. HR planning emphasizes forecasting efforts regarding workforce availability based on needs in accordance with future business plans.

This research aims to examine the role of music in strengthening national unity based on the values ​​of Pancasila. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with the aim of deepening the understanding of the relationship between music and Pancasila values ​​and their impact in building unity and integrity in society. This research involves analysis of music theory, Pancasila concepts, as well as case studies to illustrate the relationship between the two. First of all, this research describes the concept of diversity and Pancasila values ​​as a philosophical basis for understanding the unity of the Indonesian nation. Values ​​such as belief in the Almighty God, just and civilized humanity, Indonesian unity, democracy led by wisdom in deliberation/representation, and social justice for all Indonesian people are the basis for maintaining diversity and strengthening unity. This research explores the role of music in reflecting Pancasila values ​​and facilitating social integration among diverse communities. Music as a medium for artistic expression has the power to convey messages of diversity, tolerance and unity through its lyrics, melodies and artistic performances. Case studies will show how various musical genres, such as traditional music, pop, rock, etc., can unite various social groups and dissolve cultural and religious differences. In addition, this research will discuss the practical impact of implementing Pancasila values ​​in the music industry and music education in Indonesia. By strengthening understanding of Pancasila values ​​in musical works and conveying positive messages, music can be an effective means of strengthening ties of brotherhood among Indonesian people. Other strategies that can be developed in this context include the use of music in formal and informal educational programs aimed at fostering a spirit of nationalism, tolerance and social justice. In conclusion, this research shows that music has great potential as a tool to strengthen national unity based on the values ​​of Pancasila. With a deeper understanding of the relationship between music and national values, we can develop more effective strategies in promoting harmony and solidarity amidst the diversity of Indonesian society.

Students who are intelligent and have good character start from the educational process carried out at school. Character education is very important to shape the personality of students so that they have good character in their lives. Character education is integrated in all subjects, especially in music art subjects. Students are expected to have a strong character through music art learning media. The problem in this study is how to implement character education through music art learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of character education through music art learning. The benefits of this research consist of theoretical and practical benefits, especially for art education practitioners in schools. This study uses qualitative research methods. The research objective is on the implementation of character education in music art learning. The data collection technique was carried out using observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. The data validity technique uses data triangulation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis. The result of this study is that the instillation of the values of Cultural Education and Character of the Nation developed in the learning process of music art is not carried out separately, but these values are incorporated into the learning steps. In practice, the steps to learn music arts based on national character education are contained in certain slogans embraced by the school. The suggestion in this study is that teachers or those responsible for the selection process of regional songs and national songs in music ensemble learning should pay attention to the selection of songs so that they are easier to understand and the cultivation of character education can be achieved properly.

This study aims to analyze the education system, identify the problems faced, and analyze education policies in Brunei Darussalam, with a special comparison to education in Indonesia. Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia have different cultural, social, economic and political contexts, which influence the structure and implementation of their education systems. The research method used is descriptive and comparative analysis, utilizing secondary data from various literature sources, policies and educational reports. The results of the analysis show that Brunei Darussalam's education system is unique, with a focus on Islamic education and national values. However, several problems such as gaps in educational access and teaching quality are still challenges. On the other hand, Indonesia has a more complex education system with various challenges, including regional disparities, teacher quality, and limited educational infrastructure. A comparison between the two countries highlights differences in policy approaches, educational structures, and challenges faced. Brunei Darussalam emphasizes quality education and strengthening national identity, while Indonesia struggles with the challenges of inclusion and social inequality. The implication of this analysis is the importance of understanding the local context in designing educational policies that are effective and relevant to the needs of local communities. This study provides insight for policy makers to improve the education system and improve the quality of education in both countries.

Education has an important role in shaping individual character and advancing the nation. This research highlights the contribution of K.H. Abdullah Sa'id in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially through the establishment of the Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School. The aim of this research is to identify the vision, approach and impact produced by K.H. Abdullah Sa'id in improving the quality of Islamic education. The research method used is literature study, with analysis of literature from various relevant sources. Research findings show that K.H. Abdullah Sa'id succeeded in integrating Islamic values ​​with modern knowledge, improving the quality of teaching staff, and creating inclusive programs such as scholarships and community empowerment. Its innovative and inclusive approach not only improves the quality of education but also strengthens the moral and spiritual foundations of students. The implications of this research underscore the importance of adopting the educational principles of K.H. Abdullah Sa'id to create an education system that is more holistic and responsive to the demands of the times. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of this educational model and its potential for application in other educational institutions.

This article aims to look at the phenomenon of educators in the use of learning methods, because educators are one of the final factors in the success or failure of learning carried out in schools, so by using a variety of teaching methods students are expected to achieve maximum learning achievement. One of the learning methods that can be applied in Akidah Akhlak learning is the Uswah Hasanah method. This method as a method is used to realize educational goals by giving good exemplary examples to students to be in line with the values of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The purpose of this research is to explain the planning, implementation, evaluation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The type of research is descriptive qualitative field research. Descriptive type is a research intended to collect information about the status of an existing symptom, namely the state of the symptom according to what it is at the time the research is conducted. The results showed that the planning of the Uswah Hasanah method in Akidah Akhlak had been made by educators and had been applied in the learning process. The planning is in the form of a teaching module. The implementation has been carried out in accordance with the planning made in the teaching module, although the implementation is not in accordance with the actual theory and not all steps of using the method are carried out by Akidah Akhlak educators. Evaluation of the implementation of this method is carried out continuously during learning.

This study examines the positive factors of Western culture that contribute to enhancing Islamic religious education. Western culture brings forth various influences that can positively impact the development of Islamic religious education. The study explores factors such as increased access to information, innovative educational approaches, critical thinking, and the promotion of pluralism and tolerance. These factors provide opportunities for Muslims to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings through wider access to information, engaging educational methods, and the development of critical thinking skills. Additionally, Western culture's emphasis on pluralism and tolerance can contribute to fostering a more inclusive and harmonious environment within Islamic religious education. By analyzing and utilizing these positive factors, Islamic religious education can be enriched and made more relevant in the context of contemporary challenges while upholding the core values of Islam.

The world of education and teaching in this contemporary phase cannot be separated from hegemonic relations between policy stakeholders. Policymakers who will exist in 2022-2023 are involved with Gen X, individuals born in the 1965-1980 period. In its power as a policy maker, education is directed and expected to become a concrete step like a machine that produces moral human beings. Morals in education are intended so that students can have the values of love, love each other within the limits of norms and have commendable ethics both in religious and cultural values. The problem in this research concerns contemporary issues regarding the hegemony of power over the moral educational process in the view of the philosophy of science at the ontological, epistemological and axiological levels. The aim of this research is to reveal the hegemony of power over the moral educational process in the view of the philosophy of science at the ontological, epistemological and axiological levels. The method used in this research is qualitative with a philosophy of science approach. From the perspective of the philosophy of science, the hegemony of power over moral education goes through three phases; ontological as a search for the nature of what and why of moral education; epistemological as a review of the hegemony of power towards moral education in the philosophical aspect and axiological as a review of the usefulness of aspects of the hegemony of power towards moral education. The results of the research show that there is a hegemony of rulers who have power which is marked by the symbol of the Minister of Religion as the ruler of Gen With this moral education, educators will continue to be wise and wise in their lives, because the function of Islamic education in Indonesia is to improve and teach morals to their students so that they become human beings who have moral values.

Corruption is still a big challenge in Indonesia, so it requires the introduction of anti-corruption education from an early age. The community service team from STIE Indonesia Banking School initiated a comprehensive outreach program at SMA Negeri 55 Jakarta which aims to instill anti-corruption values ​​and foster ethical awareness among students. The program uses a combination of lectures and interactive discussions, involving not only students but also teachers and school staff. The results show increased knowledge that students, through active participation in extracurricular activities, classroom learning, and daily social interactions, play an important role in developing anti-corruption character and ethical awareness. In addition, teachers and school staff play an important role in modeling and reinforcing the principles of integrity, responsibility, and honesty, thereby guiding students in embracing these core values. This initiative highlights the collective efforts required to foster a culture of integrity in educational settings.

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia have experienced various challenges and changes along with the times. One of the challenges faced is the emergence of a capitalistic economy which emphasizes aspects of competition, efficiency and profit orientation. This research aims to explore how Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions adapt to a capitalistic economy without sacrificing the values ​​and basic principles of Islamic teachings. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved participant observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies at several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools have implemented various adaptation strategies, such as diversifying funding sources, implementing modern management, and developing business units that are in line with Islamic values. However, Islamic boarding schools also face challenges in maintaining a balance between spiritual and economic aspects, as well as maintaining the distinctive identity and characteristics of Islamic boarding schools. This research contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of Islamic educational institutions in facing global economic changes and provides recommendations for future policy and practice.
