Remote work has expanded rapidly in Indonesia and created new challenges for sustaining employee performance in digitally mediated work settings. This study examines the role of employee engagement in mediating the effects of compensation and career development on the performance of remote workers. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data from 200 Indonesian remote workers, and the relationships among variables were analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that compensation and career development both have significant positive effects on employee engagement, while employee engagement has a strong positive effect on employee performance. The direct effect of compensation on performance is not significant, indicating that its influence operates mainly through engagement. In contrast, career development affects performance both directly and indirectly through engagement. These findings indicate that employee engagement is a key mechanism linking organizational support to remote employee performance. The study implies that organizations should not rely solely on financial rewards, but also provide clear career pathways, continuous learning opportunities, regular feedback, and meaningful recognition to strengthen engagement and improve performance in remote work environments.

Ergonomics is a final result that ergonomics itself wants to achieve. Ergonomics is defined as an effort in the form of science, technology, and art to harmonize equipment, machines, work, systems, organizations and the environment with human abilities, expertise, and limitations so that a healthy, safe, comfortable, efficient and productive condition and environment is achieved, through optimal and maximum functional utilization of the human body (Manuaba, 2000). Home is a basic need for every human being, this is in accordance with the concept of basic human needs, namely clothing, food and shelter. Kitchens built in simple houses generally only meet the requirements for having a kitchen. Even the height of the kitchen work table and the height of the cupboard for equipment vary according to the taste of the carpenter or bricklayer. Thus, safe, comfortable, healthy and efficient working conditions can be achieved. In the case of incompatibility of work tools with body ergonomics, it can be overcome with appropriate technology. Most importantly, from the beginning of kitchen planning, ergonomics must be included so that the working environment and conditions can be made effective and efficient for its users.

Intravenous (IV) insertion is a common nursing procedure in hospital settings, requiring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to minimize complications such as nosocomial infections and phlebitis. However, many nurses fail to fully comply with SOPs, increasing patient safety risks. Several factors, including individual aspects such such as age, gender, educational level, and work experience are suspected to influence compliance. This study aims to examine the relationship between nurses’ characteristics and their compliance with IV insertion SOPs at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital, Semarang. This research employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 30 nurses selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained using a questionnaire for demographic characteristics and an observation checklist to assess SOP compliance. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The findings indicated that most nurses demonstrated moderate compliance (50%) or high compliance (50%), with no respondents classified as non-compliant. Statistical analysis revealed no significant relationship between age (p=0.705), gender (p=1.000), educational level (p=0.189), or years of experience (p=1.000) and IV insertion SOP compliance. These findings suggest that individual characteristics are not the primary determinants of compliance. Future research should explore other contributing factors such as hospital work environment, supervision, and patient safety culture to enhance IV insertion adherence.

For mothers, this is an obligation that they must carry out, apart from education in daily life, mothers must also think about psychological and spiritual development, Islamic religion, so that their children have a path that is blessed by Allah SWT.The method that career mothers usually use in educating their children is putting them in TPQ, Islamic boarding school, continuous habituation, parents providing examples. One of the fishing tools that is widely used by fishermen in the Pati waters of Central Java is the gill net. This tool has relatively higher productivity and efficiency compared to several other fishing tools because it can catch large numbers of fish when operated. It is one of the fishing tools that is environmentally friendly and popular to use because its operation is not too complicated and is good for development. The purpose of this Field Work Practice is to determine the effect of operational time of gill net fishing equipment on mackerel fish catches in. This Field Work Practice also aims to determine gill net operational times for mackerel fish catches. Data was obtained by conducting experiments from two different treatments, each treatment was repeated 16 times to obtain a total of 32 data. The research method used is the experimental fishing method using t-test analysis, homogeneity test, normality test.  The results of the T-test on 16 repetitions at 07.00-10.00 WIB and 15.00-18.00 WIB were with an average amount of 205.7 kg and 244.4 kg so that a sign (2-tailed) result of 0.004 < 0.05 could be obtained. From the results of the T-test, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an average difference between the results of tagkapan at 07.00-10.00 WIB and 15.00-18.00 WIB which is influenced by several factors. So it can be concluded that differences in gill net operational times have an effect on mackerel fish. The fishing operation time of 15.00-18.00 WIB is the best operational time compared to 07.00-10.00 WIB which is caused by oceanographic factors, technical factors and natural factors.
