This study aims to explore the urgency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in improving the spiritual intelligence of eighth grade students at SMP Alfa Sanah Cisauk. Spiritual intelligence is an essential aspect of students' holistic development, encompassing the ability to understand the meaning and purpose of life, as well as to develop strong moral and ethical values. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and school document analysis. The subjects of the study included PAI teachers, eighth grade students, and parents. The results of the study indicate that PAI plays a crucial role in enhancing students' spiritual intelligence. The PAI curriculum not only includes religious knowledge but also spiritual practices that encourage self-reflection, the development of positive values such as honesty, empathy, and respect, and the application of these values in daily life. PAI teachers at SMP Alfa Sanah Cisauk also implement interactive and contextual learning approaches, which facilitate students' deep understanding of religious teachings. Moreover, support from parents and a conducive school environment also contribute to the enhancement of students' spiritual intelligence. This study concludes that PAI is vital in shaping students' character and spiritual intelligence and recommends that schools continuously strengthen PAI programs by involving various stakeholders to achieve optimal results.

The research and development is titled “Development of Pop-Up Book Media in Enhancing Literacy Culture in the Reading Corner Program at SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi.”This development research aims to determine: (1) The design of pop-up book media; (2) The development of pop-up book media in enhancing student literacy; (3) The feasibility of pop-up book media in improving student literacy. This research is conducted using a Research and Development (R&D) model with the 4D model, which includes Define (definition), Design (design), Development (development), and Dissemination (dissemination). The subjects of this research are students of SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi, totaling 35 individuals. The instruments used in this research include questionnaires to assess the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of the media. Data analysis techniques include product data analysis, initial data analysis, and hypothesis testing.The results show that the pop-up book media received evaluations of 81% from media experts, 92% from material experts, and 65% from language experts. There was an average increase in student scores of 83%, indicating a significant change between pretest and posttest scores. The conclusion of the research is that the pop-up book media for drama content is suitable for use in literacy activities of the reading corner program. Recommendations for future research include being more meticulous in planning the development of pop-up book media, ensuring it aligns with the needs and characteristics of students.

This study aimed to determine whether the implementation of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) can improve students’ writing abilities in learning English of second grade students in SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The population was second grade students in SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The sample of this research was 33 students of VIII.5 class. This type of research was quantitative. The method used was a pre-experimental design, with one group pre-test and post-test. The result of the data showed that the average students score on the post-test was (89,45) higher that the average score on the pre-test (60.24). From the t-test, the study showed that the t-test value (11,54) is higher that t-table (1,697) at a significance level of 0,05 with degree freedom (df) = 32. This result meant that there was a significant difference. This indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and the nul hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Hence, it can be concluded that the implementation of Teams Game Tournament (TGT) significantly improve students’ writing ability.

The problems of this research were students students cannot write in a good form, students often do nit remember the general structure of the text well, and cannot find the the right words to write. The research aimed to find out the Impact of Padlet Application on Improving Students’ Writing Skill at SMPN 30 Padang. Padlet is an online tool that allows users to create virtual bulletin boards where they can post various types of content such as text, images, videos, links, and documents. This research used quantitative method with a pre-experimental approach and data collection was carried out using pretest and post test to analyze the effect of using Padlet application on students at SMPN 30 Padang who consisted 33 students from class VIII.I who has choosen using cluster random sampling. The research result show that Padlet application can improve students’ writing skill. The pretest result showed average score was 55,60 and the post test was 70,88. After data was collected, the data was analyzed using t-test formula. The result of the analysis showed that value of t-test > t table is 7,067 > 2,03693. The last hypothesis shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means there is a significant influence on improving students’ writing skill using Padlet application.

Self-confidence is a character that must be instilled in oneself from an early age, especially in this case for teenagers in the coastal area of Tomini Bay. The coastal area of Tomini Bay has rich natural resource potential and diverse cultural diversity. However, this area often faces various challenges, especially in terms of education and character development of its young generation. Teenagers tend to feel unable to be equal to other teenagers in urban environments. This is because of their low self-confidence. Therefore, starting from this problem, the community service offers a solution by forming a self-confidence character through Public Speaking training for junior high school students in the coastal area of Tomini Bay. Public Speaking training gives students the opportunity to practice speaking in front of many people, be able to respond to feedback constructively, and overcome nervousness or anxiety. A structured and ongoing training program is expected to form a self-confidence character in students. The implementation of this community service activity uses a training method. This community service activity will be carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Satap Bonepantai. This school is one of the schools included in the coastal area of Tomini Bay. It is hoped that with this service, it can be a solution for the low level of student confidence to appear speaking in public in this case through Public Speaking training.

The main objective of this study was to determine the extent to which students' critical thinking skills can be improved through the implementation of a guided inquiry learning model based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a post-test only control group design. The study population consisted of 5 classes with a total of 190 students. From this population, the researcher took a sample of 68 students through a simple random sampling technique. The sample was then divided into two groups, namely 34 students for the experimental class and 34 students for the control class. The research instrument was a critical thinking skills test consisting of 20 objective, reasoned questions. The research data were analyzed using a t-test. Based on the calculation results, the t-value was 3.792, while the t-table value at a significance level of 0.05 was 2.037. This indicates that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the critical thinking skills of students who participated in learning with a guided inquiry model based on ESD compared to conventional learning. In addition, the improvement in critical thinking skills was also analyzed through the N-Gain calculation. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a 65% improvement, categorized as moderate, while the control class achieved a 59% improvement, also categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that guided inquiry learning integrated with ESD principles provides a more effective way to foster students' critical thinking skills compared to traditional methods. Therefore, ESD-based guided inquiry learning can be an alternative, innovative learning strategy to improve the quality of the learning process in secondary schools.

Problem-based learning (PBL) is an instructional model that utilizes problems as a starting point for acquiring and integrating new knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on improving students' learning outcomes on the topic of light properties in eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar during the 2022/2023 academic year. This research employed a quasi-experimental approach using a Randomized Control-Group Posttest-Only Design. Data collection methods included the administration of questionnaires, pretests and posttests, and oral interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model significantly influences students' learning outcomes on the topic of light properties. This is indicated by the t-test results, where tcount = 2.064 and ttable = 2.006 with df = 52. Since tcount > ttable (2.064 > 2.006), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. These findings demonstrate that the Problem-Based Learning model has a significant positive effect on students' learning outcomes in the topic of light properties among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar during the 2022/2023 academic year.

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and significant influence of the professional competence of PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong 2024/2025. The method used in this study is the quantitative inferential statistical method. The population is all Christian students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong 2024/2025 totaling 254 people and a sample of 48 people is determined, which is 20% of the population using random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 35 items, namely 15 items for variable X and 20 items for variable Y. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the professional competence of PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong 2024/2025 as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.618> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 48) = 0.284 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) A significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount = 5.330> ttable ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 46) = 2.021 thus there is a significant influence between variable X and variable Y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, the regression equation Y ̂="22.50" + 0.82X was obtained. b) Test of regression determination coefficient (r2) = 38.2%. Education has an important role not only in the transfer of knowledge but also in the formation of students' character and social skills, such as cooperation skills. At SMP 8 Palangkaraya, efforts to improve the cooperation skills of grade VII students were made through an arts-based project, namely P5 Tari Nusantara. The project aims to provide direct guidance to students in the learning process, not only in the technical mastery of dance, but also in the development of social skills such as planning, communication, and collaboration. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to develop mutual respect, share responsibilities, and complete tasks effectively in groups. Structured mentoring also involves teachers and parents to ensure the skills taught can be applied in daily life. As a result, the project is expected to be an effective model for improving cooperation skills and enriching students' learning experience at SMP 8 Palangkaraya.

The use of effective sentences has a strong influence on the quality of the content of a work. In cerpen writing, it is necessary to use effective language so that both the written and the implied meanings of cerpen can be well conveyed. The study aims to describe the forms of error in the use of sentences effectively in the formation of content quality on cerpen, as well as to present a comprehensive analysis of the linguistic aspects in the cerpen anthology "Back the Window of Ibnu Abbas" as a source of reading for students of 8th grade high school. The study uses qualitative descriptive methods through a language analysis approach by evaluating the quality of the content and effectiveness of the sentences in the book. This research data is a sentence quotation in a cerpen in which there are written errors in the use of effective sentences. Data collection techniques are done with reading and recording techniques. The results of this study found: (1) repetition of verbs, (2) inappropriate dictionary selection, (3) passing sentences, and (4) ambiguous sentences in a cerpen. Such errors make sentences less effective and affect the quality of the cerpen content. The findings of this study provide an in-depth understanding of how the structure of sentences, the meaning of words, the context of language usage, and the form of words influence the understanding and experience of readers of a literary work.

This study aims to describe students' interest in learning Indonesian language subjects in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi in the 2024/2025 school year. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that students in class VII-I at SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi already had an interest in learning in Indonesian language subjects in class. Supporting factors for student interest in learning are student motivation, encouragement from Indonesian language teachers, a conducive learning environment and adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors of students' interest in learning in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi are the conduciveness of the classroom environment, the lack of complete learning facilities and infrastructure and the busyness of individual students when learning Indonesian subjects. Efforts made by Indonesian language teachers are providing motivation and encouragement before Indonesian language learning takes place and ensuring a conducive learning environment. The conclusion of this research is a) interest in learning plays an important role in the achievement of Indonesian language learning objectives in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi 2) Most students in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi already have the criteria for interest in learning in class 3) factors that support student interest in learning in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi are learning motivation, encouragement from Indonesian language subject teachers, conducive environment and adequate facilities and infrastructure.

The problems of this research were students’ lack of vocabulary, lack of pronunciation, lost confident, a fear of making mistakes, and speaking English is difficult to learn. This research aimed to find out how the TGT method improves students' speaking ability and the significant factors in using the TGT method at SMPN 2 Padang. This research used purposive sampling and VIII.5 as sample in the classroom. This research used qualitative research design and Classroom Action Research approach that consisted 2 cycles, and has four stages, namely; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instrument of this research was test; pre-test and post-test, observation sheet, and questionnaire. The research results showed a significant increase in students' speaking ability, the improvement of percentage was 18.75% from pre-test to post-test II. The questionnaire revealed that 88.12% of students preferred learning with intrinsic motivation, which showed that the importance of motivation in the learning process.

Over time, the presence of youtefa bridge has had an effect on land use along holtekamp's coast. Changes in resource use, such as cafes building, resort or resort, and OARS for the activities of national xx sports week are a new problem because land that should be reduced to parks is turned into a generating area. The purpose of this study is to find the LHR comparison and to explain land use comparisons in 2019 and 2021, as well as to explain the relation between accessibility to land use at the research site. The approach used in this study is the cumulative and quantitative approach. The LHR conditions on the research site in 2021 saw an increase of 1,250 SMP per hour or twice that of 2019. While land use in 2021 is 28.4 ha. For accessibility tas effect on land use, a value of 1.53 on which it falls in a high category. The function of land governance in the scope of the research site or youtefa bridge is not all that is cultivated. It is necessary to consider how the region functions in order to match its land requirements.

This research aims to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on teacher performance at SMPN 2 Puspahiang. The method used in this research is cuntitative through a survey approach. In this study, the sample taken was the entire population of teachers at SMPN 2 PUSPAHIANG, the population of which was 42 teachers. The data used is primary data. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple regression using SPSS 26.0. The results of the research show that the Leadership Style obtained from the Teachers of SMPN 2 Puspahiang has good criteria. Work Motivation for SMPN 2 Puspahiang Teacher products has good assessment criteria, Teacher Performance for SMPN 2 Puspahiang Teachers has good assessment criteria. Together Leadership Style and work motivation have a significant influence on Teacher Performance. Partially Leadership Style has a significant influence on Teacher Performance. Partially, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Thesis: Christian Religious Education Study Program, Tarutung State Christian Institute. The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative with a descriptive approach to inferential statistics. The population is all class IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 149 people and a sample of 43 people was determined, namely 30% of the population using simple random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 46 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.594> rtable = 0.301, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable significant between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.3%. 3) Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable=22.28>1.51. Thus Ha is that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX SMP N 4 Doloksanggul Academic Year 2024/2025 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence of the pedagogical competence of PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence of the pedagogical competence of PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The quantitative research method is descriptive and inferential. The population of all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year who are Protestant Christians is 116 people. The sample is random (random sampling), namely 35% from each class of 41 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of the data analysis obtained: a) The value of r count = 0.661> r table = 0.308 and t count = 5.501> t table = 2.02269 indicates a positive and significant relationship between the pedagogical competence of PAK teachers and the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. b) Regression equation. c) Determination test shows that the magnitude of the influence is 43.69%. d) Hypothesis test obtained F count = 30.372> F table = 3.23 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The study concludes that there is a positive and significant influence between the pedagogical competence of PAK teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

This research aims to determine the influence of the Indonesian language contextual learning model in writing e-book based reviews in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis and to obtain an overview of the influence of the Indonesian language contextual learning model in writing e-book based reviews in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis This research was carried out on May 29 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The approach taken in this research is quantitative. The sample technique is taken 20% of the total population. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results found in this research are that there is a significant influence between the Indonesian contextual learning model in writing e-book based reviews in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The results of the research show that if you look at the accumulated data in table 21, there are respondents in the strongly agree category with a score of 412, respondents in the agree category with a score of 579, respondents in the disagree category with a score of 196 and respondents in the disagree category with a score of 11 so that it can be drawn. The conclusion is that students generally admit that they have the ability to write e-book based reviews using the contextual learning model.

The purpose of this study was to develop and produce hybrid learning in the subject of Christian Religious Education and Character Education of class VIII of Junior High Schools in Indonesia in the odd semester of the Independent Curriculum. This study uses a development method with the ADDIE approach model. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pollung. Data collection used a validation questionnaire and a response questionnaire. The validation questionnaire was used for validator lecturers who are media experts, design experts, material experts, and language experts. The response questionnaire was used for PAK teachers of class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pollung and students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pollung totaling 24 people for small groups and 66 people for large groups. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of hybrid learning media products using PowerPoint in the subject of Christian Religious Education and Character Education of class VIII of SMP in the Odd Semester of the Independent Curriculum. The results of the study indicate that the products made are valid and suitable to be used as learning media. The assessment is based on validation experts, teachers, and students, namely media experts obtained an assessment percentage of 100% (very valid), design experts 96% (very valid), material experts 100% (very valid), language experts 100% (very valid), PAK teachers 100% (very valid), and finally students in small and large groups obtained an average percentage of 100% (very good).

This study aims to determine how much positive and significant influence there is between the Use of Storytelling Methods on the Activeness of PAK Learning and Character of Class VIII Students of SMP N 3 Simanindo, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence between the Use of Storytelling Methods on the Activeness of PAK Learning and Character of Class VIII Students of SMP N 3 Simanindo. This study uses a quantitative descriptive inferential approach, with a population of all students of Class VIII SMP N 3 Simanindo who are Protestant Christians totaling 34 people as the research sample. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 38 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 student respondents outside the research respondents, and its validity and reliability have been tested. The results of the data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence between the Use of the Storytelling Method on the Activeness of PAK Learning and Character Education of Class VIII Students of SMP N 3 Simanindo in the 2024/2025 Academic Year: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.871> rtable (α = 0.05, n = 34) 0.339, thus there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount value of 10.035> ttable (α = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 32) 2.03693 thus there is a significant relationship between variable x and variable y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Ŷ = 2.27 + 0.67X. b) Determination coefficient test (r2) = 75.9%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable (α = 0.05, dk numerator k = 2, dk denominator = n-23 = 34-2 = 32) namely 98.71 > 3.23, thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of PAK teachers' social competence on the morality of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative, descriptive and inferential research methods. The population, namely all Protestant Christian students in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaled 199 people and a sample of 50 people was determined, namely 25% of the population using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of the social competence of PAK teachers on the morality of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0,433 > rtabel(=0,05,n=50) = 0,297 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of thitung= 3,333 > ttabel(=0,05,dk=n-2=48)= 2,021 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation =46,75+0,26X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 18,8%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fhitung > Ftabel=(=0,05), dk numerator k=20,dk denominator=n-2=50-2=48) namely 11,08 > 1,51. Thus, Ha, that is, there is an influence of the social competence of PAK teachers on the morality of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year is accepted and H0 is rejected.
