This study aims to understand and analyze the doctrine of the Bible as the foundation of Christian faith. The Bible plays a central role in various aspects of spiritual and ethical life for Christians. In the context of systematic theology, the doctrine of the Bible provides deep insights into the structure, authorship, and inspiration of this sacred text. This article examines several key issues, including the understanding of the doctrine of the Bible, the division of the books, the Bible’s authors, and the benefits and relevance of the Bible in spiritual life. Through an analytical approach to the doctrine of the Bible, this study seeks to elaborate on the role of sacred scripture in sustaining Christian faith amidst widespread false teachings and modern challenges.

Generation Z is the generation born between 1997 – 2012, who in 2023 will be 11 – 26 years old (Beresford Research). Some of Generation Z in 2024 will be teenagers. During this time, teenagers often face difficult times in finding their identity. Especially in generation Z, who were born in the midst of very rapid developments, especially in the internet era, which requires teenagers to be able to master it well. Along with the positive impacts that occur, negative impacts also affect teenagers today. The challenges and challenges faced by teenagers can have a negative impact on their future success. Therefore, there is a need for mentors around them to direct them. Faith is the basis that generation Z must have to be able to adapt in the search for identity and compete in a very rapid era of development. In this way, the Church plays a very important role in building the growth of faith of generation Z. This faith growth research was carried out at the JKI Mahanaim Church in Blitar City, East Java in order to increase the growth of faith of generation Z in the internet era in Blitar City and form a new concept in the world of pastoral ministries. This research uses a literature study method with a qualitative and descriptive approach. Researchers used James W Fowler's theory of faith growth to determine indicators of Generation Z experiencing faith growth. From the results of this research, it is hoped that Church Leaders and Mentors will pay special attention to the growth of faith and ways to build the faith of Generation Z.

Criminals who are being held in the South Tangerang Police detention center really need attention and care from others. One of them is service to prisoners. Regarding service to prisoners, there are many journals that discuss this, for example in the Correctional Institution (Lapas). In the South Tangerang Police itself, there is no journal for service to prisoners, therefore I want to explore this further. So this journal discusses service to prisoners. This study uses a qualitative method with observation and interviews. This study aims to provide information on the implementation of service to prisoners, this is spiritual service and the impact of service. Service at the South Tangerang Police Resort is very helpful in increasing the growth of faith and repentance. Because service can encourage and help faith grow further, so that prisoners can accept the circumstances they experience and that faith leads them to repentance to become a righteous person.

Diversity in society is an unavoidable reality, especially in Indonesia which is known for its plurality of ethnicities, religions, and cultures. Christian Religious Education (PAK) has an important role in preparing the younger generation to live in harmony amidst differences. This article explores strategies that can be applied in PAK to face the challenges of diversity. The research conducted by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive study using a qualitative library approach. This approach focuses on describing the research problem. With an inclusive approach, PAK can help students understand and appreciate differences, promote interfaith dialogue, and encourage real actions that contribute to peace and social justice. The results show that PAK that is responsive to diversity is able to form individuals who not only have strong faith, but are also open and ready to contribute positively in a pluralistic society. The proposed strategies include integrating inclusive values ​​into the curriculum, developing interfaith dialogue skills, and strengthening student involvement in social activities that prioritize cooperation between religious communities. Christian Religious Education also plays an important role in improving the quality of Indonesian society, both in knowledge, attitudes, spirituality, and daily life. In this way, Indonesian people will have knowledge of God and strong faith in living a righteous life every day.

This study aims to describe the principle of perseverance taught by Elijah through his exemplary life, explain Elijah's strategies in facing life's challenges, and identify the meaning of Elijah's faith and its relevance to everyday life. Elijah demonstrated extraordinary perseverance in his obedience to God, as seen in his story in 1 Kings 17:1-6. He remained faithful to the mission given by God, despite facing various challenges, including spiritual conflict, physical threats, social isolation, and inner turmoil. The pinnacle of Elijah's faith is seen in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, where Elijah challenged idol worship with a strong conviction in God's power. Elijah's experience teaches the importance of maintaining faith in the midst of challenges, consistency in pursuing goals, and nurturing a personal relationship with God as a source of strength. Elijah's life also has relevance in the modern context, especially in terms of empowering leadership, spiritual integrity, moral courage, and commitment to divine truth..

Christian Religious Education (CRE) plays a significant role as a means of character formation for students within the complex multicultural context of Indonesia. CRE not only emphasizes understanding Biblical teachings but also instills values such as love, tolerance, and moral responsibility, which are relevant to cultural and religious diversity. In a diverse society, character education through CRE aims to shape individuals who respect differences, are able to live harmoniously, and serve as "salt and light" in society. Through an inclusive and dialogical approach, CRE teaches students to appreciate diversity without losing their Christian identity. This study employs a literature review method to identify the challenges and opportunities in implementing CRE as a character-building tool in a multicultural society. The results show that a multicultural approach in CRE creates space for interfaith dialogue, helps prevent intolerance, and shapes a generation committed to values of peace and love. Thus, CRE not only plays a role in students' faith formation but also in building the tolerant character needed in a pluralistic society

Islamic Education Philosophy has been a solid foundation in shaping Muslim character for centuries. However, in the dynamic and challenging era of globalization, the relevance of this philosophy is increasingly questionable. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the principles of Islamic Education Philosophy are still relevant in shaping Muslim character that is able to face the complexities of the modern world. Through literature review and comparative analysis, this study reveals that the core values of Islamic Education Philosophy such as monotheism, akhlakul karimah, and knowledge are still very relevant in shaping Muslim character that is faithful, has noble character, and has global competence. This study also identifies specific challenges faced by Islamic education in the era of globalization, as well as strategies that can be applied to overcome these challenges. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of a more relevant and effective Islamic education curriculum in shaping a quality Muslim generation.

Self-confidence is an important element in achieving success and happiness, and has a significant positive relationship with motivation to learn. However, many individuals face challenges in building their self-confidence due to social pressure and negative experiences. In this context, this study explores sources of motivation from a Quranic perspective, specifically through Surah At-Thaha verses 25-28, which describe Prophet Moses' plea to Allah for peace and ease in facing life's challenges. Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab provides the insight that self-confidence should be built on faith in Allah and recognition of one's potential. This study also highlights the importance of social support, appreciation, and a supportive environment in building self-confidence. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, the results show that self-confidence can be strengthened through spiritual connection, internal reinforcement, and recognition of personal weaknesses, which ultimately encourages individuals to express themselves and reach their full potential. This research is expected to inspire readers to apply Quranic values in their daily lives, in order to increase self-confidence and freedom of expression.

Dairi Regency has a favorable geographical location, Sidikalang is the capital of Dairi Regency and has enormous industrial potential. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential for industrial development in Dairi Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method that is library research using books and other literature as the main object. The results of the study show that geographical conditions, climate, and natural resources support various types of plants. The leading commodities are curly chilies, shallots, ginger, turmeric, corn, paddy fields, durian, Siamese oranges, Arabica coffee, and Robusta coffee. The potential for developing the fisheries industry with a focus on tilapia, carp, catfish, and jurung. The potential for developing tourism with ecotourism; trekking, mountain biking, observing flora and fauna, relaxing at Lake Toba. Agrotourism: visiting coffee, tea, orange plantations, learning about cultivation, then farming. Culinary and cultural tourism; art and cultural performances, cooking classes, culinary tourism. This study examines the theological significance of miracles in the Gospel of John within the framework of New Testament studies and their function as signs that lead people to knowledge of and faith in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God. Within a Christological framework, in the Gospel of John, miracles are presented selectively as theological signs designed to foster and affirm faith in Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God. This research adopts a qualitative methodology, utilizing a literature review and theological analysis of the miracle narratives in the Gospel of John. The analysis is conducted with particular attention to the Gospel's narrative structure and its declared purpose (John 20:30–31). The study's results demonstrate that the Gospel of John selectively presents certain miracles as signs imbued with deep theological meaning. These miracles not only manifest divine power but also disclose Jesus's identity and guide readers toward faith. The miracles in the Gospel of John should not be interpreted solely as supernatural events, but as instruments of divine revelation designed to cultivate and form faith. Faith constitutes the primary response to these signs, directing readers to confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that through faith in Him, eternal life is obtained.

This research examines the Asbābun Nuzūl of verse 174 of Surah Al-Baqarah and its relationship with faith in Allah as the Creator of the heavens and the earth. This verse contains a strong warning against those who conceal Allah’s revelations and exchange divine truth for worldly gain. Using a qualitative approach based on library research, this study analyzes the historical background of the revelation, its socio-religious context, and interpretations from classical and contemporary Qur’anic scholars. The findings indicate that the Asbābun Nuzūl of verse 174 is closely related to the behavior of certain People of the Book who deliberately hid the truth about the prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ for personal interests. Such actions reflect a weak acknowledgment of Allah’s absolute authority as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. The connection between this verse and Allah as the Creator of the heavens and the earth emphasizes that all knowledge, revelation, and truth originate solely from Him and must not be manipulated for material benefit. This research is expected to strengthen Islamic theological understanding regarding the obligation to convey truth honestly and to reinforce faith in Allah as the ultimate source of creation, guidance, and moral responsibility.

This article discusses the importance of developing a Christian Religious Education (PAK) model based on Christian theology and implemented through the active role of the church in carrying out the Great Commission. True Christian education does not only convey doctrinal information, but also forms the character, spirituality, and calling of the people based on the word of God. The church is positioned as a learning community and the main implementer of the contextual, transformative, and biblical theology-rooted faith education process. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach and literature study, this paper emphasizes that theological foundations, such as God as the source of education, the Bible as the basis of teaching, Christ as the focus, and the church as the implementer, are inseparable elements of PAK. Christian Religious Education based on theology provides clear direction in designing content, methods, and learning objectives that are in line with God's will. Thus, this education model is expected to be able to answer the challenges of the times, strengthen the faith of the congregation, and produce strong and relevant followers of Christ in society.

Early marriage conducted through siri (unregistered religious marriage) remains a complex social phenomenon in Indonesia, often influenced by emotional ties, religious beliefs, and family expectations. This study explores the intersection between love, faith, and family in shaping decisions surrounding early siri marriage and religious conversion. Through a qualitative approach, the research examines how young individuals navigate personal relationships while facing moral, spiritual, and cultural pressures. The findings reveal that early siri marriage is frequently chosen as a solution to preserve family honor or legitimize romantic relationships, yet it also creates legal and psychological vulnerabilities, especially for young women. Furthermore, the decision to convert religions is shown to be deeply connected to marital commitments and familial influence, reflecting the struggle between personal conviction and social acceptance. This study highlights the need for broader legal protection, education, and social support systems to address the long-term impacts of unregistered early marriage and religious transition. Ultimately, the research emphasizes that decisions regarding marriage and faith are rarely individual choices alone, but rather shaped by powerful emotional and familial dynamics.

The Eucharist has a deep meaning; understanding this will help Catholics to live it more deeply. One of the meanings of the Eucharist can be explored by knowing that the Eucharist has its roots in the Jewish Passover tradition. This article aims to discuss the historical and theological relationship between the Jewish Passover tradition and the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. The method used is a literature study. The article explains that the Eucharist has its roots in three main concepts of the Jewish tradition: heavenly manna, the bread of the Divine presence, and communion. These meanings can contribute to increasing the awareness and faith of the people in celebrating the Eucharist.

In this modern era, preaching is not only done on the pulpit, but also through print and electronic media, especially social media such as Instagram. Many people are involved in spreading the preaching through these platforms. One form of interesting preaching content is motion graphic video, a combination of 2D animation representing moving infographics. Motion graphics combine elements of illustration, typography, photography, and videography with animation to strengthen the delivery of the message. This study aims to determine the preaching messages in the motion graphic videos uploaded by Ustadz Muhammad Nuzul Dzikri through the Instagram account @muhammadnuzuldzikri, which include the themes of faith, morals, and Islamic law. The method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques and observation of 9 motion graphic videos uploaded from December 2024 to January 2025.

Amid rising challenges of intolerance, social polarization, and the strengthening of exclusive religious sentiments, interreligious dialogue has become a strategic instrument for nurturing diversity and reinforcing national harmony. This study examines how interreligious dialogue contributes to strengthening the pillars of harmony as outlined in the concept of the Tri Kerukunan Umat Beragama (Three Pillars of Religious Harmony). It also explores the extent to which this concept remains relevant and effective in addressing the current dynamics of religious diversity in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of dialogue as a mechanism of cross-faith communication in fostering mutual understanding, cultivating respect for differences, and promoting harmonious social relations within a pluralistic society. Using a qualitative approach through a comprehensive literature review, this study investigates various scholarly works related to interfaith dialogue, religious harmony, and Indonesia’s socio-religious landscape.The findings indicate that interreligious dialogue functions not only as a means of resolving differences and preventing conflict but also as a transformative space that strengthens trust, cooperation, and solidarity across religious communities. The attitude of Christians to live righteously and live holy is very necessary amidst the lives of people who live evil and unclean lives. Roman Emperors and their followers in ancient times rejected John's prophecies written in the Book of Revelation, so they continued to carry out evil and dirty deeds. Likewise, some members of the Christian congregation in Asia Minor were unwilling to endure suffering because of it offended Jesus Christ through their sinful actions. Christians were constantly intimidated into denying Jesus, so that some did not faithfully follow Jesus to the point of death. The aim of this research is to encourage readers and listeners of the essence of the Book of Revelation not to do evil and unclean things in their lives. The research methodology used is qualitative research with a literature research approach. The result obtained is that if Christian educators become more loyal in teaching Christians (Christian students) in educational institutions, then Christian students will increasingly free themselves from the evil and uncleanness they once practiced. Conclusion: Christians (Christian students) must be taught continuously through the word of God to experience repentance, live righteously, live holy, and not to deny Jesus Christ in their lives.

This study examines the dynamics of Christian families in navigating modern lifestyles, focusing on the congregation of GKII Efata Bonet Engkabang. Modernity characterized by digitalization, high mobility, economic pressure, and shifting social values has significantly influenced family communication patterns, emotional relationships, and spiritual formation within Christian households. The purpose of this study is to describe the changes experienced by congregational families in the context of modernity and to analyze the role of pastoral counseling as a relevant form of support for family well-being. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, limited observations, and a review of church documents. The findings indicate that Christian families face challenges such as declining communication quality, reduced family time, the pervasive influence of gadgets on daily interactions, and weakened spiritual disciplines. Furthermore, shifting parenting patterns and increasing psychological pressure also affect family stability. Within this context, pastoral counseling in GKII Efata Bonet Engkabang plays an essential role in providing spiritual, emotional, and practical guidance through empathetic, relational, and faith-based approaches. Pastoral care has proven effective in helping families realign life priorities, strengthen communication, and cultivate sustainable spiritual practices. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of enhancing structured family support programs in the church, improving pastoral leaders’ capacity as counselors, and encouraging families to develop healthy digital discipline to maintain relational and spiritual quality amid the demands of modern life.

This study examines the asbab al-nuzul of Qur’an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 158 and its relationship with the practice of sa’i in Hajj and Umrah as an expression of gratitude for Allah’s blessings. This verse was revealed to address the doubts of some Companions regarding the legitimacy of sa’i between Safa and Marwah, which during the pre-Islamic era had been associated with idolatrous practices. Using a library research method and exegetical analysis, this study demonstrates that Surah Al-Baqarah verse 158 affirms Safa and Marwah as part of the symbols (sha‘a’ir) of Allah that must be honored and performed within the rites of Hajj and Umrah. The practice of sa’i is not merely a ritual obligation but also embodies profound historical, spiritual, and educational values rooted in the story of Hajar’s struggle in seeking water for Prophet Ismail. Values of patience, effort, reliance on Allah, and gratitude are reflected in every step of sa’i. Understanding the asbab al-nuzul of this verse is expected to encourage Muslims to perform Hajj and Umrah with deeper awareness, sincerity, and meaning, so that worship transcends formal ritual and contributes to character building and the strengthening of faith.
