Abdominal wall defects are a common surgical presentation and an indication for surgery worldwide, with an estimated prevalence of around 5% in the general population. Ventral hernias may be asymptomatic, but symptoms of discomfort and pain can significantly impact quality of life and may be associated with a negative body image. This technique utilizes the layered anatomy of the abdominal wall, and depending on which layer is released, it can be categorized as anterior component separation. This case study discusses a patient with a ventral hernia. After taking the patient's history, conducting a physical examination, and additional assessments, the patient underwent surgical intervention using the anterior component separation technique with mesh reinforcement. In this case study, the short-term outcomes (<2 years) for the post-operative hernia patient with anterior component separation will be evaluated. The study results indicate that the patient experienced mild to moderate post-operative pain, with no serious complications such as seroma or mesh erosion occurring, confirming that the choice of surgical technique and appropriate mesh selection can minimize the risk of infection and complications. The evaluation results show a significant improvement in the patient’s quality of life post-surgery, as the patient not only experienced pain reduction but also improvements in daily activities and satisfaction with the aesthetic results of their abdomen.

This study examines the virtues of knowledge and the classification of education based on the perspectives of two prominent Islamic scholars, Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim, grounded in the framework of the Qur'an and Hadith. Islam assigns a distinguished position to knowledge, as reflected in Qur'anic verses such as Al-Mujadilah 11, which promises elevated ranks for those who believe and possess knowledge, and the supplication for increased knowledge in Thaha 114. In Hadith, knowledge is likened to beneficial milk that must be shared with others. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the importance of knowledge as a path to happiness in both this world and the hereafter, while Ibn Qayyim highlights the role of knowledge in drawing closer to Allah and shaping a complete human character. This research employs a literature review method to explore the concepts of the virtues of knowledge and education in Islam through the perspectives of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim. The findings reveal that both scholars present complementary views on the value of knowledge as an act of worship that brings one closer to Allah SWT, while categorizing knowledge based on its benefits for individuals and society. This study underscores that seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim and a path to paradise, as affirmed in the Qur'an and Hadith. These findings provide valuable contributions to the development of Islamic education, particularly in instilling the virtues of knowledge in modern educational curricula.

Puskesmas Kosambi employs Non-PNS staff whose discipline, particularly regarding attendance and work location, needs to be evaluated. The previous manual attendance system was found to be ineffective in monitoring staff discipline. This study aims to develop a mobile-based attendance system equipped with GPS radius and selfie photo features to improve the accuracy and management of attendance. The GPS radius feature ensures that staff can only clock in within the designated area, such as the Puskesmas area, while the selfie photo feature verifies the identity of the staff member clocking in. This study involved 24 Non-PNS staff members and used the K-Means Clustering algorithm to group staff based on their discipline levels. The results showed that the system was effective in improving staff discipline, with 11 employees categorized as highly disciplined, 10 as moderately disciplined, and 3 as lowly disciplined. The implications of this study suggest that the implementation of a mobile-based attendance system can improve attendance monitoring and enhance work discipline at Puskesmas Kosambi.

Resistance to change (RTC) is a significant challenge in implementing educational reforms, particularly in the 21st century. This study explores strategies to overcome RTC among educators, using a qualitative approach involving 20 teachers from diverse backgrounds. Data collected through open-ended questions and a Likert scale reveal that Facilitation and Support (85%) and Negotiation and Agreement (90%) are the most effective strategies, highlighting the importance of training, resource allocation, and incentives in fostering adaptability. Participation and Involvement (75%) also proves effective by enhancing teacher commitment through collaborative decision-making. In contrast, Manipulation and Co-optation and authority-driven strategies are viewed as less sustainable, with respondents expressing concerns over their long-term impact. Challenges such as frequent curriculum changes, limited technological proficiency, and unclear communication exacerbate RTC. This study emphasizes the need for practical strategies like direct support, collaboration, and motivational incentives to address resistance effectively. The findings extend Kotter and Schlesinger’s framework by contextualizing it within educational settings and highlight the interplay between external pressures for reform and internal resistance mechanisms. By aligning resources, fostering collaboration, and incentivizing participation, schools can navigate the complexities of change and reduce resistance among educators.

The emergence of the resistance movement, of course, because there are factors that influence it. The birth of DI/TII in Aceh was caused by the central government's policy to merge Aceh province into North Sumatra province on August 8, 1950. This paper will explain the application of emergency military law. Specifically during the conflict that occurred in the Aceh region which led to the formation of the Free Aceh Movement from 1976 to 2005. By using normative legal research methods. The trigger for the proclamation of Aceh's independence was the exploitation of Aceh's natural resources during the Soeharto era, where petroleum and natural gas were managed by Exxon Mobil Oil Indonesia which caused regional sentiment, that all Aceh's wealth was sent to Jakarta, even Hasan Tiro once said Aceh should have the advantage of its natural resources like Brunei Darussalam. The Presidential Decree (Keppres) to launch a massive military operation in Aceh had been drafted long before, after cabinet meetings held at the Palace, as well as through the deliberations of the people's representatives in Senayan, Jakarta in early 2003. The aim was to crush the Free Aceh Movement (GAM). The Helsinki MOU is one of the negotiations carried out between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Free Aceh Movement held in Helsinki, Finland, August 15, 2005 creating a new system and method of relations between the central government and the Aceh government, which is fully supported by the international community.
