Uncollectible receivables have a considerable risk and can reduce the level of company profitability. Therefore, every company needs to pay special attention to the management of receivables so as not to cause losses. One of the appropriate methods for recording bad debts in the financial statements is the reserve method. Therefore, the company forms a reserve based on estimates of receivables that are estimated to be uncollectible. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the way accounting treats receivables and how this impacts the financial statements. Using primary data, this research was conducted at KOPERINDO JATIM Kandat, which is located at Jl. Raya Kediri, Kandat Village, Kandat District, Kediri Regency, East Java 64173. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the analysis show that, using the percentage of sales approach, the total amount of bad debts will reach Rp23,272,860 in 2024. In contrast, using the reserve method with the percentage of receivables approach, the amount of bad debts will reach Rp120,669,520 in 2024. Based on these results, the calculation of the reserve method with the percentage of receivables approach is in accordance with the theory, which aims to add the amount of accounts receivable to the total receivable.

This study analyzes the level of economic development disparity among regions in East Java Province during the period 2009–2023 using the Klassen Typology approach. The study aims to map the classification of regions based on economic growth rates and per capita GRDP to identify spatial disparities among the 38 districts/cities in the province. The analysis results indicate significant inequality, with regions such as Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik consistently categorized as advanced and rapidly growing areas (Quadrant I), while regions such as Sampang, Pamekasan, and Bondowoso fall into the underdeveloped category (Quadrant IV). This phenomenon shows that the economic spillover effect from growth centers to surrounding regions remains suboptimal and suggests the need for spatially-based policy interventions. This study provides important implications for formulating more inclusive regional development policies and recommends further quantitative analysis to identify the determinants of inequality in greater depth.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, but only 15.7% have successfully penetrated the global market due to limited human resources (HR) and cross-sector collaboration (BPS, 2023). This study aims to analyse the role of collaborative HR initiatives in opening global market access for MSMEs in East Java, using a quantitative approach with AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on a sample of 150 MSMEs. The results of the analysis show that HR collaboration across sectors (government, private sector, academia) has a significant effect on improving global market access , while self-training is not significant. The findings strengthen the Resource-Based View theory by emphasising collaborative HR as a strategic asset of MSMEs. Practical implications include integrated policy recommendations and partnerships with global platforms (e.g., Amazon, Alibaba), as well as ethical considerations related to programme inclusivity and MSME data protection. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of an adaptive HR collaboration model for MSMEs in developing countries.

In the last ten years, Indonesia has been carrying out massive infrastructure development. The goal is to facilitate community mobility which has an impact on economic growth. Infrastructure development also aims to increase the Human Development Index even though it does not directly affect it. One of the provinces that contributed to infrastructure development was East Java, with the Human Development Index during the 2018-2022 period increasing and tending to stagnate. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to identify the influence of infrastructure development on the Human Development Index, including identifying the influence of poverty on the Human Development Index. The research methodology used is quantitative with  a Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) approach that allows to comprehensively identify the Regional Development Index in East Java. The results obtained were that the variables of Infrastructure Development with the dimensions of Road Length (6,172) and Number of Schools (2,686) had an impact on the Human Development Index in East Java. Meanwhile, the poverty variable (-6,139) has no effect on the Human Development Index (HDI). However, simultaneously the variables of Infrastructure Development and Poverty affect the National Development Index (HDI) with a calculation of 64.42 > 2.4202.
