Criminal responsibility is constructed through the elements of homicide offences, the assessment of mens rea, accomplice liability, and sentencing rationality grounded in individual culpability. In judicial practice, however, cases involving the killing of women are frequently framed at the outset through the labels of “honour” or “intimate relationship,” leading honour killing and intimate partner femicide to be treated as interchangeable categories. This practice shifts the assessment of intent toward the perpetrator’s narrated motive and narrows accountability to the last physical actor. This research aims to formulate, first, legal criteria and evidentiary indicators for distinguishing the two categories through a staged judicial classification test, and second, to assess the implications of such classification for the construction of intent, the attribution of responsibility to non-executing actors, and sentencing rationality through disciplined reason-giving. The study employs a normative legal method with a conceptual approach, based on library research of primary and secondary legal materials. The findings demonstrate that the core deficiency lies in the absence of an operational classification device, allowing honour narratives to displace structured mens rea analysis and to obscure the causal contributions of non-executors. The article proposes working definitions and a stepwise indicator-based test—focusing on the presence of determinative social pressure or sanctioning, provable role allocation within perpetrator networks, and prior threats framed in terms of honour restoration—and links these indicators to concrete doctrinal consequences for intent, accomplice liability, and sentencing. Through this framework, judicial reasoning is redirected from label-driven interpretation toward accountability, while restraining the use of honour as a mitigating rationale and preventing femicide patterns from being concealed by reputational narratives.

RS at Kemayoran continues to experience low conversion of antenatal care (ANC) patients to delivery services, with a conversion rate of 6.9% in 2024. The maternity ward Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) also remains below national standards. Preliminary assessments indicate dissatisfaction with the hospital’s healthscape, low mimetic desire reflected in limited recommendations, and suboptimal perceived value. This study examines the effects of healthscape and mimetic desire on childbirth location decisions, with perceived value tested as a mediating variable. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data were collected from 210 ANC patients at RSUD Kemayoran through structured questionnaires. Variables included healthscape, mimetic desire, perceived value, and delivery location decision. All instruments met validity and reliability criteria. Results: Healthscape and mimetic desire significantly influenced the decision to choose RSUD Kemayoran for childbirth. Healthscape did not significantly affect perceived value, whereas mimetic desire showed a significant effect. Perceived value had a significant direct effect on delivery decisions but did not mediate the relationships between healthscape or mimetic desire and delivery choice. Healthscape emerged as the most influential determinant. Conclusion: Physical healthcare environments play a critical role in childbirth location decisions. Improving healthscape quality and strengthening professional and social recommendations may enhance ANC-to-delivery conversion rates in public hospitals.

This research explores the meaning of leadership in employee experiences at Ayam Uleg Cak Abit outlets in Malang City using a transcendental phenomenological approach. In the context of culinary organizations operating 24 hours without formal managerial structures, leadership is understood not merely as a structural position but as relational experiences shaping daily work life. This study involves six participants (two leaders and four employees) selected through purposive sampling, with data collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observations, and documentation. Data analysis follows Moustakas' (1994) four stages: epoche, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation, and synthesis of meanings and essences. Findings reveal that employees perceive meaningful leadership through leader's direct presence, involvement in operational work, emotional support during high-pressure situations, and creating work environments valuing each employee's contribution. Leadership essence emerges through authentic relationships, consistent exemplary behavior, and sincere care in daily interactions rather than formal authority or hierarchical position. This research contributes to leadership theory by providing phenomenological perspectives and offers practical implications for developing more humanistic leadership practices in informal organizations. The study concludes that meaningful leadership in culinary outlets is built through trust, open communication, and ability to build significant relationships with employees.

Employee cooperatives play a strategic role as an economic buffer for teachers and school staff, particularly in providing access to safe, transparent, and equitable financial services. This study aims to evaluate the salary and share deduction system in managing member loans at the “Maju Terus” Employee Cooperative of SMKS Yohanes XXIII Maumere. The evaluation focuses on salary deduction procedures for active members, share deduction mechanisms for inactive members, handling of arrears, system effectiveness, obstacles encountered, causes of obstacles, and improvement efforts that have been made. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The study results show that the salary and share deduction system has been implemented in a structured and effective manner, successfully maintaining the non-performing loan rate below 2% for the past three years, as well as supporting cash flow stability and increasing cooperative revenue. However, the implementation of this system still faces obstacles such as late payment of salary deductions by the school treasurer, insufficient shares of inactive members to cover arrears, a manual recording system, and minimal outreach to new members. Improvement efforts that have been made include monthly coordination meetings, intensive outreach, transparency through membership books, quarterly reporting, and the implementation of moral sanctions. These findings confirm that the salary and share deduction system is not only a loan security tool, but also a concrete manifestation of cooperative values: kinship, collective responsibility, and economic justice.

Background: Dental caries is a major problem in orodental health, especially in children. The primary cause of caries is the activity of cariogenic microorganisms. Unbalanced remineralization of dental tissue followed by destruction of organic matters may cause cumulative and progressive damage to the tooth structure. Extensive caries lesions that have reached the pulp are an indication for pulp therapy with appropriate crown restoration. Case Report: A 10-year-old boy came with a complaint of a painful cavity in his upper right front tooth. The patient was considered communicative and cooperative. The patient also had a habit of consuming sweets. An intraoral examination revealed extensive caries on the entire surface of 53. A periapical radiograph showed a radiolucent area reaching the pulp cavity on the occlusal surface of 53 with resorption of the apical one-third of the root. Based on the examination results, reversible pulpitis was established as the primary diagnosis. The treatment plan was pulpotomy with a dental crown restoration. Treatment was carried out over four visits. First visit included complete examination, periapical radiography, and pulpotomy. The second visit included core buildup, tooth preparation, and dental impressions. The third visit included try-in and crown insertion, followed by a final follow-up visit. Conclusion: Pulpotomy with dental crown restoration can be an effective clinical approach to restore the function and aesthetics of anterior deciduous teeth, especially in cases that consider aesthetics and cost limitations.

Stunting remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in Aceh Province. Family smoking behavior and adherence to exclusive breastfeeding are considered important determinants of child nutritional status. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family smoking behavior and exclusive breastfeeding adherence with stunting among toddlers in Tuha Village, Trienggadeng District, Pidie Jaya Regency. This study used a quantitative cross-sectional design with a sample of 46 toddlers selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with logistic regression tests. The results showed that family smoking behavior was significantly associated with stunting (p = 0.002; OR = 0.12; 95% CI: 0.03–0.47). Meanwhile, exclusive breastfeeding adherence was not significantly associated with stunting (p = 0.940; OR = 0.94; 95% CI: 0.17–5.09). These findings indicate that exposure to cigarette smoke in the household is an important risk factor affecting child nutritional status. Strengthening family-based interventions, especially smoke-free home initiatives, is essential to reduce stunting prevalence.

Antibiotics are one of the main pillars in the treatment of bacterial infections and have contributed significantly to increasing human life expectancy. However, long-term use of antibiotics has serious consequences for the balance of the body's microbiome, especially the gut microbiome which plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis through the regulation of the immune system, metabolism, and protection against pathogens. This literature review aims to comprehensively analyze the impact of long-term antibiotic use on the structure, diversity, and function of the human microbiome. The scientific articles reviewed were obtained from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases, including empirical research, systematic review, and meta-analysis published in the last ten years. The results showed that prolonged exposure to antibiotics consistently decreased microbiota diversity, altered the composition of bacterial communities, and triggered dysbiosis, which is often persistent even when therapy is stopped. Dysbiosis is associated with impaired immune system function, increased systemic inflammation, risk of allergic and metabolic diseases, and potential disorders on the intestinal-brain axis. This impact is more pronounced in vulnerable groups such as neonates and children, especially when exposure occurs during a critical period of development. In conclusion, long-term antibiotic use has broad systemic implications, so a more rational, prudent, and sustainable use strategy is needed to maintain the health of the human microbiome.

Digital transformation in higher education has reshaped learning patterns and students’ academic practices, including how they manage and complete academic tasks. On the one hand, digital learning offers flexibility and easy access to learning resources; on the other hand, it has intensified tendencies toward academic task procrastination. This study aims to analyze students’ academic task procrastination as a socially constructed reality within the context of digital learning. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and lecturers and analyzed using Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann’s social construction theory, encompassing the processes of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The findings indicate that task procrastination is externalized through flexible learning schedules, digital media distractions, fatigue with instructional methods, and academic pressure. These practices are subsequently objectivated through students’ collective experiences and social relations with lecturers, leading them to be perceived as normative behavior in digital learning. Furthermore, task procrastination is internalized as a habit and an adaptive, taken-for-granted strategy within students’ learning rhythms. This study affirms that academic task procrastination cannot be reduced to an individual problem alone; rather, it emerges from the complex interaction between technological structures, pedagogical practices, and academic social dynamics. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more reflective and contextual digital learning policies and strategies.
