The maintenance of education must be tailored to the needs and interests of students so that they learn something that interests them. Therefore, today's educational systems focus educational objectives and processes on the child's factor and can foster freedom of interests and needs. This makes the Social Science subjects taught in primary school must be based on the needs and interests of the child about the environment in which he lives. Basically, the subject of Social Science must be taught with a full sense of responsibility to the student, because it is very closely related to the people and the environment where humans live and carry out the activities to meet their needs. This makes the role of the teacher not only as a teacher but also as a guide and at the same time as an administrator. The personal teacher as a unit also determines the learning result given. Therefore, the component of the teaching situation, the correct delivery method and the media used also determine the learning outcome. Thus it can be concluded, that learning will be successful when considering many interrelated teaching components. These components can be grouped into three main categories, namely: first, the teacher, second, the subject matter, and third, the student. The interaction between the three main components involves the means and objects, methods, media and setting up of the learning environment so that a learning situation is created that enables the achievement of a previously planned goal.

This research analyzes the role of the Kupang Class II Correctional Center (BAPAS) in guiding and developing children in conflict with the law. Using an empirical legal method, the study relies on primary and secondary data. The issue of juvenile delinquency in Indonesia is escalating, with 1,885 cases reported in 2018 and 1,098 in 2020. Notably, children are involved in physical violence (58 cases), sexual violence (44 cases), and theft (22 cases). This highlights the urgent need for institutions like BAPAS to support, develop, and supervise these children. The research addresses two main questions: (1) What is the role of BAPAS in guiding and mentoring children in conflict with the law? and (2) What challenges does BAPAS face in the juvenile justice system? The findings reveal that BAPAS's role is divided into three stages: (a) pre-adjudication guidance and development, (b) support during the trial process (adjudication), and (c) assistance post-trial. BAPAS encounters challenges primarily related to the families of the children, as well as difficulties faced by community guidance officers in providing effective assistance. It is crucial for BAPAS to develop persuasive communication skills to engage families and encourage active participation in the rehabilitation process. This includes involvement in training and understanding the community's role in supporting children in conflict with the law.

Based on the observations that have been made, it is shown that students' mathematical communication skills are still relatively low so that an innovative learning model is needed to improve students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to see whether the improvement in students' mathematical communication skills taught with the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model is higher than the mathematical communication skills of students taught with the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and to see how the improvement in mathematical communication skills taught with the two models. This study is a study that is included in the quasi-experimental category with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were 62 students in grades VIII-A and VIII-E of SMP Negeri 4 Balige. Based on the research that has been done, the results of the N-Gain test were obtained with an average N-Gain value in experimental class 1, namely 0.813 in accordance with the Gain index criteria in the high category and the average N-Gain value in experimental class 2, namely 0.693 in accordance with the Gain index criteria in the medium category. Based on the research that has been done, because the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, the hypothesis test is carried out using the t-test. Through the t-test that has been done, it was obtained that , namely 2.465>2.000. Therefore  is rejected, which means that the increase in mathematical communication skills of students taught with the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model is higher than those taught with the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model.

Mastery of English has become an increasingly important requirement in this era of globalization. As an international language, English plays a crucial role in various aspects of life, ranging from education, career, to cross-cultural communication. In Indonesia, although English has been taught since elementary school level, there are still many students who experience difficulties in English speaking practice. This phenomenon raises concerns among educators and education stakeholders. Many university students have studied English for years but are still reluctant or unconfident to use it in everyday conversation. This reluctance is often referred to as "ignorance" or indifference to the importance of English speaking practice. Various factors can contribute to this problem, including ineffective teaching methods, lack of exposure to the use of English in real contexts, and psychological factors such as language anxiety and fear of making mistakes. Given the importance of English speaking skills in today's globalized world, it is important to delve deeper into the phenomenon of students' indifference in practicing spoken English.

Through the use of instructional games, this study investigates the function of student engagement in the acquisition of the English language. This study uses a combination of in-depth interviews, thematic analysis, and direct observation along with qualitative research methodologies to investigate the dynamics of student interaction in a game-based learning environment. The findings demonstrated that the usage of games greatly enhanced language proficiency, student engagement, and communication abilities. During the game sessions, there was a 40% rise in the use of new vocabulary and a 60% increase in English verbal contact. Furthermore, 80% of groups demonstrated greater levels of cooperation, and 75% of students actively participated in class. The use of mother tongue has decreased by 30% as well. This study shows that game-based learning has significant potential to enhance students' linguistic competency and collaborative skills in learning English, despite obstacles like uneven participation and other distractions. The significance of choosing games that are suitable, providing scaffolding, managing the classroom well, and incorporating formative assessment strategies are all practical implications for educators.

The purpose of this research was to produce a worksheet based on problem-based learning that would enhance students' ability to communicate mathematically when working with number pattern content. The quality of this LKPD refers to the effective aspect. This research uses a type of research and development (R&D) with a model developed by Borg & Gall. The subjects in this research were students in class VIII-5 of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa with a total of 27 students. The object of this research is teaching materials in the form of PBL-based LKPD. Teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, expert validation sheets, teacher interview question sheets, and tests of mathematical communication competence were the tools employed. Based on the research results, the effectiveness of LKPD can be seen from the achievement of learning completeness with an average individual learning completeness of 88 and for classical completeness of 96.3%. So the LKPD developed is declared "effective". Students' mathematical communication abilities are at a percentage of 90.1%, at high criteria, and it can be noted that for the N-Gain assessment, results were obtained with a student average of 0.74, meaning that there was an increase in students' mathematical communication abilities with high criteria. So, based on the results, it can be concluded that the LKPD developed in this research is valid, effective, and can improve students' mathematical communication skills.

Indonesian language instruction in elementary schools aims to improve students' oral and written communication. Indonesian serves as a primary tool for students to hone their language skills correctly and effectively. Reading skills in elementary school are divided into two phases: initial reading (lower grades) and further reading (upper grades). Initial reading skills influence students' readiness before entering the next learning stage. However, second-grade elementary school students often face difficulties in developing initial reading and writing skills. Factors such as socio-economic background, gender, and teaching methods used by teachers can affect the success of literacy programs. By considering these factors, we can improve students' literacy skills at the beginning level.
