This research investigated how using Articulate Storyline 3 within a Self-Directed Learning (SDL) model affected vocational students' motivation and physics learning achievements. The study employed a true experimental design, specifically a Post-test Only Control Group Design and was carried out at SMK Negeri 2 Jember. Sample determination is done by conducting a homogeneity test, then randomly selected for the control class and the experimental class through a lottery. Data was collected using observation, interview, questionnaire, test and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used was normality test and T test with the help of IBM SPSS 25 software. Questionnaire results indicated that students in the experimental group, who used the Self-Directed Learning model with Articulate Storyline 3, showed higher average learning motivation compared to the control group.  The results of data analysis of student learning motivation with the Independent Sample T-test test obtained a significance value of 0.010 ≤ 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The post-test results revealed that students in the experimental group, who learned physics using the Self-Directed Learning model with Articulate Storyline 3, achieved higher average scores than those in the control group. The results of data analysis of student physics learning outcomes tested with the Mann-Whitney U-test get a significance value of 0.004 ≤ 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the application of the SDL model accompanied by Articulate Storyline 3 media on student motivation and physics learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in class X mathematics at Muhammadiyah Maumere Private High School. The population of this study were students of class X IPA I and IPA 2, totaling 39 students. The sample in this study consisted of 39 students. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires related to emotional intelligence on the results of learning mathematics in class X SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere Private High School Based on the results of the analysis with a significant level of 5%, it can be concluded (1) There is a significant effect of emotional intelligence for the experimental class on mathematics learning outcomes (2) There is an insignificant effect of emotional intelligence for the control class on mathematics learning outcomes for Muhammadiyah Maumere Private High School students.

The use of technology-based learning media is believed to increase effectiveness and attractiveness in the learning process. One of the potential media to be implemented is Wordwall, an interactive platform that provides various types of educational games to support learning. This activity aims to increase student motivation and cooperation through the application of Wordwall media in mathematics learning, especially in arithmetic function material at SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity consists of two stages, namely the preparation stage and the learning stage. In the preparation stage, the team designs activities and prepares teaching materials. Furthermore, in the learning stage, Wordwall media is applied in the learning process, including through interactive quizzes that actively involve students. The results of the activity show that the use of Wordwall can increase student involvement in learning, as well as create a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Thus, Wordwall media can be an effective alternative in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes.

Fiqh learning at MA Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta faces challenges, particularly in understanding the Fathul Qarib Al-Mujib book, which is written in Arabic. This difficulty is more pronounced among students without a pesantren background, affecting their academic performance. Observations indicate that only 60% of students achieve learning mastery, while 40% score below the minimum competency standard (KKM) of 80. To address this issue, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of PPT Canva as a learning medium in improving the learning outcomes of tenth-grade students. This research employs a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consists of two classes: the experimental class, which uses PPT Canva, and the control class, which does not. Data were collected through written tests (pretest and posttest), observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the t-test and N-Gain test with SPSS Windows 25. The findings reveal that using PPT Canva significantly improves learning outcomes, with a significance level of 0.032 (<0.05). The average pretest score for the experimental class was 54.14, increasing to 84.34 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.6469 (moderate category). The percentage of learning mastery increased from 0% to 85.71%. Thus, it can be concluded that using PPT Canva is effective in enhancing Fiqh learning outcomes for tenth-grade students at MA Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta.

This research is motivated by the importance of utilizing technology-based learning media to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process, particularly in Physics subjects that are often perceived as difficult by students. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Quizizz as a learning media in Physics lessons on Kinetic Energy and Potential Energy material in class X.7 of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observations and documentation of students' learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of Quizizz successfully created an enjoyable learning atmosphere, increased students' motivation, and encouraged active participation. The evaluation scores through Quizizz indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of the material, with the highest score reaching 5000 points. The implication of this research suggests that implementing game-based learning media such as Quizizz can serve as an innovative alternative to improve student learning outcomes and reduce boredom in Physics learning.

This study aims to analyze the application of the Mind Mapping method in learning the Al-Qur'an Hadith in class X MA ANNAZHAR and measure its effectiveness in improving student understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that will be involved in in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The results of the study indicate that the application of this method has a positive effect on a more systematic understanding of the relationship between Quranic poetry and hadith. Using branching diagrams allows students to better remember and understand the material, and feel more motivated and active in the learning process. Although there are several obstacles, such as time constraints and students' initial understanding of this technique, overall, the Mind Mapping method has proven effective in improving student understanding and learning outcomes. To optimize the application of this method, several suggestions are given, including training for teachers in teaching and demonstrating the effective use of concept maps, as well as more systematic time management in the curriculum. Initial provision is also needed for students so that they can use it with confidence. In addition, long-term evaluation is needed to assess the effectiveness of this method in maintaining students' understanding of the Al-Qur'an Hadith material, so that appropriate corrective steps can be taken to improve the quality of learning.

Learning boredom is one of the common problems faced by students, especially at the Madrasah Aliyah level. This issue negatively impacts students' motivation and learning outcomes, which in turn can affect the quality of education. This study aims to implement an innovation in learning through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach as an effort to reduce learning boredom among students at MA Zainul Hasan 2 during the 2024-2025 academic year. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study indicate a significant decrease in students' learning boredom levels after the implementation of PBL. The average level of learning boredom decreased from 65% in the first cycle to 45% in the second cycle. This decrease shows that the application of PBL-based learning can have a positive effect in reducing learning boredom and increasing student engagement in the learning process. The PBL-based learning innovation has proven to be effective in creating a more engaging and interactive learning environment, which ultimately can improve students' motivation and enhance their learning outcomes. Thus, this study concludes that the implementation of Problem Based Learning can be an effective solution to overcome learning boredom among Madrasah Aliyah students.

This study aims to determine the effect of lifestyle on student learning outcomes in social studies at SMPN 5 Satu Atap Wonosari, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The study employed a quantitative survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 36 students of SMPN 5 Satu Atap Wonosari, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression method. The findings indicated that lifestyle influenced 62% of the students' learning outcomes in social science subject at SMPN 5 Satu Atap Wonosari, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province.

The low reasoning ability of students in processing information has an impact on learning outcomes and creative thinking skills. So it is necessary to develop a valid, practical, and effective learning model to improve students' creative thinking skills. The research method used was the Borg and Gall model which was modified into 8 stages. This research was tested on fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kalisalam 2. Data collection used questionnaires for student expert validators, and teachers, non-test assessments to measure students' creative thinking skills, and interviews. This research evaluates the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed learning model. The results of expert validation showed that the model and learning materials were very valid with an average score of 90.16%. In detail, the learning model validator gave a score of 93.66%, while the material expert gave a score of 86.66%. The practicality assessment before and after the trial was 84% and 80% respectively, both in the “practical” category. The effectiveness of the model was measured through student questionnaires with an average of 79% (“effective”) and non-test assessment of creative thinking skills, where 16 out of 23 students showed improvement after the application of the learning model. This guidebook/prototype of inquiry-based learning model development with scaffolding techniques is considered effective for improving students' creative thinking skills, besides that this model can also help teachers in encouraging innovation in classroom learning to be more interesting.

This article provides an explanation of how interactive learning can improve students’learning request in class XII SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Interactive learning in it’s application allows students to participate in learning, actively ask questions, raise students’curiosity and enthusiasm in focusing on learning materials. These things are an indicator that can be seen that with the existence of interactive learning can increase their willingness to learn, student interest in learning. This article presents the implementation of learning by using interactive media properly and correctly, along with examples of interactive learning that can be utilised by teachers in teaching and learning activities. All data obtained in this article is based on the result of observations and interviews conducted at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. It is hoped that this interactive learning can foster a sense of students interest in learning and also satisfactory cognitive learning outcomes.

This research, titled "Analysis of Role-Playing Strategies on Students' Speaking Skills in Grade XI of Madrasah Aliyah Ponpes Tahfidz Al-Faiz Tembung," is motivated by the students' learning outcomes that show limitations in speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects. Learning activities that take place in the classroom are often limited to listening and lecturing activities, even though the curriculum demands that students have higher-order thinking (HOT) skills such as analysis and discussion. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects consisting of teachers and students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research aims to analyze: (1) the implementation of role-playing strategies in improving students' speaking skills, (2) the assessment of Indonesian language learning outcomes using this strategy, and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors in using role-playing strategies. The results of the research show that the implementation of learning with role-playing strategies successfully increased students' competence and learning activity, especially in channeling ideas and opinions. The main supporting factors include teacher involvement, students' mastery of the material, and the use of relevant textbooks, including drama scripts and performance videos. Conversely, the inhibiting factors are students' shyness when role-playing and lack of mastery of the material. Based on the findings of this research, role-playing strategies are suitable to be implemented by teachers as a solution to improve the quality of learning in Indonesian language subjects.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Canva-based flashcards in learning, especially at the elementary school level. This study uses library research method by collecting and analyzing data from various relevant literatures, including journals, books, and previous research articles. The literature review shows that Canva-based flashcards have the potential to improve students' vocabulary acquisition, engagement in learning, and learning outcomes. The advantages of Canva-based flashcards lie in the flexibility of design, integration of attractive visual elements and ease of access. This media allows teachers to create learning materials that are interactive, innovative and in line with curriculum needs. The analysis shows that Canva as a design tool provides added value in creating effective learning media, with various studies showing increased student motivation and understanding of the material. However, challenges such as limited teacher competence in using Canva and the need for internet connectivity are also major concerns. This study concludes that Canva-based flashcards are a relevant and effective learning medium, but its implementation requires training support and adequate infrastructure.

Grammar correction has long been recognized as one of the most essential yet challenging aspects of second language (L2) learning. Teachers are expected to provide detailed and contextual feedback, but this process is often time-consuming and less effective in large classrooms. This study investigates the potential of AI-based chatbots as innovative tools for delivering personalized and real-time grammar feedback to support English language learning. The research employed an experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group using AI chatbots for grammar practice and a control group applying traditional teacher-based correction. Data were collected through grammar pre-tests and post-tests, writing tasks, engagement and motivation questionnaires, classroom observations, and student reflection notes. The findings demonstrate that students in the experimental group achieved significantly higher improvements in grammar accuracy compared to the control group, particularly in subject–verb agreement, tense usage, and complex sentence structures. In addition, chatbot use fostered greater engagement, motivation, and active participation, with students reporting reduced language anxiety and increased confidence in practicing English. Writing performance also improved, as students in the experimental group produced more structured, coherent, and grammatically varied texts. These results highlight the potential of AI chatbots not only to enhance linguistic accuracy but also to promote autonomous and personalized learning. In conclusion, AI chatbots represent an effective and scalable pedagogical tool that can complement traditional teaching methods while addressing teachers’ time constraints and improving students’ overall language learning outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of information and communication technology (ICT)-based learning media, especially E-Learning, on student learning achievement and learning motivation in Entrepreneurship subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Bintan Utara. The study delves into the challenges that arise in the use of E-Learning, including the lack of direct interaction and supervision, which has an impact on student motivation. The study found that although E-Learning provides flexibility in learning, its effect on improving learning achievement and motivation is not significant. Challenges such as limited access to technology and the digital divide are also factors that affect student learning outcomes.

Christian religious education teachers need to have strategies to increase the learning interest of students in grades three to six in elementary education institutions including at State Elementary School 21 Agak Hulu. Christian religious education teachers who carry out their main duties at State Elementary School 21 Agak Hulu because some students at the school do not have the interest in learning or the desire to learn is very lacking, so that the learning outcomes they receive are very unsatisfactory. This article aims to discuss the strategies of Christian religious education teachers in increasing student learning interest, so that students increasingly increase their interest in participating in learning, both at school and at home responsibly. The methodology used in this study is qualitative with a data processing approach, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The formulation of the theoretical results of this thesis is that if Christian religious education teachers have loyalty in encouraging students to increase their interest in learning to the maximum, then students will be more motivated in the learning process at home and at school. Thus, the simple conclusion of this thesis is that the more Christian religious education teachers have strategies to motivate students in the learning process at school, the more students will maximize and optimize their learning interest, especially students at Agak Hulu 21 Public Elementary School.

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the use of Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based learning media in improving the motivation and learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMKN 1 Gunung Kijang Bintan. The background of this research is the low motivation of students which has an impact on suboptimal learning outcomes, especially in subjects that require an in-depth understanding of concepts. PjBL is considered relevant because it provides students with the opportunity to be actively involved in real projects, potentially improving motivation and critical thinking skills. The method used is a quantitative research method with a correlational approach to test the relationship between learning motivation, the use of learning media, and student learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of PjBL-based learning media had a significant influence on student learning outcomes, while student learning motivation had no significant effect. These findings support the importance of interactive learning media in the learning process and suggest that the use of appropriate media can facilitate students' understanding of the material being taught.

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is True Experimental with pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The results of the research show that the average critical thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class taught using the Problem Based Learning model are in the sufficient category with an average score of critical thinking ability of 61.69 and an average score of cognitive learning outcomes. 66.73 with students who achieved the KKM of 35%, while in the control class with the Discovery Learning model it was also in the sufficient category with an average critical thinking ability score of 49.00 and cognitive learning outcomes with an average of 44.23 with students who achieved the KKM. by 4%. Inferential analysis shows significant results with a value of sig>0.05 so that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Effective classroom management is essential for successful teaching, particularly in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL), where structured, engaging environments foster academic achievement and social development. This study explores classroom management strategies, challenges, and adaptive practices employed by TEYL teachers. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with experienced teachers and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings identified rules, routines, and positive reinforcement as key strategies for maintaining order and motivation in classrooms. Teachers also emphasized movement breaks and interactive activities as effective tools to manage diverse energy levels and sustain student engagement. Challenges, such as disruptive behaviors and resource constraints, were addressed through redirection techniques and tailored lesson plans, highlighting the importance of flexibility alongside consistency. Additionally, contextual and cultural factors influenced teachers’ approaches, underscoring the significance of culturally responsive practices. While the study provides valuable insights, limitations include reliance on self-reported data and the lack of classroom observations, which could offer further validation. These findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on TEYL, offering practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance classroom dynamics and learning outcomes.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the contextual learning model in improving student activities and learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects at SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam. Contextual learning emphasizes the relevance of the subject matter to students' real lives, allowing them to construct understanding through more meaningful practical experiences. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation from students and teachers involved in the application of this model. The results showed that contextual learning significantly increased students' activities in group discussions, experiments, and projects, as well as their learning outcomes, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This learning also helps students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills that are indispensable in the world of work. Thus, contextual learning has proven to be an effective approach in improving the quality of learning at SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam.

The rapid penetration of mobile devices among students has created significant opportunities to optimize mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) for enhancing language acquisition in digital environments. Despite its potential, the implementation of MALL often remains suboptimal due to technical limitations, lack of pedagogical planning, and insufficient integration of interactive features, which limits its effectiveness in supporting structured learning. This study aims to examine how MALL applications influence student engagement, self-regulation, and language learning outcomes, while addressing the gap between technological affordances and instructional practices. Employing a mixed-methods design, the research integrates quantitative surveys, learning analytics, and qualitative interviews with higher education students who regularly use mobile applications for language learning. The methodology includes pre- and post-surveys to measure changes in engagement and self-regulation, log data to track usage patterns, and interviews to capture students’ perceptions and experiences. The findings reveal that MALL significantly enhances engagement through increased active participation, higher attendance, longer study duration, and more frequent interaction with materials. At the same time, MALL improves self-regulation by strengthening skills in time management, goal setting, monitoring progress, and maintaining persistence, leading to greater learner autonomy. Moreover, students with stronger self-regulation capacities were found to utilize MALL features more effectively, resulting in measurable improvements in vocabulary, grammar, and communicative competence. The study concludes that MALL’s effectiveness lies not only in delivering learning content but also in fostering engagement and supporting self-regulated learning. These results highlight the need for pedagogical designs that integrate technological interactivity with scaffolding strategies to maximize the potential of MALL as a learner-centered and sustainable approach to language learning in the digital era.
