The criminal justice system in Indonesia is very concerned about money laundering crimes that continue to grow along with technological advances and the complexity of modern economic crimes. This study examines in depth the legal provisions related to TPPU in Indonesia, which is based on Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes. This research aims to identify the role of prosecutors as law enforcers in applying elements of anti-trafficking at the investigation and prosecution stages, as well as to analyze various obstacles that arise in the evidentiary process in court. Using a normative juridical approach, this study utilizes literature analysis, court decision review, and evaluation of relevant legal provisions. The findings of the study show that proving preliminary crimes and the flow of funds from crimes requires public prosecutors to have a comprehensive understanding of money laundering mechanisms, including the placement, layering, and integration stages. In practice, prosecutors face various challenges, such as difficulties in tracing the origins of assets disguised through complex transactions, limited access to financial technology data, and lack of cooperation support between law enforcement and financial institutions. These obstacles often cause the proving process to be protracted and less effective. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the capacity of law enforcement officials, strengthen coordination between agencies, and use more optimal technology to support efforts to eradicate trafficking more effectively and comprehensively.

Land registration is a crucial mechanism in realizing legal certainty over land rights, particularly land with ownership status (hak milik). The Basic Agrarian Law (Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria/UUPA) Number 5 of 1960 explicitly regulates land registration as an effort to provide legal protection and certainty of rights for landowners. The purpose of this study is to understand the procedures of land registration for ownership rights to ensure legal certainty for landholders, as well as to identify the obstacles encountered in the registration process that hinder the achievement of such certainty. This study employs a normative legal research method by examining primary and secondary legal materials. The research focuses on analyzing regulations related to land registration to provide legal certainty, in accordance with the provisions of the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) No. 5 of 1960 and its implementing regulations, such as Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997 concerning Land Registration. The findings of this study indicate that the procedures for land registration both sporadic and systematic (through the Complete Systematic Land Registration Program or PTSL) function to ensure legal certainty and protect ownership rights. However, several challenges arise in its implementation, including low public awareness, land disputes or overlapping ownership claims, limited resources at land offices, and financial and time constraints. Therefore, to achieve the intended objectives, improvements in the administrative system of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) are required, along with increased public awareness regarding the importance of land certification.

The development of digital technology has encouraged the government to modernize public services, including in the field of land affairs. Traditionally, land registration has been associated with long, complex procedures that are often prone to abuse of authority. To address these challenges, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has begun implementing a digital-based land registration system. However, its implementation raises an important question: is this digital system truly effective in improving the quality of services at the Land Office, or does it instead create new obstacles? This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of land registration digitalization, particularly in terms of accessibility, efficiency, transparency, and the challenges encountered during its implementation. The research employs an empirical juridical method with qualitative analysis. The juridical approach is used to examine the legal foundations of land registration digitalization, including Law No. 5 of 1960 on Basic Agrarian Principles, Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997 on Land Registration, and the Ministerial Regulation of ATR/BPN No. 1 of 2021 on Electronic Certificates. The empirical approach involves direct observation of service processes at the Land Office and interviews with employees and citizens utilizing digital services. The findings reveal that digitalization of land registration has generally improved the quality of services at the Land Office. Administrative processes have become faster, land data are stored more securely, and service transparency has increased, as the public can monitor the status of their registration online.

This study discusses in depth the factors that cause and efforts to overcome the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) in the jurisdiction of the East Nusa Tenggara Police (NTT), which is known to have the highest number of trafficking cases in Indonesia. Using a juridical-empirical approach through interviews with nine resource persons consisting of law enforcement officials, women and child protection institutions, and the community, this study shows that although the substance of the law is quite adequate, its implementation is still weak and has not been able to cause a deterrent effect for perpetrators. Limited human resources, supporting facilities, and weak coordination between institutions are the main obstacles in the law enforcement process. Countermeasures are carried out through three main aspects, namely preemptive (counseling, socialization, and community economic empowerment), preventive (port supervision, formation of a monitoring team for illegal job vacancies, and cross-sector cooperation), and repressive (investigation, arrest, and legal process against perpetrators). This research also emphasizes the importance of increasing the capacity of the apparatus, synergy between agencies, and public education as sustainable steps in reducing the number of trafficking and protecting victims as a whole.

This study is motivated by the increasing dynamics of criminal activity within the jurisdiction of the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTT), characterized by regional variations and complex causal factors. Conventional crimes such as assault, theft, and mob violence dominate the crime landscape and significantly affect social stability. The purpose of this research is to analyze the patterns, causes, and crime control strategies implemented by Polda NTT in maintaining public security and order. The study employs an empirical legal approach using a mixed-methods design, combining quantitative analysis of crime statistics with qualitative interviews involving police officers. Data were obtained from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of Polda NTT and cover all police jurisdictions, including one city police department and twenty-one district police offices. Findings reveal that crime rates in NTT are strongly influenced by social, economic, cultural, and geographical factors. The most prevalent crimes include assault, ordinary theft, traffic accidents, and mob violence. Major contributing factors consist of a local culture of violence, alcohol consumption, economic hardship, and low legal literacy. Polda NTT’s strategies involve preventive measures (routine patrols and public legal education), repressive actions (law enforcement and offender guidance), and humanistic approaches such as the Jumat Curhat program, which facilitates direct dialogue with the community.

Handling cases of domestic violence (KDRT) requires an approach that not only focuses on sanctions for perpetrators, but also on the comprehensive recovery of victims. One of the appropriate methods is restorative justice, which is focused on restoring social relations, psychological recovery for the victim, and the participation of all parties involved in the process of resolving the case. In this context, lawyers play a strategic role, not only as defenders of the law, but also as facilitators of a just and supportive restorative process for victims. This study aims to analyze in depth the role of lawyers in the implementation of restorative justice in domestic violence cases, as well as identify the challenges and opportunities faced in practice. The applied approach includes normative juridical and sociological with qualitative data analysis. The findings indicate that lawyers play a crucial role in ensuring victims ' rights are protected, providing trauma-sensitive legal assistance, and encouraging restorative agreements that do not harm victims. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the capacity of lawyers, the development of more comprehensive regulations, and cooperation between sectors to support the implementation of restorative justice that is efficient and in favor of victims of domestic violence.

Marriage is a basic human need that involves an official agreement between husband and wife, regulating rights and obligations, including the ownership and management of joint property. Under Indonesian law, property acquired during marriage is considered joint property, which often becomes a source of conflict during divorce. To prevent this, Indonesian law recognizes the existence of a marital separation of property agreement, which regulates the separation of assets between spouses from the beginning, whether before or during marriage. A separation of property agreement provides legal protection for personal assets, protects one party from being liable for the partner’s debts, and reduces the potential for disputes during divorce. Therefore, it is important for the public to receive socialization and legal education about the separation of property agreement in marriage to increase understanding of its benefits and protect the rights of married couples in both marriage and divorce. Legal education on this matter can help reduce disputes over joint property and offer better protection for couples who wish to clearly and legally manage their assets.

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)-based biohacking has evolved as a body modification practice that integrates technology directly into human biology. While the practice has historical roots dating back to World War II when RFID was used to identify aircraft, its development toward human implantation began in the late 20th century and has become more widespread with society's increasing reliance on digital technology. Analysis of the principle of beneficence reveals that although RFID implantation can increase user convenience, comfort and security, these benefits are not yet fully supported by adequate scientific evidence regarding long-term safety. Meanwhile, the principle of non-maleficence highlights the risks of infection, tissue damage, interference with radiological examinations, and publications regarding other medical complications resulting from implantation, which is generally performed by non-medical personnel. Through historical, technical, and ethical reviews, this research emphasizes the need for a clearer regulatory framework, increased bioethical literacy, and the involvement of healthcare professionals in implantation to ensure that technological developments do not compromise human safety and well-being
