The increase in internet users in Indonesia presents a significant opportunity for business actors to market products through digital marketing, which allows transactions anytime and anywhere and influences purchasing decisions through complete and real-time product information. In addition, impulsive buying behavior, especially in areas like Ponorogo, which is rich in quality rice products with attractive discounts, also contributes to increased sales, impacting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term customer value. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing, product information, and impulse buying on purchasing decisions, as well as the ability of purchasing decisions to mediate the effect of digital marketing, product information, and impulse buying on marketing performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research sample of 104 respondents who are consumers of rice products in the Legi Ponorogo market. The data collection technique employed a questionnaire distributed online. The data analysis technique used is SEM PLS. The results of the study indicate that digital marketing and product information affect purchasing decisions, whereas impulse buying does not affect purchasing decisions. Furthermore, purchasing decisions have an impact on marketing performance. The results of the indirect effect show that purchasing decisions mediate the influence of digital marketing and product information on marketing performance, while purchasing decisions do not mediate the influence of impulse buying on purchasing decisions.

The pollution of the Ciliwung River caused by urban and commercial activities has become an increasingly critical environmental issue, reflecting the weak effectiveness of environmental law enforcement in urban areas. This condition is evident in the area surrounding Seasons City Mall, where ecological pressure resulting from domestic waste and commercial activities has contributed to the deterioration of river water quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of environmental law enforcement, identify the obstacles to controlling pollution in the Ciliwung River, and formulate strategies for optimizing sustainable environmental protection. The research employs a qualitative approach using normative juridical and empirical methods through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The findings reveal that environmental law enforcement has been implemented through administrative supervision and waste control mechanisms; however, its effectiveness remains limited due to weak inter-agency coordination, inadequate monitoring capacity, low compliance among business actors, and limited public participation. This study concludes that strengthening integrated supervision, enforcing consistent legal sanctions, and enhancing collaboration among government institutions, business sectors, and communities are essential to achieving sustainable pollution control and environmental protection of the Ciliwung River.

This study examines the systemic transformation of Japan’s refugee and immigration policy from 2021 to 2025, exploring how humanitarian paradigms have been superseded by state security considerations. The research aims to analyze how Japan constructs refugees as an existential threat to legitimize its restrictive reception regime, synthesizing Realism and Constructivism to explore the intersection of securitization, national interest, and identity. Methodologically, this paper employs a qualitative interpretive case study by integrating Ruth Wodak’s Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) and Interpretive Process Tracing (IPT) to examine government texts, policy documents, and parliamentary debates. The findings reveal a profound policy asymmetry driven by intersubjective threat framing and institutionalized topoi (abuse, threat, law and order). Ukrainian displaced persons are positively categorized as evacuees (hinanmin) to align with G7 geopolitics, whereas traditional asylum seekers are pejoratively labeled as "repeated applicants" and framed as threats to public order, social harmony (wa), and ethnic homogeneity (tan’itsu minzoku). This discursive construction successfully legitimizes extraordinary measures within the 2023 amendment of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (ICRRA), including the abolition of automatic deportation suspensions and the expansion of a surveillance state via alternative monitoring (kanri sochi). Ultimately, this study demonstrates that international norm compliance is deeply mediated by domestic cultural appropriateness (nihonjinron). It implies the necessity for future ethnographic research on grassroots impacts and suggests transparent asylum evaluation metrics aligned with non-refoulement principles.

This article analyzes the security crisis in Haiti through the lens of constructivist theory in International Relations. Haiti represents one of the clearest examples of a failed state in the Western Hemisphere, where state authority has collapsed and been replaced by armed criminal groups known as gangs. Using a constructivist perspective, this article traces how social constructions, identities, and historically formed norms have shaped the fragility of the Haitian state. The study also integrates the concept of human security to illustrate the real impact of this crisis on citizens' security across seven dimensions: economic, food, health, environmental, personal, community, and political. The main finding suggests that Haiti's state failure is not merely a product of weak formal institutions, but the result of a long process of social construction, encompassing the legacy of colonialism, crippling reparation payments, counterproductive foreign intervention, and the normalization of violence in everyday life. From a constructivist perspective, restoring security in Haiti requires narrative reconstruction, rebuilding social trust, and comprehensive reform of institutional norms.

Culture and traditions in Southwest Maluku contain a wealth of local wisdom that serves as a social glue, one of which is reflected in the use of the greeting Kalwedo. This greeting is not just a mere pleasantry, but has a very strong meaning in presenting the values of brotherhood and local wisdom of the people of Southwest Maluku. This study shows several things, including, this study aims to interpret the antagonistic meaning of the greeting Kalwedo as a symbol of brotherhood by using the hermeneutic approach of Hans-Georg Gadamer. The research method used is qualitative descriptive-analysis. Data analysis was carried out through three hermeneutic movements, namely phenomenology, reconstruction, and dialogue. The results of the study show that Kalwedo contains the meaning of "we are together" or "we are one" which means emphasizing the unity of existence between the greeter and the greeted. Based on Gadamer's perspective, this meaning is formed from the fusion of horizons, namely between the past and the present, where the tradition will remain alive and meaningful in the contemporary context. The Kalwedo greeting serves as a medium for erasing barriers of difference, strengthening bonds of brotherhood, and building awareness of an inclusive collective identity. In conclusion, Kalwedo is a manifestation of wirkungsgeschichte (influential history) that continuously shapes and maintains social harmony amidst the dynamics of community life in Southwest Maluku.

High-quality forage selection is a central factor in improving Bali cattle performance, particularly in smallholder systems that rely heavily on local feed resources. This study evaluated the effects of odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) and pakchong grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Thailand) on feed intake, average daily gain, and feed conversion ratio of male Bali cattle. The experiment was conducted for 30 days from February to March 2026 at CV. RnB Farm, Gorontalo Regency. Nine male Bali cattle with relatively homogeneous initial body weights of 150–200 kg was assigned to a completely randomized design with three treatments and three replications. The treatments were P0, field grass as the control; P1, 100% odot grass plus concentrate; and P2, 100% pakchong grass plus concentrate. Dry matter intake did not differ significantly among treatments, with values of 6.47 ± 0.19, 6.52 ± 0.19, and 6.55 ± 0.16 kg/head/day for P0, P1, and P2, respectively. In contrast, average daily gain differed significantly, with the highest value observed in P2 at 0.56 ± 0.08 kg/head/day, followed by P1 at 0.52 ± 0.09 kg/head/day and P0 at 0.45 ± 0.06 kg/head/day. Feed conversion ratio also differed significantly, with the most efficient value recorded in P2 at 11.98 ± 2.10. These findings indicate that pakchong grass combined with concentrate provides the best feed efficiency and growth performance, while odot grass remains a promising alternative forage for improving Bali cattle productivity.

This study aims to analyze the position of customary law in the new Criminal Code and the integration of restorative justice in resolving criminal cases in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative approach with normative juridical research through legislative and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that the new Criminal Code recognizes living law, including customary law, as part of the national legal system. However, its status remains complementary and subordinate to state law. The integration of restorative justice into the criminal justice system is a progressive step that emphasizes restoring relationships between perpetrators, victims, and the community. This approach aligns with customary law values that prioritize deliberation, balance, and social harmony. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, such as unclear regulations, limited official capacity, and potential conflicts with human rights principles. Therefore, regulatory strengthening, procedural standardization, and institutional capacity building are needed to ensure the integration of customary law and restorative justice can be implemented effectively, fairly, and sustainably within the Indonesian criminal justice system.

Persons with disabilities often face negative stigma and challenges in developing their potential due to limited access to appropriate education and training. Despite the growing body of literature on disability empowerment, existing studies have predominantly focused on hard skill development and economic outcomes, while the role of social skills programs in facilitating broader social integration remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze the empowerment and social skill development of persons with disabilities through programs implemented by the Sahabat Difabel Community, employing the theory of secondary socialization proposed by Berger and Luckmann (1966) and the critical pedagogy framework of McLaren (2010). Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from November 2024 to June 2025 in Semarang. The findings indicate that the community provides both hard skill and soft skill training to support the independence and social skills of persons with disabilities. This potential-based empowerment model emphasizes social inclusion and work readiness while complementing the role of families in fostering independence. The study recommends further collaboration among communities, families, private institutions, and the government to create an inclusive environment that supports the development of persons with disabilities.

This study was motivated by the phenomenon of increasing anti-feminism and digital misogyny in Germany, where constitutionally guaranteed equality has suffered a practical setback in the form of a decline in female representation in the Bundestag to 32,4%. This situation has triggered an urgent need for persuasive communication through state addresses. This study aims to analyze the emotional rhetoric (pathos) and intonation strategies in the Ansprache zum Welt-Frauentag in order to raise audience awareness. The method used is a mixed method of qualitative analysis of rhetoric by Aristoteles (2007) and quantitative digital acoustic analysis using Praat software supported theory by Kohler (1995). The data for this analysis are transcripts and audio recordings of the Ansprache zum Welt-Frauentag delivered by Bundespräsident Steinmeier. The results of the study identified three typologies of relationships between diction and intonation, namely contradiction, in which emotional diction is delivered in a flat tone to maintain objectivity; compensation, in which neutral legal references are given emotional weight through a rise in tone (late peak); and parallelism, which is the harmony between emotional diction and the highest voice frequency to build strong authority. Thus, this study confirms that the effectiveness of persuasion in a speech does not only depend on the text, but also on the flexibility of manipulating voice frequency, which strategically functions as an instrument for navigating the audience’s emotions.
